יְהוָ֖ה YHWH , Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֣י the God ’ĕ·lō·hê אֲבוֹתֵ֑ינוּ of our fathers , ’ă·ḇō·w·ṯê·nū אֲשֶׁ֨ר who ’ă·šer נָתַ֤ן has put nā·ṯan כָּזֹאת֙ - kā·zōṯ בְּלֵ֣ב into the heart bə·lêḇ הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ of the king ham·me·leḵ לְפָאֵ֕ר to so honor lə·p̄ā·’êr אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בֵּ֥ית the house bêṯ יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH Yah·weh אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer בִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ in Jerusalem , bî·rū·šā·lim Ezra 7:28 הִטָּה־ and who has shown hiṭ·ṭāh- וְעָלַ֣י me wə·‘ā·lay חֶ֗סֶד favor ḥe·seḏ לִפְנֵ֤י before lip̄·nê הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ the king , ham·me·leḵ וְיֽוֹעֲצָ֔יו his counselors , wə·yō·w·‘ă·ṣāw וּלְכָל־ and all ū·lə·ḵāl- הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ his ham·me·leḵ הַגִּבֹּרִ֑ים powerful hag·gib·bō·rîm שָׂרֵ֥י officials . śā·rê כְּיַד־ And because the hand kə·yaḏ- יְהוָ֤ה of YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהַי֙ my God ’ĕ·lō·hay עָלַ֔י [was] upon me , ‘ā·lay וַאֲנִ֣י I wa·’ă·nî הִתְחַזַּ֗קְתִּי took courage hiṯ·ḥaz·zaq·tî וָאֶקְבְּצָ֧ה and gathered wā·’eq·bə·ṣāh רָאשִׁ֖ים the leaders rā·šîm מִיִּשְׂרָאֵ֛ל of Israel mî·yiś·rā·’êl לַעֲל֥וֹת to return la·‘ă·lō·wṯ עִמִּֽי׃פ with me . ‘im·mî Ezra 8:1 וְאֵ֛לֶּה These wə·’êl·leh אֲבֹתֵיהֶ֖ם are the family ’ă·ḇō·ṯê·hem רָאשֵׁ֥י heads rā·šê וְהִתְיַחְשָׂ֑ם and genealogical records wə·hiṯ·yaḥ·śām הָעֹלִ֣ים of those who returned hā·‘ō·lîm עִמִּ֗י with me ‘im·mî מִבָּבֶֽל׃ס from Babylon mib·bā·ḇel בְּמַלְכ֛וּת during the reign bə·mal·ḵūṯ הַמֶּ֖לֶךְ of King ham·me·leḵ אַרְתַּחְשַׁ֥סְתְּא Artaxerxes : ’ar·taḥ·šast Ezra 8:2 מִבְּנֵ֤י from the descendants mib·bə·nê פִֽינְחָס֙ of Phinehas , p̄î·nə·ḥās גֵּֽרְשֹׁ֔םס Gershom ; gē·rə·šō·ms מִבְּנֵ֥י from the descendants mib·bə·nê אִיתָמָ֖ר of Ithamar , ’î·ṯā·mār דָּנִיֵּ֑אלס Daniel ; då̄·nī·yē·ls מִבְּנֵ֥י from the descendants of mib·bə·nê דָוִ֖יד David , ḏā·wîḏ חַטּֽוּשׁ׃ס Hattush ḥaṭ·ṭūš Ezra 8:3 מִבְּנֵ֣י of the descendants mib·bə·nê שְׁכַנְיָ֔הס of Shecaniah ; šə·ḵan·yå̄·hs מִבְּנֵ֥י from the descendants mib·bə·nê פַרְעֹ֖שׁ of Parosh , p̄ar·‘ōš זְכַרְיָ֑ה Zechariah , zə·ḵar·yāh וְעִמּ֛וֹ and with him wə·‘im·mōw הִתְיַחֵ֥שׂ [were] registered hiṯ·ya·ḥêś מֵאָ֥ה 150 mê·’āh וַחֲמִשִּֽׁים׃ס . . . wa·ḥă·miš·šîm לִזְכָרִ֖ים men ; liz·ḵā·rîm Ezra 8:4 מִבְּנֵי֙ from the descendants mib·bə·nê פַּחַ֣ת vvv pa·ḥaṯ מוֹאָ֔ב of Pahath-Moab , mō·w·’āḇ אֶלְיְהֽוֹעֵינַ֖י Eliehoenai ’el·yə·hō·w·‘ê·nay בֶּן־ son ben- זְרַֽחְיָ֑ה of Zerahiah , zə·raḥ·yāh וְעִמּ֖וֹ and with him wə·‘im·mōw מָאתַ֥יִם 200 mā·ṯa·yim הַזְּכָרִֽים׃ס men ; haz·zə·ḵā·rîm Ezra 8:5 מִבְּנֵ֥י from the descendants [of Zattu] , mib·bə·nê שְׁכַנְיָ֖ה Shecaniah šə·ḵan·yāh בֶּן־ son ben- יַחֲזִיאֵ֑ל of Jahaziel , ya·ḥă·zî·’êl וְעִמּ֕וֹ and with him wə·‘im·mōw שְׁלֹ֥שׁ 300 šə·lōš מֵא֖וֹת . . . mê·’ō·wṯ הַזְּכָרִֽים׃ס men ; haz·zə·ḵā·rîm
