לְבֵ֣ית their families lə·ḇêṯ הִתְיַחֵ֤שׂ in the genealogy , hiṯ·ya·ḥêś וְהַ֨לְוִיִּ֔ם as well as to the Levites wə·hal·wî·yim עֶשְׂרִ֥ים twenty ‘eś·rîm מִבֶּ֛ן years of age mib·ben שָׁנָ֖ה . . . šā·nāh וּלְמָ֑עְלָה or older , ū·lə·mā·‘ə·lāh בְּמִשְׁמְרוֹתֵיהֶ֖ם according to their duties bə·miš·mə·rō·w·ṯê·hem בְּמַחְלְקוֹתֵיהֶֽם׃ [and] divisions . bə·maḥ·lə·qō·w·ṯê·hem 2 Chronicles 31:18 וּלְהִתְיַחֵ֗שׂ The genealogy ū·lə·hiṯ·ya·ḥêś בְּכָל־ included all bə·ḵāl טַפָּ֧ם the little ones , ṭap·pām נְשֵׁיהֶ֛ם wives , nə·šê·hem וּבְנֵיהֶ֥ם sons , ū·ḇə·nê·hem וּבְנוֹתֵיהֶ֖ם and daughters ū·ḇə·nō·w·ṯê·hem לְכָל־ in the whole lə·ḵāl קָהָ֑ל assembly . qā·hāl כִּ֥י For kî בֶאֱמוּנָתָ֖ם they had faithfully ḇe·’ĕ·mū·nā·ṯām יִתְקַדְּשׁוּ־ consecrated themselves yiṯ·qad·də·šū- קֹֽדֶשׁ׃ as holy . qō·ḏeš 2 Chronicles 31:19 הַכֹּהֲנִ֜ים As for the priests , hak·kō·hă·nîm וְלִבְנֵי֩ the descendants wə·liḇ·nê אַהֲרֹ֨ן of Aaron , ’a·hă·rōn בִּשְׂדֵ֨י [who lived on] the farmlands around biś·ḏê מִגְרַ֤שׁ . . . miḡ·raš עָרֵיהֶם֙ each of their cities ‘ā·rê·hem בְּכָל־ or in any other bə·ḵāl עִ֣יר city ‘îr וָעִ֔יר . . . , wā·‘îr אֲנָשִׁ֕ים men ’ă·nā·šîm אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer נִקְּב֖וּ were designated niq·qə·ḇū בְּשֵׁמ֑וֹת by name bə·šê·mō·wṯ לָתֵ֣ת to distribute lā·ṯêṯ מָנ֗וֹת a portion mā·nō·wṯ לְכָל־ to every lə·ḵāl זָכָר֙ male zā·ḵār בַּכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים among the priests bak·kō·hă·nîm וּלְכָל־ and to every ū·lə·ḵāl- בַּלְוִיִּֽם׃ Levite bal·wî·yim הִתְיַחֵ֖שׂ listed by the genealogies . hiṯ·ya·ḥêś 2 Chronicles 31:20 כָּזֹ֛את So this is what kā·zōṯ יְחִזְקִיָּ֖הוּ Hezekiah yə·ḥiz·qî·yā·hū וַיַּ֧עַשׂ did way·ya·‘aś בְּכָל־ throughout bə·ḵāl יְהוּדָ֑ה Judah . yə·hū·ḏāh וַיַּ֨עַשׂ He did way·ya·‘aś הַטּ֤וֹב what was good haṭ·ṭō·wḇ וְהַיָּשָׁר֙ and upright wə·hay·yā·šār וְהָ֣אֱמֶ֔ת and true wə·hā·’ĕ·meṯ לִפְנֵ֖י before lip̄·nê יְהוָ֥ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהָֽיו׃ his God . ’ĕ·lō·hāw 2 Chronicles 31:21 וּבְכָֽל־ He was diligent ū·ḇə·ḵāl לְבָב֥וֹ . . . lə·ḇā·ḇōw עָשָׂ֖ה . . . ‘ā·śāh בְּכָל־ in every bə·ḵāl מַעֲשֶׂ֞ה work ma·‘ă·śeh אֲשֶׁר־ that ’ă·šer- הֵחֵ֣ל׀ he began hê·ḥêl בַּעֲבוֹדַ֣ת in the service ba·‘ă·ḇō·w·ḏaṯ בֵּית־ of the house bêṯ- הָאֱלֹהִ֗ים of God , hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm וּבַתּוֹרָה֙ and in the law ū·ḇat·tō·w·rāh וּבַמִּצְוָ֔ה and the commandments , ū·ḇam·miṣ·wāh לִדְרֹ֖שׁ in order to seek liḏ·rōš לֵֽאלֹהָ֑יו his God . lê·lō·hāw וְהִצְלִֽיחַ׃פ And so he prospered . wə·hiṣ·lî·aḥ 2 Chronicles 32:1 אַחֲרֵ֨י After ’a·ḥă·rê הָאֵ֔לֶּה all these hā·’êl·leh הַדְּבָרִ֤ים acts had·də·ḇā·rîm וְהָאֱמֶת֙ of faithfulness , wə·hā·’ĕ·meṯ סַנְחֵרִ֣יב Sennacherib san·ḥê·rîḇ מֶֽלֶךְ־ king me·leḵ- אַשּׁ֑וּר of Assyria ’aš·šūr בָּ֖א came bā וַיָּבֹ֣א and invaded way·yā·ḇō בִֽיהוּדָ֗ה Judah . ḇî·hū·ḏāh וַיִּ֙חַן֙ He laid siege way·yi·ḥan עַל־ to ‘al- הַבְּצֻר֔וֹת the fortified hab·bə·ṣu·rō·wṯ הֶעָרִ֣ים cities , he·‘ā·rîm וַיֹּ֖אמֶר intending way·yō·mer לְבִקְעָ֥ם to conquer them lə·ḇiq·‘ām
