אַשְׁלִ֖יךְ and I will banish ’aš·lîḵ מֵעַ֣ל from mê·‘al פָּנָ֑י My presence pā·nāy וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- הַזֶּה֙ this haz·zeh הַבַּ֤יִת temple hab·ba·yiṯ אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer הִקְדַּ֣שְׁתִּי I have sanctified hiq·daš·tî לִשְׁמִ֔י for My Name . liš·mî וְאֶתְּנֶ֛נּוּ I will make it wə·’et·tə·nen·nū לְמָשָׁ֥ל an object of scorn lə·mā·šāl וְלִשְׁנִינָ֖ה and ridicule wə·liš·nî·nāh בְּכָל־ among all bə·ḵāl הָעַמִּֽים׃ the peoples . hā·‘am·mîm 2 Chronicles 7:21 הַזֶּה֙ And [when] this haz·zeh וְהַבַּ֤יִת temple wə·hab·ba·yiṯ אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer הָיָ֣ה has become hā·yāh עֶלְי֔וֹן a heap of rubble , ‘el·yō·wn לְכָל־ all lə·ḵāl עֹבֵ֥ר who pass ‘ō·ḇêr עָלָ֖יו by it ‘ā·lāw יִשֹּׁ֑ם will be appalled yiš·šōm וְאָמַ֗ר and say , wə·’ā·mar בַּמֶּ֨ה ‘ Why bam·meh יְהוָה֙ has YHWH Yah·weh עָשָׂ֤ה done ‘ā·śāh כָּ֔כָה such a thing kā·ḵāh הַזֹּ֖את to this haz·zōṯ לָאָ֥רֶץ land lā·’ā·reṣ הַזֶּֽה׃ and to this haz·zeh וְלַבַּ֥יִת temple ? ’ wə·lab·ba·yiṯ 2 Chronicles 7:22 וְאָמְר֗וּ And [others] will answer , wə·’ā·mə·rū עַל֩ ‘ Because ‘al אֲשֶׁ֨ר - ’ă·šer עָֽזְב֜וּ they have forsaken ‘ā·zə·ḇū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יְהוָ֣ה׀ YHWH , Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֣י the God ’ĕ·lō·hê אֲבֹתֵיהֶ֗ם of their fathers , ’ă·ḇō·ṯê·hem אֲשֶׁ֣ר who ’ă·šer הוֹצִיאָם֮ brought them hō·w·ṣî·’ām מֵאֶ֣רֶץ out of the land mê·’e·reṣ מִצְרַיִם֒ of Egypt , miṣ·ra·yim וַֽיַּחֲזִ֙יקוּ֙ and have embraced way·ya·ḥă·zî·qū אֲחֵרִ֔ים other ’ă·ḥê·rîm בֵּאלֹהִ֣ים gods , bê·lō·hîm וַיִּשְׁתַּחֲו֥וּ worshiping way·yiš·ta·ḥă·wū לָהֶ֖ם lā·hem וַיַּֽעַבְד֑וּם and serving them — way·ya·‘aḇ·ḏūm עַל־ because of ‘al- כֵּן֙ this , kên הֵבִ֣יא He has brought hê·ḇî כָּל־ all kāl- הַזֹּֽאת׃פ this haz·zōṯ הָרָעָ֖ה disaster hā·rā·‘āh עֲלֵיהֶ֔ם upon them . ’” ‘ă·lê·hem אֵ֥ת - ’êṯ 2 Chronicles 8:1 וַיְהִ֞י Now way·hî מִקֵּ֣ץ׀ at the end miq·qêṣ עֶשְׂרִ֣ים of the twenty ‘eś·rîm שָׁנָ֗ה years šā·nāh אֲשֶׁ֨ר during which ’ă·šer שְׁלֹמֹ֛ה Solomon šə·lō·mōh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בָּנָ֧ה had built bā·nāh בֵּ֥ית the house bêṯ יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH Yah·weh וְאֶת־ and wə·’eṯ- בֵּיתֽוֹ׃ his own palace , bê·ṯōw 2 Chronicles 8:2 לִשְׁלֹמֹ֔ה Solomon liš·lō·mōh בָּנָ֥ה rebuilt bā·nāh וְהֶעָרִ֗ים the cities wə·he·‘ā·rîm אֲשֶׁ֨ר - ’ă·šer חוּרָם֙ Hiram ḥū·rām נָתַ֤ן had given nā·ṯan שְׁלֹמֹ֖ה him šə·lō·mōh אֹתָ֑ם - ’ō·ṯām וַיּ֥וֹשֶׁב and settled way·yō·wō·šeḇ בְּנֵ֥י Israelites bə·nê יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ . . . yiś·rā·’êl שָׁ֖ם there šām אֶת־ - . ’eṯ- 2 Chronicles 8:3 שְׁלֹמֹה֙ Then Solomon šə·lō·mōh וַיֵּ֤לֶךְ went way·yê·leḵ
