Psalm 14:5 שָׁ֤ם׀ There they are , šām פָּ֣חֲדוּ overwhelmed pā·ḥă·ḏū פָ֑חַד with dread , p̄ā·ḥaḏ כִּֽי־ for kî- אֱ֝לֹהִ֗ים God ’ĕ·lō·hîm בְּד֣וֹר [is] in the company bə·ḏō·wr צַדִּֽיק׃ of the righteous . ṣad·dîq Psalm 14:6 תָבִ֑ישׁוּ You [sinners] frustrate ṯā·ḇî·šū עֲצַת־ the plans ‘ă·ṣaṯ- עָנִ֥י of the oppressed , ‘ā·nî כִּ֖י yet kî יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh מַחְסֵֽהוּ׃ is their shelter . maḥ·sê·hū Psalm 14:7 מִ֥י Oh, that mî יְשׁוּעַ֪ת the salvation yə·šū·‘aṯ יִשְׂרָ֫אֵ֥ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl יִתֵּ֣ן would come yit·tên מִצִּיּוֹן֮ from Zion ! miṣ·ṣî·yō·wn יְ֭הוָה When YHWH Yah·weh בְּשׁ֣וּב restores bə·šūḇ שְׁב֣וּת His captive šə·ḇūṯ עַמּ֑וֹ people , ‘am·mōw יַ֝עֲקֹ֗ב let Jacob ya·‘ă·qōḇ יָגֵ֥ל rejoice , yā·ḡêl יִשְׂרָֽאֵל׃ let Israel yiś·rā·’êl יִשְׂמַ֥ח be glad ! yiś·maḥ Psalm 15:1 מִזְמ֗וֹר A Psalm miz·mō·wr לְדָ֫וִ֥ד of David . lə·ḏā·wiḏ יְ֭הֹוָה O YHWH , Yah·weh מִי־ who mî- יָג֣וּר may abide yā·ḡūr בְּאָהֳלֶ֑ךָ in Your tent ? bə·’ā·ho·le·ḵā מִֽי־ Who mî- יִ֝שְׁכֹּ֗ן may dwell yiš·kōn קָדְשֶֽׁךָ׃ on Your holy qāḏ·še·ḵā בְּהַ֣ר mountain ? bə·har Psalm 15:2 הוֹלֵ֣ךְ He who walks hō·w·lêḵ תָּ֭מִים with integrity tā·mîm וּפֹעֵ֥ל and practices ū·p̄ō·‘êl צֶ֑דֶק righteousness , ṣe·ḏeq וְדֹבֵ֥ר who speaks wə·ḏō·ḇêr אֱ֝מֶ֗ת the truth ’ĕ·meṯ בִּלְבָבֽוֹ׃ from his heart , bil·ḇā·ḇōw Psalm 15:3 לֹֽא־ who has no lō- רָגַ֨ל׀ slander rā·ḡal עַל־ on ‘al- לְשֹׁנ֗וֹ his tongue , lə·šō·nōw עָשָׂ֣ה who does ‘ā·śāh לֹא־ no lō- רָעָ֑ה harm rā·‘āh לְרֵעֵ֣הוּ to his neighbor , lə·rê·‘ê·hū וְ֝חֶרְפָּ֗ה who casts no scorn wə·ḥer·pāh לֹא־ . . . lō- נָשָׂ֥א . . . nā·śā עַל־ on ‘al- קְרֹֽבוֹ׃ his friend , qə·rō·ḇōw Psalm 15:4 נִבְזֶ֤ה׀ who despises niḇ·zeh בְּֽעֵ֘ינָ֤יו . . . bə·‘ê·nāw נִמְאָ֗ס the vile nim·’ās וְאֶת־ but wə·’eṯ- יְכַבֵּ֑ד honors yə·ḵab·bêḏ יִרְאֵ֣י those who fear yir·’ê יְהוָ֣ה YHWH , Yah·weh וְלֹ֣א who does not wə·lō יָמִֽר׃ revise yā·mir לְ֝הָרַ֗ע a costly lə·hā·ra‘ נִשְׁבַּ֥ע oath , niš·ba‘ Psalm 15:5 נָתַ֣ן who lends nā·ṯan כַּסְפּ֤וֹ׀ his money kas·pōw לֹא־ without lō- בְּנֶשֶׁךְ֮ interest bə·ne·šeḵ לָ֫קָ֥ח and refuses lā·qāḥ וְשֹׁ֥חַד a bribe wə·šō·ḥaḏ עַל־ against ‘al- נָקִ֗י the innocent . nā·qî לֹ֥א lō עֹֽשֵׂה־ He who does ‘ō·śêh- אֵ֑לֶּה these things ’êl·leh
