לְקַיֵּ֗ם to confirm lə·qay·yêm הַזֹּ֖את this haz·zōṯ הַשֵּׁנִֽית׃ second haš·šê·nîṯ אֵ֣ת - ’êṯ אִגֶּ֧רֶת letter ’ig·ge·reṯ הַפּוּרִ֛ים concerning Purim . hap·pū·rîm Esther 9:30 וַיִּשְׁלַ֨ח And [Mordecai] sent way·yiš·laḥ סְפָרִ֜ים letters sə·p̄ā·rîm דִּבְרֵ֥י [with] words diḇ·rê שָׁל֖וֹם of peace šā·lō·wm וֶאֱמֶֽת׃ and truth we·’ĕ·meṯ אֶל־ to ’el- כָּל־ all kāl- הַיְּהוּדִ֗ים the Jews hay·yə·hū·ḏîm אֶל־ in ’el- שֶׁ֨בַע the 127 še·ḇa‘ וְעֶשְׂרִ֤ים . . . wə·‘eś·rîm וּמֵאָה֙ . . . ū·mê·’āh מְדִינָ֔ה provinces mə·ḏî·nāh מַלְכ֖וּת of the kingdom mal·ḵūṯ אֲחַשְׁוֵר֑וֹשׁ of Xerxes , ’ă·ḥaš·wê·rō·wōš Esther 9:31 לְקַיֵּ֡ם in order to confirm lə·qay·yêm אֵת־ - ’êṯ- הָאֵ֜לֶּה these hā·’êl·leh יְמֵי֩ days yə·mê הַפֻּרִ֨ים of Purim hap·pu·rîm בִּזְמַנֵּיהֶ֗ם at their [appointed] time , biz·man·nê·hem כַּאֲשֶׁר֩ just as ka·’ă·šer עֲלֵיהֶ֜ם - ‘ă·lê·hem מָרְדֳּכַ֤י Mordecai mā·rə·do·ḵay הַיְּהוּדִי֙ the Jew hay·yə·hū·ḏî הַמַּלְכָּ֔ה and Queen ham·mal·kāh וְאֶסְתֵּ֣ר Esther wə·’es·têr קִיַּ֨ם had established them qî·yam וְכַאֲשֶׁ֛ר [and] wə·ḵa·’ă·šer קִיְּמ֥וּ had committed qî·yə·mū עַל־ . . . ‘al- נַפְשָׁ֖ם themselves nap̄·šām וְעַל־ . . . wə·‘al- זַרְעָ֑ם and their descendants zar·‘ām דִּבְרֵ֥י to the times diḇ·rê הַצֹּמ֖וֹת of fasting haṣ·ṣō·mō·wṯ וְזַעֲקָתָֽם׃ and lamentation . wə·za·‘ă·qā·ṯām Esther 9:32 אֶסְתֵּ֔ר So Esther’s ’es·têr וּמַאֲמַ֣ר decree ū·ma·’ă·mar קִיַּ֕ם confirmed qî·yam הָאֵ֑לֶּה these hā·’êl·leh דִּבְרֵ֥י regulations diḇ·rê הַפֻּרִ֖ים about Purim , hap·pu·rîm וְנִכְתָּ֖ב which were written wə·niḵ·tāḇ בַּסֵּֽפֶר׃פ into the record . bas·sê·p̄er Esther 10:1 הַמֶּ֨לֶךְ Now King ham·me·leḵ אֲחָשֵׁרֹשׁ Xerxes ʾă·ḥå̄·šē·rōš וַיָּשֶׂם֩ imposed way·yā·śem מַ֛ס tribute mas עַל־ throughout ‘al- הָאָ֖רֶץ the land , hā·’ā·reṣ וְאִיֵּ֥י even to its farthest shores wə·’î·yê הַיָּֽם׃ . . . . hay·yām Esther 10:2 וְכָל־ And all wə·ḵāl מָרְדֳּכַ֔י of Mordecai’s mā·rə·do·ḵay תָקְפּוֹ֙ powerful ṯā·qə·pōw וּגְב֣וּרָת֔וֹ and magnificent ū·ḡə·ḇū·rā·ṯōw מַעֲשֵׂ֤ה accomplishments , ma·‘ă·śêh וּפָרָשַׁת֙ together with the full account ū·p̄ā·rā·šaṯ גְּדֻלַּ֣ת of the greatness gə·ḏul·laṯ אֲשֶׁ֥ר to which ’ă·šer הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ the king ham·me·leḵ גִּדְּל֖וֹ had raised him , gid·də·lōw הֵ֣ם are they hêm הֲלוֹא־ not hă·lō·w- כְּתוּבִ֗ים written kə·ṯū·ḇîm עַל־ in ‘al- סֵ֙פֶר֙ the Book sê·p̄er דִּבְרֵ֣י of the Chronicles diḇ·rê הַיָּמִ֔ים . . . hay·yā·mîm לְמַלְכֵ֖י of the Kings lə·mal·ḵê מָדַ֥י of Media mā·ḏay וּפָרָֽס׃ and Persia ? ū·p̄ā·rās Esther 10:3 כִּ֣י׀ For kî מָרְדֳּכַ֣י Mordecai mā·rə·do·ḵay הַיְּהוּדִ֗י the Jew hay·yə·hū·ḏî
