וְיוֹאֵ֣ל Joel , wə·yō·w·’êl שְׁמַֽעְיָ֔ה Shemaiah , šə·ma‘·yāh וֶאֱלִיאֵ֖ל Eliel , we·’ĕ·lî·’êl וְעַמִּינָדָֽב׃ and Amminadab . wə·‘am·mî·nā·ḏāḇ 1 Chronicles 15:12 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר And he said way·yō·mer לָהֶ֔ם to them , lā·hem אַתֶּ֛ם “ You ’at·tem רָאשֵׁ֥י are the heads rā·šê לַלְוִיִּ֑ם of the Levitical lal·wî·yim הָאָב֖וֹת families . hā·’ā·ḇō·wṯ אַתֶּ֣ם You ’at·tem וַאֲחֵיכֶ֔ם and your relatives wa·’ă·ḥê·ḵem הִֽתְקַדְּשׁוּ֙ must consecrate yourselves hiṯ·qad·də·šū וְהַֽעֲלִיתֶ֗ם so that you may bring wə·ha·‘ă·lî·ṯem אֵ֣ת - ’êṯ אֲר֤וֹן the ark ’ă·rō·wn יְהוָה֙ of YHWH , Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֣י the God ’ĕ·lō·hê יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl אֶל־ to [the place] ’el- הֲכִינ֖וֹתִי I have prepared hă·ḵî·nō·w·ṯî לֽוֹ׃ for it . lōw 1 Chronicles 15:13 כִּ֛י It was because kî אַתֶּ֑ם you Levites ’at·tem לֹ֣א were not with us lō לְמַבָּרִ֥אשׁוֹנָ֖ה the first time lə·mab·bā·ri·šō·w·nāh יְהוָ֤ה that YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֙ינוּ֙ our God ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū פָּרַ֨ץ burst forth in anger pā·raṣ בָּ֔נוּ against us . bā·nū כִּי־ For kî- לֹ֥א we did not lō דְרַשְׁנֻ֖הוּ consult Him ḏə·raš·nu·hū כַּמִּשְׁפָּֽט׃ about the proper order . ” kam·miš·pāṭ 1 Chronicles 15:14 הַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים So the priests hak·kō·hă·nîm וְהַלְוִיִּ֑ם and Levites wə·hal·wî·yim וַיִּֽתְקַדְּשׁ֔וּ consecrated themselves way·yiṯ·qad·də·šū לְהַעֲל֕וֹת to bring up lə·ha·‘ă·lō·wṯ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֲר֥וֹן the ark ’ă·rō·wn יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH , Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֥י the God ’ĕ·lō·hê יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ of Israel . yiś·rā·’êl 1 Chronicles 15:15 בְנֵֽי־ And the Levites ḇə·nê- הַלְוִיִּ֗ם . . . hal·wî·yim אֵ֚ת - ’êṯ וַיִּשְׂא֣וּ carried way·yiś·’ū אֲר֣וֹן the ark ’ă·rō·wn הָֽאֱלֹהִ֔ים of God hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm בִּכְתֵפָ֥ם on their shoulders biḵ·ṯê·p̄ām בַּמֹּט֖וֹת with the poles bam·mō·ṭō·wṯ עֲלֵיהֶֽם׃פ . . . , ‘ă·lê·hem כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר as ka·’ă·šer מֹשֶׁ֖ה Moses mō·šeh צִוָּ֥ה had commanded ṣiw·wāh כִּדְבַ֣ר in accordance with the word kiḏ·ḇar יְהוָ֑ה of YHWH . Yah·weh 1 Chronicles 15:16 דָּוִיד֮ David also dā·wîḏ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר told way·yō·mer לְשָׂרֵ֣י the leaders lə·śā·rê הַלְוִיִּם֒ of the Levites hal·wî·yim לְהַֽעֲמִ֗יד to appoint lə·ha·‘ă·mîḏ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֲחֵיהֶם֙ their relatives ’ă·ḥê·hem הַמְשֹׁ֣רְרִ֔ים as singers ham·šō·rə·rîm לְהָרִֽים־ to lift up lə·hā·rîm- בְּק֖וֹל their voices bə·qō·wl לְשִׂמְחָֽה׃פ with joy , lə·śim·ḥāh שִׁ֛יר accompanied by musical šîr בִּכְלֵי־ instruments — biḵ·lê- נְבָלִ֥ים harps , nə·ḇā·lîm וְכִנֹּר֖וֹת lyres , wə·ḵin·nō·rō·wṯ וּמְצִלְתָּ֑יִם and cymbals ū·mə·ṣil·tā·yim מַשְׁמִיעִ֥ים . . . . maš·mî·‘îm 1 Chronicles 15:17 הַלְוִיִּ֗ם So the Levites hal·wî·yim אֵ֚ת - ’êṯ וַיַּעֲמִ֣ידוּ appointed way·ya·‘ă·mî·ḏū הֵימָ֣ן Heman hê·mān בֶּן־ son ben- יוֹאֵ֔ל of Joel ; yō·w·’êl וּמִ֨ן־ from ū·min- אֶחָ֔יו his brothers , ’e·ḥāw
