Psalm 91:6 מִ֭דֶּבֶר [nor] the pestilence mid·de·ḇer יַהֲלֹ֑ךְ that stalks ya·hă·lōḵ בָּאֹ֣פֶל in the darkness , bā·’ō·p̄el מִ֝קֶּ֗טֶב [nor] the calamity miq·qe·ṭeḇ יָשׁ֥וּד that destroys yā·šūḏ צָהֳרָֽיִם׃ at noon . ṣā·ho·rā·yim Psalm 91:7 אֶ֗לֶף Though a thousand ’e·lep̄ יִפֹּ֤ל may fall yip·pōl מִצִּדְּךָ֨׀ at your side , miṣ·ṣid·də·ḵā וּרְבָבָ֥ה and ten thousand ū·rə·ḇā·ḇāh מִימִינֶ֑ךָ at your right hand , mî·mî·ne·ḵā לֹ֣א no [harm] lō אֵ֝לֶ֗יךָ will come near ’ê·le·ḵā יִגָּֽשׁ׃ you . yig·gāš Psalm 91:8 רַ֭ק You will only raq תַבִּ֑יט see it ṯab·bîṭ בְּעֵינֶ֣יךָ with your eyes bə·‘ê·ne·ḵā תִּרְאֶֽה׃ and witness tir·’eh וְשִׁלֻּמַ֖ת the punishment wə·šil·lu·maṯ רְשָׁעִ֣ים of the wicked . rə·šā·‘îm Psalm 91:9 כִּֽי־ Because kî- אַתָּ֣ה you ’at·tāh שַׂ֣מְתָּ have made śam·tā יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh מְעוֹנֶֽךָ׃ your dwelling — mə·‘ō·w·ne·ḵā מַחְסִ֑י my refuge , maḥ·sî עֶ֝לְי֗וֹן the Most High — ‘el·yō·wn Psalm 91:10 לֹֽא־ no lō- רָעָ֑ה evil rā·‘āh תְאֻנֶּ֣ה will befall ṯə·’un·neh אֵלֶ֣יךָ you , ’ê·le·ḵā לֹא־ no lō- וְ֝נֶ֗גַע plague wə·ne·ḡa‘ יִקְרַ֥ב will approach yiq·raḇ בְּאָהֳלֶֽךָ׃ your tent . bə·’ā·ho·le·ḵā Psalm 91:11 כִּ֣י For kî יְצַוֶּה־ He will command yə·ṣaw·weh- מַ֭לְאָכָיו His angels mal·’ā·ḵāw לָּ֑ךְ concerning you lāḵ לִ֝שְׁמָרְךָ֗ to guard you liš·mā·rə·ḵā בְּכָל־ in all bə·ḵāl דְּרָכֶֽיךָ׃ your ways . də·rā·ḵe·ḵā Psalm 91:12 יִשָּׂא֑וּנְךָ They will lift you up yiś·śā·’ū·nə·ḵā עַל־ in ‘al- כַּפַּ֥יִם their hands , kap·pa·yim פֶּן־ so that you will not pen- תִּגֹּ֖ף strike tig·gōp̄ רַגְלֶֽךָ׃ your foot raḡ·le·ḵā בָּאֶ֣בֶן against a stone . bā·’e·ḇen Psalm 91:13 תִּדְרֹ֑ךְ You will tread tiḏ·rōḵ עַל־ on ‘al- שַׁ֣חַל the lion ša·ḥal וָפֶ֣תֶן and cobra ; wā·p̄e·ṯen תִּרְמֹ֖ס you will trample tir·mōs כְּפִ֣יר the young lion kə·p̄îr וְתַנִּֽין׃ and serpent . wə·ṯan·nîn Psalm 91:14 כִּ֤י “ Because kî חָ֭שַׁק he loves ḥā·šaq בִ֣י Me , ḇî וַאֲפַלְּטֵ֑הוּ I will deliver him ; wa·’ă·p̄al·lə·ṭê·hū כִּֽי־ because kî- יָדַ֥ע he knows yā·ḏa‘ שְׁמִֽי׃ My name , šə·mî אֲ֝שַׂגְּבֵ֗הוּ I will protect him . ’ă·śag·gə·ḇê·hū Psalm 91:15 יִקְרָאֵ֨נִי׀ When he calls out to Me , yiq·rā·’ê·nî וְֽאֶעֱנֵ֗הוּ I will answer him ; wə·’e·‘ĕ·nê·hū אָנֹכִ֥י I ’ā·nō·ḵî עִמּֽוֹ־ will be with him ‘im·mōw- בְצָרָ֑ה in trouble . ḇə·ṣā·rāh אֲ֝חַלְּצֵ֗הוּ I will deliver him ’ă·ḥal·lə·ṣê·hū וַֽאֲכַבְּדֵֽהוּ׃ and honor him . wa·’ă·ḵab·bə·ḏê·hū
