מַחֲצֹצְרִים were to blow ma·ḥă·ṣō·ṣə·rīm בַּחֲצֹ֣צְר֔וֹת the trumpets ba·ḥă·ṣō·ṣə·rō·wṯ לִפְנֵ֖י before lip̄·nê אֲר֣וֹן the ark ’ă·rō·wn הָֽאֱלֹהִ֑ים of God . hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm וְעֹבֵ֤ד vvv wə·‘ō·ḇêḏ אֱדֹם֙ Obed-edom ’ĕ·ḏōm וִֽיחִיָּ֔ה and Jehiah wî·ḥî·yāh שֹׁעֲרִ֖ים were also to be guardians šō·‘ă·rîm לָאָרֽוֹן׃ of the ark . lā·’ā·rō·wn 1 Chronicles 15:25 וַיְהִ֥י So way·hî דָוִ֛יד David , ḏā·wîḏ וְזִקְנֵ֥י the elders wə·ziq·nê יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl וְשָׂרֵ֣י and the commanders wə·śā·rê הָאֲלָפִ֑ים of thousands hā·’ă·lā·p̄îm הַהֹֽלְכִ֗ים went ha·hō·lə·ḵîm בְּשִׂמְחָֽה׃ס with rejoicing bə·śim·ḥāh לְֽהַעֲל֞וֹת to bring lə·ha·‘ă·lō·wṯ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֲר֧וֹן the ark ’ă·rō·wn בְּרִית־ of the covenant bə·rîṯ- יְהוָ֛ה of YHWH Yah·weh מִן־ from min- בֵּ֥ית the house bêṯ עֹבֵֽד־ vvv ‘ō·ḇêḏ- אֱדֹ֖ם of Obed-edom . ’ĕ·ḏōm 1 Chronicles 15:26 הָֽאֱלֹהִ֔ים And because God hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm אֶ֨ת־ - ’eṯ- בֶּעְזֹ֣ר helped be‘·zōr וַֽיְהִי֙ . . . way·hî הַלְוִיִּ֔ם the Levites hal·wî·yim נֹשְׂאֵ֖י who were carrying nō·śə·’ê אֲר֣וֹן the ark ’ă·rō·wn בְּרִית־ of the covenant bə·rîṯ- יְהוָ֑ה of YHWH , Yah·weh וַיִּזְבְּח֥וּ they sacrificed way·yiz·bə·ḥū שִׁבְעָֽה־ seven šiḇ·‘āh- פָרִ֖ים bulls p̄ā·rîm וְשִׁבְעָ֥ה and seven wə·šiḇ·‘āh אֵילִֽים׃ rams . ’ê·lîm 1 Chronicles 15:27 וְדָוִ֞יד Now David wə·ḏā·wîḏ מְכֻרְבָּ֣ל׀ was dressed mə·ḵur·bāl בִּמְעִ֣יל in a robe bim·‘îl בּ֗וּץ of fine linen , būṣ וְכָל־ as were all wə·ḵāl הַלְוִיִּם֙ the Levites hal·wî·yim הַנֹּשְׂאִ֣ים who were carrying han·nō·śə·’îm אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָאָר֔וֹן the ark , hā·’ā·rō·wn וְהַמְשֹׁ֣רְרִ֔ים as well as the singers wə·ham·šō·rə·rîm וּכְנַנְיָ֛ה and Chenaniah , ū·ḵə·nan·yāh הַשַּׂ֥ר the director haś·śar הַמַּשָּׂ֖א of music ham·maś·śā הַמְשֹֽׁרְרִ֑ים for the singers . ham·šō·rə·rîm וְעַל־ . . . wə·‘al- דָּוִ֖יד David dā·wîḏ בָּֽד׃ also wore a linen bāḏ אֵפ֥וֹד ephod . ’ê·p̄ō·wḏ 1 Chronicles 15:28 וְכָל־ So all wə·ḵāl יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל Israel yiś·rā·’êl מַעֲלִים֙ brought up ma·‘ă·lîm אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֲר֣וֹן the ark ’ă·rō·wn בְּרִית־ of the covenant bə·rîṯ- יְהוָ֔ה of YHWH Yah·weh בִּתְרוּעָה֙ with shouting , biṯ·rū·‘āh וּבְק֣וֹל with the sounding ū·ḇə·qō·wl שׁוֹפָ֔ר of rams’ horns šō·w·p̄ār וּבַחֲצֹצְר֖וֹת and trumpets , ū·ḇa·ḥă·ṣō·ṣə·rō·wṯ וּבִמְצִלְתָּ֑יִם and with cymbals ū·ḇim·ṣil·tā·yim מַשְׁמִעִ֕ים and the music maš·mi·‘îm בִּנְבָלִ֖ים of harps bin·ḇā·lîm וְכִנֹּרֽוֹת׃ and lyres . wə·ḵin·nō·rō·wṯ 1 Chronicles 15:29 אֲרוֹן֙ As the ark ’ă·rō·wn בְּרִ֣ית of the covenant bə·rîṯ יְהוָ֔ה of YHWH Yah·weh וַיְהִ֗י was way·hî בָּ֖א entering bā עַד־ . . . ‘aḏ- עִ֣יר the City ‘îr דָּוִ֑יד of David , dā·wîḏ שָׁא֜וּל Saul’s šā·’ūl בַּת־ daughter baṯ- וּמִיכַ֨ל Michal ū·mî·ḵal
