עֹמְדִ֗ים stood ‘ō·mə·ḏîm עַל־ at ‘al- מִשְׁמְרוֹתָ֣ם their posts , miš·mə·rō·w·ṯām וְהַלְוִיִּ֞ם as did the Levites wə·hal·wî·yim שִׁ֤יר with the musical šîr בִּכְלֵי־ instruments biḵ·lê- יְהוָה֙ of YHWH , Yah·weh אֲשֶׁ֨ר which ’ă·šer הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ King ham·me·leḵ דָּוִ֣יד David dā·wîḏ עָשָׂ֜ה had made ‘ā·śāh לְהֹד֤וֹת for giving thanks lə·hō·ḏō·wṯ לַיהוָה֙ to YHWH Yah·weh דָּוִ֖יד and with which David dā·wîḏ בְּהַלֵּ֥ל had offered praise, saying , bə·hal·lêl כִּֽי־ “ For kî- חַסְדּ֔וֹ His loving devotion ḥas·dōw לְעוֹלָ֣ם endures forever . ” lə·‘ō·w·lām בְּיָדָ֑ם - bə·yā·ḏām נֶגְדָּ֔ם Across from the Levites , neḡ·dām וְהַכֹּהֲנִים֙ the priests wə·hak·kō·hă·nîm מַחֲצֹצְרִים sounded trumpets , ma·ḥă·ṣō·ṣə·rīm וְכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל the Israelites yiś·rā·’êl עֹמְדִֽים׃ס were standing . ‘ō·mə·ḏîm 2 Chronicles 7:7 שְׁלֹמֹ֗ה Then Solomon šə·lō·mōh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיְקַדֵּ֣שׁ consecrated way·qad·dêš תּ֤וֹךְ the middle tō·wḵ הֶֽחָצֵר֙ of the courtyard he·ḥā·ṣêr אֲשֶׁר֙ - ’ă·šer לִפְנֵ֣י in front lip̄·nê בֵית־ of the house ḇêṯ- יְהוָ֔ה of YHWH , Yah·weh כִּֽי־ and kî- שָׁם֙ there šām עָ֤שָׂה he offered ‘ā·śāh הָֽעֹל֔וֹת the burnt offerings hā·‘ō·lō·wṯ וְאֵ֖ת - wə·’êṯ חֶלְבֵ֣י and the fat ḥel·ḇê הַשְּׁלָמִ֑ים of the peace offerings , haš·šə·lā·mîm כִּֽי־ since kî- הַנְּחֹ֙שֶׁת֙ the bronze han·nə·ḥō·šeṯ מִזְבַּ֤ח altar miz·baḥ שְׁלֹמֹ֔ה [he] šə·lō·mōh עָשָׂ֣ה had made ‘ā·śāh אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer יָכ֗וֹל could yā·ḵō·wl לֹ֣א not lō לְהָכִ֛יל contain lə·hā·ḵîl אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַמִּנְחָ֖ה [all these offerings] ham·min·ḥāh וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- הָעֹלָ֥ה - hā·‘ō·lāh וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- הַחֲלָבִֽים׃ - . ha·ḥă·lā·ḇîm 2 Chronicles 7:8 הַהִ֜יא So at that ha·hî בָּעֵ֨ת time bā·‘êṯ שְׁלֹמֹ֣ה Solomon šə·lō·mōh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וְכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl יִשְׂרָאֵ֣ל Israel yiś·rā·’êl עִמּ֔וֹ with him — ‘im·mōw מְאֹ֑ד a very mə·’ōḏ גָּד֣וֹל great gā·ḏō·wl קָהָ֖ל assembly of people qā·hāl מִלְּב֥וֹא vvv mil·lə·ḇō·w חֲמָ֖ת from Lebo-hamath ḥă·māṯ עַד־ to ‘aḏ- נַ֥חַל the Brook na·ḥal מִצְרָֽיִם׃ of Egypt — miṣ·rā·yim וַיַּ֣עַשׂ kept way·ya·‘aś הֶ֠חָג the feast he·ḥāḡ שִׁבְעַ֤ת for seven šiḇ·‘aṯ יָמִים֙ days . yā·mîm 2 Chronicles 7:9 הַשְּׁמִינִ֖י On the eighth haš·šə·mî·nî בַּיּ֥וֹם day bay·yō·wm וַֽיַּעֲשׂ֛וּ they held way·ya·‘ă·śū עֲצָ֑רֶת a solemn assembly , ‘ă·ṣā·reṯ כִּ֣י׀ for kî חֲנֻכַּ֣ת the dedication ḥă·nuk·kaṯ הַמִּזְבֵּ֗חַ of the altar ham·miz·bê·aḥ עָשׂוּ֙ . . . ‘ā·śū שִׁבְעַ֣ת had lasted seven šiḇ·‘aṯ יָמִ֔ים days , yā·mîm וְהֶחָ֖ג and the feast wə·he·ḥāḡ שִׁבְעַ֥ת seven šiḇ·‘aṯ יָמִֽים׃ days more . yā·mîm
