פֶ֗סֶל of images p̄e·sel יֵבֹ֤שׁוּ׀ are put to shame — yê·ḇō·šū הַמִּֽתְהַלְלִ֥ים those who boast ham·miṯ·hal·lîm בָּאֱלִילִ֑ים in idols . bā·’ĕ·lî·lîm הִשְׁתַּחֲווּ־ Worship hiš·ta·ḥă·wū- ל֝וֹ Him , lōw כָּל־ all kāl- אֱלֹהִֽים׃ [you] gods ! ’ĕ·lō·hîm Psalm 97:8 צִיּ֗וֹן Zion ṣî·yō·wn שָׁמְעָ֬ה hears šā·mə·‘āh וַתִּשְׂמַ֨ח׀ and rejoices , wat·tiś·maḥ בְּנ֣וֹת and the towns bə·nō·wṯ יְהוּדָ֑ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh וַ֭תָּגֵלְנָה exult wat·tā·ḡê·lə·nāh לְמַ֖עַן because of lə·ma·‘an מִשְׁפָּטֶ֣יךָ Your judgments , miš·pā·ṭe·ḵā יְהוָֽה׃ O YHWH . Yah·weh Psalm 97:9 כִּֽי־ For kî- אַתָּ֤ה You , ’at·tāh יְהוָ֗ה O YHWH , Yah·weh עֶלְי֥וֹן are Most High ‘el·yō·wn עַל־ over ‘al- כָּל־ all kāl- הָאָ֑רֶץ the earth ; hā·’ā·reṣ נַ֝עֲלֵ֗יתָ You are exalted na·‘ă·lê·ṯā מְאֹ֥ד far mə·’ōḏ עַל־ above ‘al- כָּל־ all kāl- אֱלֹהִֽים׃ gods . ’ĕ·lō·hîm Psalm 97:10 שִׂנְא֫וּ Hate śin·’ū רָ֥ע evil , rā‘ אֹהֲבֵ֥י O you who love ’ō·hă·ḇê יְהוָ֗ה YHWH !
