וּבַפְּלִשְׁתִּֽים׃ and among the Philistines . ū·ḇap·pə·liš·tîm 2 Chronicles 26:7 הָֽאֱלֹהִ֜ים God hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm וַיַּעְזְרֵ֨הוּ helped him way·ya‘·zə·rê·hū עַל־ against ‘al- פְּלִשְׁתִּ֧ים the Philistines , pə·liš·tîm וְעַל־ against wə·‘al- הָעַרְבִיִּים the Arabs hå̄·ʿar·ḇī·yīm הַיֹּשְׁבִ֥ים living hay·yō·šə·ḇîm בְּגוּר־ vvv bə·ḡūr- בָּ֖עַל in Gur-baal , bā·‘al וְהַמְּעוּנִֽים׃ and against the Meunites . wə·ham·mə·‘ū·nîm 2 Chronicles 26:8 הָֽעַמּוֹנִ֛ים The Ammonites hā·‘am·mō·w·nîm וַיִּתְּנ֧וּ brought way·yit·tə·nū מִנְחָ֖ה tribute min·ḥāh לְעֻזִּיָּ֑הוּ to Uzziah , lə·‘uz·zî·yā·hū שְׁמוֹ֙ and his fame šə·mōw וַיֵּ֤לֶךְ spread way·yê·leḵ עַד־ as far ‘aḏ- לְב֣וֹא as the border lə·ḇō·w מִצְרַ֔יִם of Egypt , miṣ·ra·yim כִּ֥י for kî עַד־ he had become ‘aḏ- לְמָֽעְלָה׃ exceedingly lə·mā·‘ə·lāh הֶחֱזִ֖יק powerful . he·ḥĕ·zîq 2 Chronicles 26:9 עֻזִּיָּ֤הוּ Uzziah ‘uz·zî·yā·hū וַיִּ֨בֶן built way·yi·ḇen מִגְדָּלִים֙ towers miḡ·dā·lîm בִּיר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם in Jerusalem bî·rū·šā·lim עַל־ at ‘al- הַפִּנָּ֛ה the Corner hap·pin·nāh וְעַל־ . . . wə·‘al- שַׁ֧עַר Gate , ša·‘ar הַגַּ֖יְא the Valley hag·gay וְעַל־ . . . wə·‘al- שַׁ֥עַר Gate , ša·‘ar הַמִּקְצ֑וֹעַ and the angle in the wall , ham·miq·ṣō·w·a‘ וַֽיְחַזְּקֵֽם׃ and he fortified them . way·ḥaz·zə·qêm 2 Chronicles 26:10 כִּ֤י Since kî הָ֣יָה he had hā·yāh ל֔וֹ lōw רַבִּ֔ים much rab·bîm מִקְנֶה־ livestock miq·neh- וּבַשְּׁפֵלָ֖ה in the foothills ū·ḇaš·šə·p̄ê·lāh וּבַמִּישׁ֑וֹר and in the plain , ū·ḇam·mî·šō·wr וַיִּ֨בֶן he built way·yi·ḇen מִגְדָּלִ֜ים towers miḡ·dā·lîm בַּמִּדְבָּ֗ר in the desert bam·miḏ·bār וַיַּחְצֹב֙ and dug way·yaḥ·ṣōḇ רַּב֙ many raḇ בֹּר֣וֹת cisterns . bō·rō·wṯ כִּֽי־ And since kî- הָיָֽה׃ס he was hā·yāh אֹהֵ֥ב a lover ’ō·hêḇ אֲדָמָ֖ה of the soil , ’ă·ḏā·māh אִכָּרִ֣ים he had farmers ’ik·kā·rîm וְכֹֽרְמִ֗ים and vinedressers wə·ḵō·rə·mîm בֶּהָרִים֙ in the hill country be·hā·rîm וּבַכַּרְמֶ֔ל and in the fertile fields . ū·ḇak·kar·mel 2 Chronicles 26:11 לְעֻזִּיָּ֡הוּ Uzziah lə·‘uz·zî·yā·hū וַיְהִ֣י had way·hî חַיִל֩ an army ḥa·yil עֹשֵׂ֨ה ready ‘ō·śêh מִלְחָמָ֜ה for battle mil·ḥā·māh יוֹצְאֵ֧י that went out yō·wṣ·’ê צָבָ֣א to war ṣā·ḇā לִגְד֗וּד by assigned divisions liḡ·ḏūḏ פְּקֻדָּתָ֔ם . . . , pə·qud·dā·ṯām בְּמִסְפַּר֙ as recorded bə·mis·par בְּיַד֙ by bə·yaḏ יְעוּאֵל Jeiel yə·ʿū·ʾēl הַסּוֹפֵ֔ר the scribe has·sō·w·p̄êr וּמַעֲשֵׂיָ֖הוּ and Maaseiah ū·ma·‘ă·śê·yā·hū הַשּׁוֹטֵ֑ר the officer haš·šō·w·ṭêr עַ֚ל under ‘al יַד־ the direction yaḏ- חֲנַנְיָ֔הוּ of Hananiah , ḥă·nan·yā·hū הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ one of the royal ham·me·leḵ מִשָּׂרֵ֖י officers . miś·śā·rê 2 Chronicles 26:12 כֹּ֠ל The total kōl מִסְפַּ֞ר number mis·par הָאָבוֹת֙ of family hā·’ā·ḇō·wṯ רָאשֵׁ֤י leaders rā·šê
