1 Chronicles 11:13 הֽוּא־ He hū- הָיָ֨ה was hā·yāh עִם־ with ‘im- דָּוִ֜יד David dā·wîḏ בַּפַּ֣ס vvv bap·pas דַּמִּ֗ים at Pas-dammim dam·mîm וְהַפְּלִשְׁתִּים֙ when the Philistines wə·hap·pə·liš·tîm נֶאֱסְפוּ־ gathered ne·’ĕs·p̄ū- שָׁ֣ם there šå̄m לַמִּלְחָמָ֔ה for battle . lam·mil·ḥā·māh וַתְּהִ֛י At wat·tə·hî חֶלְקַ֥ת the place ḥel·qaṯ הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה with a field haś·śā·ḏeh מְלֵאָ֣ה full of mə·lê·’āh שְׂעוֹרִ֑ים barley , śə·‘ō·w·rîm וְהָעָ֥ם the troops wə·hā·‘ām נָ֖סוּ fled nā·sū מִפְּנֵ֥י from mip·pə·nê פְלִשְׁתִּֽים׃ the Philistines . p̄ə·liš·tîm 1 Chronicles 11:14 וַיִּֽתְיַצְּב֤וּ But Eleazar and David stationed themselves way·yiṯ·yaṣ·ṣə·ḇū בְתוֹךְ־ in the middle ḇə·ṯō·wḵ- הַחֶלְקָה֙ of the field ha·ḥel·qāh וַיַּצִּיל֔וּהָ and defended it . way·yaṣ·ṣî·lū·hā וַיַּכּ֖וּ They struck down way·yak·kū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- פְּלִשְׁתִּ֑ים the Philistines , pə·liš·tîm יְהוָ֖ה and YHWH Yah·weh וַיּ֥וֹשַׁע brought about way·yō·wō·ša‘ גְדוֹלָֽה׃ a great ḡə·ḏō·w·lāh תְּשׁוּעָ֥ה victory . tə·šū·‘āh 1 Chronicles 11:15 שְֽׁלוֹשָׁה֩ Three šə·lō·wō·šāh מִן־ of min- הַשְּׁלוֹשִׁ֨ים the thirty haš·šə·lō·wō·šîm רֹ֤אשׁ chief men rōš וַיֵּרְד֡וּ went down way·yê·rə·ḏū אֶל־ to ’el- דָּוִ֔יד David , dā·wîḏ עַל־ to ‘al- הַצֻּר֙ the rock haṣ·ṣur אֶל־ at ’el- מְעָרַ֖ת the cave mə·‘ā·raṯ עֲדֻלָּ֑ם of Adullam , ‘ă·ḏul·lām וּמַחֲנֵ֣ה while a company ū·ma·ḥă·nêh פְלִשְׁתִּ֔ים of Philistines p̄ə·liš·tîm חֹנָ֖ה was encamped ḥō·nāh בְּעֵ֥מֶק in the Valley bə·‘ê·meq רְפָאִֽים׃ of Rephaim . rə·p̄ā·’îm 1 Chronicles 11:16 אָ֣ז At that time ’āz וְדָוִ֖יד David wə·ḏā·wîḏ בַּמְּצוּדָ֑ה was in the stronghold , bam·mə·ṣū·ḏāh וּנְצִ֣יב and the garrison ū·nə·ṣîḇ פְּלִשְׁתִּ֔ים of the Philistines pə·liš·tîm אָ֖ז . . . ’āz בְּבֵ֥ית vvv bə·ḇêṯ לָֽחֶם׃ was at Bethlehem . lā·ḥem 1 Chronicles 11:17 דָּוִ֖יד David dā·wîḏ וַיִּתְאָו longed for water way·yiṯ·ʾå̄w וַיֹּאמַ֑ר and said , way·yō·mar מִ֚י “ Oh, that someone mî יַשְׁקֵ֣נִי would get me a drink yaš·qê·nî מַ֔יִם of water ma·yim מִבּ֥וֹר from the well mib·bō·wr בֵּֽית־ bêṯ- בַּשָּֽׁעַר׃ near the gate baš·šā·‘ar לֶ֖חֶם of Bethlehem ! ” le·ḥem אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer 1 Chronicles 11:18 הַשְּׁלֹשָׁ֜ה So the Three haš·šə·lō·šāh וַיִּבְקְע֨וּ broke way·yiḇ·qə·‘ū פְלִשְׁתִּ֗ים through the Philistine p̄ə·liš·tîm בְּמַחֲנֵ֣ה camp , bə·ma·ḥă·nêh וַיִּֽשְׁאֲבוּ־ drew way·yiš·’ă·ḇū- מַ֙יִם֙ water ma·yim מִבּ֤וֹר from the well mib·bō·wr בֵּֽית־ bêṯ- בַּשַּׁ֔עַר at the gate baš·ša·‘ar וַיִּשְׂא֖וּ . . . way·yiś·’ū לֶ֙חֶם֙ of Bethlehem , le·ḥem אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer וַיָּבִ֣אוּ and brought it way·yā·ḇi·’ū אֶל־ back to ’el- דָּוִ֑יד David . dā·wîḏ דָוִיד֙ But he ḏā·wîḏ
