דָּוִ֤יד David dā·wîḏ וַיֹּ֨אמֶר said way·yō·mer לְכָל־ to the whole lə·ḵāl הַקָּהָ֔ל assembly , haq·qā·hāl בְנִ֥י “ My son ḇə·nî שְׁלֹמֹ֨ה Solomon , šə·lō·mōh אֶחָ֛ד the one ’e·ḥāḏ בּ֥וֹ whom bōw אֱלֹהִ֖ים God ’ĕ·lō·hîm בָּֽחַר־ has chosen , bā·ḥar- נַ֣עַר is young na·‘ar וָרָ֑ךְ and inexperienced . wā·rāḵ וְהַמְּלָאכָ֣ה The task wə·ham·mə·lā·ḵāh גְדוֹלָ֔ה is great ḡə·ḏō·w·lāh כִּ֣י because kî הַבִּירָ֔ה this palace hab·bî·rāh לֹ֤א is not lō לְאָדָם֙ for man , lə·’ā·ḏām כִּ֖י but kî לַיהוָ֥ה for YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהִֽים׃ God . ’ĕ·lō·hîm 1 Chronicles 29:2 וּֽכְכָל־ Now with all ū·ḵə·ḵāl- כֹּחִ֞י my ability kō·ḥî הֲכִינ֣וֹתִי I have made provision hă·ḵî·nō·w·ṯî לְבֵית־ for the house lə·ḇêṯ- אֱלֹהַ֗י of my God — ’ĕ·lō·hay הַזָּהָ֣ב׀ gold haz·zā·hāḇ לַ֠זָּהָב for the gold articles , laz·zā·hāḇ וְהַכֶּ֨סֶף silver wə·hak·ke·sep̄ לַכֶּ֜סֶף for the silver , lak·ke·sep̄ וְהַנְּחֹ֣שֶׁת bronze wə·han·nə·ḥō·šeṯ לַנְּחֹ֗שֶׁת for the bronze , lan·nə·ḥō·šeṯ הַבַּרְזֶל֙ iron hab·bar·zel לַבַּרְזֶ֔ל for the iron , lab·bar·zel וְהָעֵצִ֖ים and wood wə·hā·‘ê·ṣîm לָעֵצִ֑ים for the wood , lā·‘ê·ṣîm אַבְנֵי־ as well as onyx ’aḇ·nê- שֹׁ֨הַם . . . šō·ham וּמִלּוּאִ֜ים for the settings , ū·mil·lū·’îm אַבְנֵי־ turquoise ’aḇ·nê- פ֣וּךְ . . . , p̄ūḵ וְרִקְמָ֗ה stones of various colors , wə·riq·māh וְכֹ֨ל all kinds wə·ḵōl יְקָרָ֛ה of precious yə·qā·rāh אֶ֧בֶן stones , ’e·ḇen וְאַבְנֵי־ and slabs wə·’aḇ·nê- שַׁ֖יִשׁ of marble — ša·yiš לָרֹֽב׃ all in abundance . lā·rōḇ 1 Chronicles 29:3 וְע֗וֹד Moreover , wə·‘ō·wḏ בִּרְצוֹתִי֙ because of my delight bir·ṣō·w·ṯî בְּבֵ֣ית in the house bə·ḇêṯ אֱלֹהַ֔י of my God , ’ĕ·lō·hay יֶשׁ־ . . . yeš- לִ֥י lî נָתַ֤תִּי I now give nā·ṯat·tî לְבֵית־ for [it] lə·ḇêṯ- אֱלֹהַי֙ . . . ’ĕ·lō·hay סְגֻלָּ֖ה my personal treasures sə·ḡul·lāh זָהָ֣ב of gold zā·hāḇ וָכָ֑סֶף and silver , wā·ḵā·sep̄ לְמַ֔עְלָה over and above lə·ma‘·lāh מִכָּל־ all mik·kāl הֲכִינ֖וֹתִי that I have provided hă·ḵî·nō·w·ṯî הַקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃ for this holy haq·qō·ḏeš לְבֵ֥ית temple : lə·ḇêṯ 1 Chronicles 29:4 שְׁלֹ֧שֶׁת three šə·lō·šeṯ אֲלָפִ֛ים thousand ’ă·lā·p̄îm כִּכְּרֵ֥י talents kik·kə·rê זָהָ֖ב of gold zā·hāḇ מִזְּהַ֣ב ( the gold miz·zə·haḇ אוֹפִ֑יר of Ophir ) ’ō·w·p̄îr וְשִׁבְעַ֨ת and seven wə·šiḇ·‘aṯ אֲלָפִ֤ים thousand ’ă·lā·p̄îm כִּכַּר־ talents kik·kar- מְזֻקָּ֔ק of refined mə·zuq·qāq כֶּ֙סֶף֙ silver , ke·sep̄ לָט֖וּחַ to overlay lā·ṭū·aḥ קִיר֥וֹת the walls qî·rō·wṯ הַבָּתִּֽים׃ of the buildings , hab·bāt·tîm 1 Chronicles 29:5 לַזָּהָ֤ב vvv laz·zā·hāḇ לַזָּהָב֙ for the gold work laz·zā·hāḇ וְלַכֶּ֣סֶף and the silver work wə·lak·ke·sep̄ לַכֶּ֔סֶף . . . , lak·ke·sep̄ וּלְכָל־ and for all ū·lə·ḵāl- מְלָאכָ֖ה the work mə·lā·ḵāh בְּיַ֣ד to be done by bə·yaḏ חָרָשִׁ֑ים the craftsmen . ḥā·rā·šîm וּמִ֣י Now who ū·mî
