וַיְדַבְּר֥וּ where they pronounced way·ḏab·bə·rū מִשְׁפָּֽט׃ judgment miš·pāṭ אִתּ֖וֹ on him . ’it·tōw 2 Kings 25:7 וְאֶת־ And wə·’eṯ- שָׁחֲט֖וּ they slaughtered šā·ḥă·ṭū בְּנֵי֙ the sons bə·nê צִדְקִיָּ֔הוּ of Zedekiah ṣiḏ·qî·yā·hū לְעֵינָ֑יו before his eyes . lə·‘ê·nāw וְאֶת־ Then wə·’eṯ- עִוֵּ֔ר they put out ‘iw·wêr צִדְקִיָּ֙הוּ֙ [his] ṣiḏ·qî·yā·hū עֵינֵ֤י eyes , ‘ê·nê וַיַּאַסְרֵ֙הוּ֙ bound him way·ya·’as·rê·hū בַֽנְחֻשְׁתַּ֔יִם with bronze shackles , ḇan·ḥuš·ta·yim וַיְבִאֵ֖הוּ and took him way·ḇi·’ê·hū בָּבֶֽל׃ס to Babylon . bā·ḇel 2 Kings 25:8 בְּשִׁבְעָ֣ה On the seventh bə·šiḇ·‘āh לַחֹ֔דֶשׁ . . . la·ḥō·ḏeš הַֽחֲמִישִׁי֙ day of the fifth ha·ḥă·mî·šî וּבַחֹ֤דֶשׁ month , ū·ḇa·ḥō·ḏeš הִ֗יא - hî תְּשַֽׁע־ in the nineteenth tə·ša‘- עֶשְׂרֵ֣ה . . . ‘eś·rêh שָׁנָ֔ה . . . šā·nāh שְׁנַת֙ year šə·naṯ נְבֻכַדְנֶאצַּ֣ר of Nebuchadnezzar’s nə·ḇu·ḵaḏ·neṣ·ṣar לַמֶּ֖לֶךְ reign lam·me·leḵ מֶֽלֶךְ־ me·leḵ- בָּבֶ֑ל over Babylon , bā·ḇel נְבוּזַרְאֲדָ֧ן Nebuzaradan nə·ḇū·zar·’ă·ḏān רַב־ captain raḇ- טַבָּחִ֛ים of the guard , ṭab·bā·ḥîm עֶ֥בֶד a servant ‘e·ḇeḏ מֶֽלֶךְ־ of the king me·leḵ- בָּבֶ֖ל of Babylon , bā·ḇel בָּ֞א entered bā יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ Jerusalem . yə·rū·šā·lim 2 Kings 25:9 וַיִּשְׂרֹ֥ף He burned down way·yiś·rōp̄ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בֵּית־ the house bêṯ- יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH , Yah·weh וְאֶת־ wə·’eṯ- הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ the royal ham·me·leḵ וְאֵ֨ת - wə·’êṯ בֵּ֣ית palace , bêṯ כָּל־ and all kāl- בָּתֵּ֧י the houses bāt·tê יְרוּשָׁלִַ֛ם of Jerusalem — yə·rū·šā·lim וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- שָׂרַ֥ף - śā·rap̄ בָּאֵֽשׁ׃ - bā·’êš כָּל־ every kāl- גָּד֖וֹל significant gā·ḏō·wl בֵּ֥ית building . bêṯ 2 Kings 25:10 וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- כָּל־ And the whole kāl- חֵ֣יל army ḥêl כַּשְׂדִּ֔ים of the Chaldeans kaś·dîm אֲשֶׁ֖ר under ’ă·šer רַב־ the captain raḇ- טַבָּחִֽים׃ of the guard ṭab·bā·ḥîm נָֽתְצוּ֙ broke down nā·ṯə·ṣū חוֹמֹ֥ת the walls ḥō·w·mōṯ סָבִ֑יב around sā·ḇîḇ יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם Jerusalem . yə·rū·šā·lim 2 Kings 25:11 וְאֵת֩ - wə·’êṯ נְבוּזַרְאֲדָ֖ן Then Nebuzaradan nə·ḇū·zar·’ă·ḏān רַב־ captain raḇ- טַבָּחִֽים׃ of the guard ṭab·bā·ḥîm הֶגְלָ֕ה carried into exile heḡ·lāh יֶ֨תֶר vvv ye·ṯer הָעָ֜ם the people hā·‘ām הַנִּשְׁאָרִ֣ים who remained han·niš·’ā·rîm בָּעִ֗יר in the city , bā·‘îr וְאֶת־ along with wə·’eṯ- הַנֹּֽפְלִים֙ the deserters han·nō·p̄ə·lîm אֲשֶׁ֤ר who ’ă·šer נָפְלוּ֙ had defected nā·p̄ə·lū עַל־ to ‘al- הַמֶּ֣לֶךְ the king ham·me·leḵ בָּבֶ֔ל of Babylon bā·ḇel וְאֵ֖ת - wə·’êṯ יֶ֣תֶר and the rest ye·ṯer הֶהָמ֑וֹן of the population . he·hā·mō·wn
