יִשְׂמְח֣וּ be glad yiś·mə·ḥū הָאָ֑רֶץ and the earth hā·’ā·reṣ וְתָגֵ֣ל rejoice ; wə·ṯā·ḡêl הַ֝יָּ֗ם let the sea hay·yām יִֽרְעַ֥ם resound , yir·‘am וּמְלֹאֽוֹ׃ and all that fills it . ū·mə·lō·’ōw Psalm 96:12 שָׂ֭דַי Let the fields ḏay יַעֲלֹ֣ז exult , ya·‘ă·lōz וְכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl אֲשֶׁר־ that [is] ’ă·šer- בּ֑וֹ in them . bōw אָ֥ז Then ’āz כָּל־ all kāl- עֲצֵי־ the trees ‘ă·ṣê- יָֽעַר׃ of the forest yā·‘ar יְ֝רַנְּנ֗וּ will sing for joy yə·ran·nə·nū Psalm 96:13 לִפְנֵ֤י before lip̄·nê יְהוָ֨ה׀ YHWH , Yah·weh כִּ֬י for kî בָ֗א He is coming — ḇā כִּ֥י - kî בָא֮ He is coming ḇā לִשְׁפֹּ֪ט to judge liš·pōṭ הָ֫אָ֥רֶץ the earth . hā·’ā·reṣ יִשְׁפֹּֽט־ He will judge yiš·pōṭ- תֵּבֵ֥ל the world tê·ḇêl בְּצֶ֑דֶק in righteousness bə·ṣe·ḏeq וְ֝עַמִּ֗ים and the peoples wə·‘am·mîm בֶּאֱמוּנָתֽוֹ׃ in His faithfulness . be·’ĕ·mū·nā·ṯōw Psalm 97:1 יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh מָ֭לָךְ reigns , mā·lāḵ הָאָ֑רֶץ let the earth hā·’ā·reṣ תָּגֵ֣ל rejoice ; tā·ḡêl רַבִּֽים׃ let the distant rab·bîm אִיִּ֥ים shores ’î·yîm יִ֝שְׂמְח֗וּ be glad . yiś·mə·ḥū Psalm 97:2 עָנָ֣ן Clouds ‘ā·nān וַעֲרָפֶ֣ל and darkness wa·‘ă·rā·p̄el סְבִיבָ֑יו surround Him ; sə·ḇî·ḇāw צֶ֥דֶק righteousness ṣe·ḏeq וּ֝מִשְׁפָּ֗ט and justice ū·miš·pāṭ כִּסְאֽוֹ׃ are His throne’s kis·’ōw מְכ֣וֹן foundation . mə·ḵō·wn Psalm 97:3 אֵ֭שׁ Fire ’êš תֵּלֵ֑ךְ goes tê·lêḵ לְפָנָ֣יו before Him lə·p̄ā·nāw וּתְלַהֵ֖ט and consumes ū·ṯə·la·hêṭ צָרָֽיו׃ His foes ṣā·rāw סָבִ֣יב on every side . sā·ḇîḇ Psalm 97:4 בְרָקָ֣יו His lightning ḇə·rā·qāw הֵאִ֣ירוּ illuminates hê·’î·rū תֵּבֵ֑ל the world ; tê·ḇêl הָאָֽרֶץ׃ the earth hā·’ā·reṣ רָאֲתָ֖ה sees rā·’ă·ṯāh וַתָּחֵ֣ל and trembles . wat·tā·ḥêl Psalm 97:5 הָרִ֗ים The mountains hā·rîm נָ֭מַסּוּ melt nā·mas·sū כַּדּוֹנַ֗ג like wax kad·dō·w·naḡ מִלִּפְנֵ֣י at the presence mil·lip̄·nê יְהוָ֑ה of YHWH , Yah·weh מִ֝לִּפְנֵ֗י before mil·lip̄·nê אֲד֣וֹן the Lord ’ă·ḏō·wn כָּל־ of all kāl- הָאָֽרֶץ׃ the earth . hā·’ā·reṣ Psalm 97:6 הַשָּׁמַ֣יִם The heavens haš·šā·ma·yim הִגִּ֣ידוּ proclaim hig·gî·ḏū צִדְק֑וֹ His righteousness ; ṣiḏ·qōw כָל־ all ḵāl הָעַמִּ֣ים the peoples hā·‘am·mîm וְרָא֖וּ see wə·rā·’ū כְּבוֹדֽוֹ׃ His glory . kə·ḇō·w·ḏōw Psalm 97:7 כָּל־ All kāl- עֹ֬בְדֵי worshipers ‘ō·ḇə·ḏê
