עַ֥ם the people ‘am הָאָֽרֶץ׃ of the land . hā·’ā·reṣ 2 Chronicles 26:22 וְיֶ֙תֶר֙ As for the rest wə·ye·ṯer דִּבְרֵ֣י of the acts diḇ·rê עֻזִּיָּ֔הוּ of Uzziah , ‘uz·zî·yā·hū הָרִאשֹׁנִ֖ים from beginning hā·ri·šō·nîm וְהָאֲחֲרֹנִ֑ים to end , wə·hå̄·ʾă·ḥă·rō·nīm כָּתַ֛ב they are recorded kā·ṯaḇ הַנָּבִֽיא׃ by the prophet han·nā·ḇî יְשַֽׁעְיָ֥הוּ Isaiah yə·ša‘·yā·hū בֶן־ son ḇen- אָמ֖וֹץ of Amoz . ’ā·mō·wṣ 2 Chronicles 26:23 עֻזִּיָּ֜הוּ And Uzziah ‘uz·zî·yā·hū וַיִּשְׁכַּ֨ב rested way·yiš·kaḇ עִם־ with ‘im- אֲבֹתָ֗יו his fathers ’ă·ḇō·ṯāw וַיִּקְבְּר֨וּ and was buried way·yiq·bə·rū אֹת֤וֹ - ’ō·ṯōw עִם־ near ‘im- אֲבֹתָיו֙ [them] ’ă·ḇō·ṯāw בִּשְׂדֵ֤ה in a field biś·ḏêh הַקְּבוּרָה֙ of burial haq·qə·ḇū·rāh אֲשֶׁ֣ר that [belonged] ’ă·šer לַמְּלָכִ֔ים to the kings ; lam·mə·lā·ḵîm כִּ֥י for kî אָמְר֖וּ [the people] said , ’ā·mə·rū ה֑וּא “ He [was] hū מְצוֹרָ֣ע a leper . ” mə·ṣō·w·rā‘ בְּנ֖וֹ And his son bə·nōw יוֹתָ֥ם Jotham yō·w·ṯām וַיִּמְלֹ֛ךְ reigned way·yim·lōḵ תַּחְתָּֽיו׃פ in his place . taḥ·tāw 2 Chronicles 27:1 יוֹתָ֣ם Jotham yō·w·ṯām עֶשְׂרִ֨ים was twenty-five ‘eś·rîm וְחָמֵ֤שׁ . . . wə·ḥā·mêš בֶּן־ years old ben- שָׁנָה֙ . . . šā·nāh בְּמָלְכ֔וֹ when he became king , bə·mā·lə·ḵōw מָלַ֖ךְ and he reigned mā·laḵ בִּֽירוּשָׁלִָ֑ם in Jerusalem bî·rū·šā·lim וְשֵׁשׁ־ sixteen wə·šêš- עֶשְׂרֵ֣ה . . . ‘eś·rêh שָׁנָ֔ה years . šā·nāh אִמּ֔וֹ His mother’s ’im·mōw וְשֵׁ֣ם name wə·šêm יְרוּשָׁ֖ה was Jerushah yə·rū·šāh בַּת־ daughter baṯ- צָדֽוֹק׃ of Zadok . ṣā·ḏō·wq 2 Chronicles 27:2 וַיַּ֨עַשׂ And he did way·ya·‘aś הַיָּשָׁ֜ר [what was] right hay·yā·šār בְּעֵינֵ֣י in the eyes bə·‘ê·nê יְהוָ֗ה of YHWH , Yah·weh כְּכֹ֤ל just as kə·ḵōl אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- אָבִ֔יו his father ’ā·ḇîw עֻזִּיָּ֣הוּ Uzziah ‘uz·zî·yā·hū עָשָׂה֙ had done . ‘ā·śāh רַ֕ק In addition , raq לֹא־ he did not lō- בָ֖א enter ḇā אֶל־ . . . ’el- הֵיכַ֣ל the temple hê·ḵal יְהוָ֑ה of YHWH . Yah·weh הָעָ֖ם But the people hā·‘ām וְע֥וֹד still wə·‘ō·wḏ מַשְׁחִיתִֽים׃ behaved corruptly . maš·ḥî·ṯîm 2 Chronicles 27:3 ה֗וּא Jotham hū בָּנָ֛ה rebuilt bā·nāh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָעֶלְי֑וֹן the Upper hā·‘el·yō·wn שַׁ֥עַר Gate ša·‘ar בֵּית־ of the house bêṯ- יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH , Yah·weh בָּנָ֖ה and he worked bā·nāh לָרֹֽב׃ extensively lā·rōḇ וּבְחוֹמַ֥ת on the wall ū·ḇə·ḥō·w·maṯ הָעֹ֛פֶל at [the hill of] Ophel . hā·‘ō·p̄el 2 Chronicles 27:4 בָּנָ֖ה He also built bā·nāh וְעָרִ֥ים cities wə·‘ā·rîm בְּהַר־ in the hill country bə·har- יְהוּדָ֑ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh בִּֽירָנִיּ֖וֹת and fortresses bî·rā·nî·yō·wṯ
