שְׁלֹמֹ֛ה Solomon šə·lō·mōh וַיַּ֨עַשׂ made way·ya·‘aś מָאתַ֥יִם two hundred mā·ṯa·yim צִנָּ֖ה large shields ṣin·nāh שָׁח֑וּט of hammered šā·ḥūṭ זָהָ֣ב gold ; zā·hāḇ שֵׁ֤שׁ six šêš מֵאוֹת֙ hundred [shekels] mê·’ō·wṯ שָׁח֔וּט of hammered šā·ḥūṭ זָהָ֣ב gold zā·hāḇ יַעֲלֶ֖ה went ya·‘ă·leh עַל־ into ‘al- הָאֶחָֽת׃ each hā·’e·ḥāṯ הַצִּנָּ֥ה shield . haṣ·ṣin·nāh 2 Chronicles 9:16 וּשְׁלֹשׁ־ [He also made] three ū·šə·lōš- מֵא֤וֹת hundred mê·’ō·wṯ מָֽגִנִּים֙ small shields mā·ḡin·nîm שָׁח֔וּט of hammered šā·ḥūṭ זָהָ֣ב gold ; zā·hāḇ שְׁלֹ֤שׁ three šə·lōš מֵאוֹת֙ hundred [shekels] mê·’ō·wṯ זָהָ֔ב of gold zā·hāḇ יַעֲלֶ֖ה went ya·‘ă·leh עַל־ into ‘al- הָאֶחָ֑ת each hā·’e·ḥāṯ הַמָּגֵ֣ן shield . ham·mā·ḡên הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ And the king ham·me·leḵ וַיִּתְּנֵ֣ם put them way·yit·tə·nêm בְּבֵ֖ית in the House bə·ḇêṯ יַ֥עַר of the Forest ya·‘ar הַלְּבָנֽוֹן׃פ of Lebanon . hal·lə·ḇā·nō·wn 2 Chronicles 9:17 הַמֶּ֛לֶךְ Additionally, the king ham·me·leḵ וַיַּ֧עַשׂ made way·ya·‘aś גָּד֑וֹל a great gā·ḏō·wl כִּסֵּא־ throne kis·sê- שֵׁ֖ן of ivory šên וַיְצַפֵּ֖הוּ and overlaid it way·ṣap·pê·hū טָהֽוֹר׃ with pure ṭā·hō·wr זָהָ֥ב gold . zā·hāḇ 2 Chronicles 9:18 לַ֠כִּסֵּא The throne lak·kis·sê וְשֵׁ֣שׁ had six wə·šêš מַעֲל֣וֹת steps , ma·‘ă·lō·wṯ וְכֶ֨בֶשׁ and a footstool wə·ḵe·ḇeš בַּזָּהָ֤ב of gold baz·zā·hāḇ לַכִּסֵּא֙ vvv lak·kis·sê מָאֳחָזִ֔ים was attached to it . mā·’o·ḥā·zîm וְיָד֛וֹת There were armrests wə·yā·ḏō·wṯ מִזֶּ֥ה on both sides miz·zeh וּמִזֶּ֖ה . . . ū·miz·zeh עַל־ of ‘al- מְק֣וֹם the seat mə·qō·wm הַשָּׁ֑בֶת . . . , haš·šā·ḇeṯ וּשְׁנַ֣יִם - ū·šə·na·yim אֲרָי֔וֹת with a lion ’ă·rā·yō·wṯ עֹמְדִ֖ים standing ‘ō·mə·ḏîm אֵ֥צֶל beside ’ê·ṣel הַיָּדֽוֹת׃ each armrest . hay·yā·ḏō·wṯ 2 Chronicles 9:19 וּשְׁנֵ֧ים Twelve ū·šə·nêm עָשָׂ֣ר . . . ‘ā·śār אֲרָי֗וֹת lions ’ă·rā·yō·wṯ עֹמְדִ֥ים stood ‘ō·mə·ḏîm שָׁ֛ם - šām עַל־ on ‘al- שֵׁ֥שׁ the six šêš הַֽמַּעֲל֖וֹת steps , ham·ma·‘ă·lō·wṯ מִזֶּ֣ה one at either end miz·zeh וּמִזֶּ֑ה of each [step] . ū·miz·zeh לֹא־ Nothing lō- כֵ֖ן like [this] ḵên נַעֲשָׂ֥ה had ever been made na·‘ă·śāh לְכָל־ for any lə·ḵāl מַמְלָכָֽה׃ kingdom . mam·lā·ḵāh 2 Chronicles 9:20 וְ֠כֹל All wə·ḵōl הַמֶּ֤לֶךְ King ham·me·leḵ שְׁלֹמֹה֙ Solomon’s šə·lō·mōh מַשְׁקֵ֨ה drinking maš·qêh כְּלֵ֞י cups kə·lê זָהָ֔ב were gold , zā·hāḇ וְכֹ֗ל and all wə·ḵōl כְּלֵ֛י the utensils kə·lê בֵּֽית־ of the House bêṯ- יַ֥עַר of the Forest ya·‘ar הַלְּבָנ֖וֹן of Lebanon hal·lə·ḇā·nō·wn סָג֑וּר were pure sā·ḡūr זָהָ֣ב gold . zā·hāḇ
