עֲצַבֵּיהֶ֖ם [in the temple] of their idols ‘ă·ṣab·bê·hem וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- הָעָֽם׃ and among their people . hā·‘ām 1 Chronicles 10:10 וַיָּשִׂ֙ימוּ֙ They put way·yā·śî·mū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- כֵּלָ֔יו his armor kê·lāw בֵּ֖ית in the temple bêṯ אֱלֹהֵיהֶ֑ם of their gods ’ĕ·lō·hê·hem וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- תָקְע֖וּ and hung ṯā·qə·‘ū גֻּלְגָּלְתּ֥וֹ his head gul·gā·lə·tōw בֵּ֥ית in the temple bêṯ דָּגֽוֹן׃ס of Dagon . dā·ḡō·wn 1 Chronicles 10:11 כֹּ֖ל When the people of kōl יָבֵ֣ישׁ Jabesh-gilead yā·ḇêš גִּלְעָ֑ד . . . gil·‘āḏ אֵ֛ת - ’êṯ וַֽיִּשְׁמְע֔וּ heard about way·yiš·mə·‘ū כָּל־ everything kāl- אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- פְלִשְׁתִּ֖ים the Philistines p̄ə·liš·tîm עָשׂ֥וּ had done ‘ā·śū לְשָׁאֽוּל׃ to Saul , lə·šā·’ūl 1 Chronicles 10:12 כָּל־ all kāl- אִ֣ישׁ their men ’îš חַיִל֒ of valor ḥa·yil וַיָּקוּמוּ֮ set out way·yā·qū·mū וַיִּשְׂא֞וּ and retrieved way·yiś·’ū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- גּוּפַ֣ת the bodies gū·p̄aṯ שָׁא֗וּל of Saul šā·’ūl וְאֵת֙ and wə·’êṯ גּוּפֹ֣ת - gū·p̄ōṯ בָּנָ֔יו his sons bā·nāw וַיְבִיא֖וּם and brought them way·ḇî·’ūm יָבֵ֑ישָׁה to Jabesh . yā·ḇê·šāh וַיִּקְבְּר֨וּ And they buried way·yiq·bə·rū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- עַצְמוֹתֵיהֶ֜ם their bones ‘aṣ·mō·w·ṯê·hem תַּ֤חַת under ta·ḥaṯ הָאֵלָה֙ the oak hā·’ê·lāh בְּיָבֵ֔שׁ in Jabesh bə·yā·ḇêš וַיָּצ֖וּמוּ and fasted way·yā·ṣū·mū שִׁבְעַ֥ת seven šiḇ·‘aṯ יָמִֽים׃ days . yā·mîm 1 Chronicles 10:13 שָׁא֗וּל So Saul šā·’ūl וַיָּ֣מָת died way·yā·māṯ מָעַ֣ל . . . mā·‘al בְּמַֽעֲלוֹ֙ for his unfaithfulness bə·ma·‘ă·lōw אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer בַּֽיהוָ֔ה to YHWH , Yah·weh עַל־ . . . ‘al- אֲשֶׁ֣ר because ’ă·šer לֹא־ he did not lō- שָׁמָ֑ר keep šā·mār דְּבַ֥ר the word də·ḇar יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH Yah·weh וְגַם־ and even wə·ḡam- לִשְׁא֥וֹל consulted liš·’ō·wl בָּא֖וֹב a medium bā·’ō·wḇ לִדְרֽוֹשׁ׃ for guidance , liḏ·rō·wōš 1 Chronicles 10:14 וְלֹֽא־ and he failed wə·lō- דָרַ֥שׁ to inquire ḏā·raš בַּֽיהוָ֖ה of YHWH . Yah·weh וַיְמִיתֵ֑הוּ So YHWH put him to death way·mî·ṯê·hū הַמְּלוּכָ֔ה and turned the kingdom ham·mə·lū·ḵāh וַיַּסֵּב֙ over way·yas·sêḇ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- לְדָוִ֖יד to David lə·ḏā·wîḏ בֶּן־ son ben- יִשָֽׁי׃פ of Jesse . yi·šāy 1 Chronicles 11:1 כָֽל־ Then all ḵāl יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל Israel yiś·rā·’êl וַיִּקָּבְצ֧וּ came together way·yiq·qā·ḇə·ṣū אֶל־ to ’el- דָּוִ֖יד David dā·wîḏ חֶבְר֣וֹנָה at Hebron ḥeḇ·rō·w·nāh לֵאמֹ֑ר and said , lê·mōr הִנֵּ֛ה “ Here hin·nêh אֲנָֽחְנוּ׃ we [are] , ’ă·nā·ḥə·nū וּֽבְשָׂרְךָ֖ your own flesh ū·ḇə·śā·rə·ḵā עַצְמְךָ֥ and blood . ‘aṣ·mə·ḵā
