חַטֹּאות֙ the sins that ḥaṭ·ṭō·wṯ יָרָבְעָ֣ם Jeroboam yā·rā·ḇə·‘ām בֶּן־ son ben- נְבָ֔ט of Nebat nə·ḇāṭ אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ had caused Israel yiś·rā·’êl הֶחֱטִ֖יא to commit . he·ḥĕ·ṭî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- 2 Kings 14:25 ה֗וּא [This Jeroboam] hū הֵשִׁיב֙ restored hê·šîḇ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- גְּב֣וּל the boundary gə·ḇūl יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl מִלְּב֥וֹא vvv mil·lə·ḇō·w חֲמָ֖ת from Lebo-hamath ḥă·māṯ עַד־ to ‘aḏ- יָ֣ם the Sea yām הָעֲרָבָ֑ה of the Arabah , hā·‘ă·rā·ḇāh כִּדְבַ֤ר according to the word kiḏ·ḇar אֲשֶׁ֣ר that ’ă·šer יְהוָה֙ YHWH , Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵ֣י the God ’ĕ·lō·hê יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl דִּבֶּ֗ר had spoken dib·ber בְּיַד־ through bə·yaḏ- עַבְדּ֞וֹ His servant ‘aḇ·dōw יוֹנָ֤ה Jonah yō·w·nāh בֶן־ son ḇen- אֲמִתַּי֙ of Amittai , ’ă·mit·tay הַנָּבִ֔יא the prophet han·nā·ḇî אֲשֶׁ֖ר - ’ă·šer מִגַּ֥ת vvv mig·gaṯ הַחֵֽפֶר׃ from Gath-hepher . ha·ḥê·p̄er 2 Kings 14:26 כִּי־ For kî- יְהוָ֛ה YHWH Yah·weh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- רָאָ֧ה saw rā·’āh עֳנִ֥י that the affliction ‘o·nî יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל of the Israelites , yiś·rā·’êl עָצוּר֙ both slave ‘ā·ṣūr וְאֶ֣פֶס [and] wə·’e·p̄es וְאֶ֤פֶס . . . wə·’e·p̄es עָז֔וּב free , ‘ā·zūḇ מְאֹ֑ד was very mə·’ōḏ מֹרֶ֣ה bitter . mō·reh וְאֵ֥ין There was no wə·’ên עֹזֵ֖ר one to help ‘ō·zêr לְיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ Israel , lə·yiś·rā·’êl 2 Kings 14:27 יְהוָ֔ה and since YHWH Yah·weh דִבֶּ֣ר had said ḏib·ber וְלֹא־ vvv wə·lō- לִמְחוֹת֙ that He would not blot out lim·ḥō·wṯ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- שֵׁ֣ם the name šêm יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl מִתַּ֖חַת from under mit·ta·ḥaṯ הַשָּׁמָ֑יִם heaven , haš·šā·mā·yim וַיּ֣וֹשִׁיעֵ֔ם He saved them way·yō·wō·šî·‘êm בְּיַ֖ד by the hand bə·yaḏ יָרָבְעָ֥ם of Jeroboam yā·rā·ḇə·‘ām בֶּן־ son ben- יוֹאָֽשׁ׃ of Jehoash . yō·w·’āš 2 Kings 14:28 וְיֶתֶר֩ As for the rest wə·ye·ṯer דִּבְרֵ֨י of the acts diḇ·rê יָרָבְעָ֜ם of Jeroboam , yā·rā·ḇə·‘ām וְכָל־ along with all wə·ḵāl אֲשֶׁ֤ר his accomplishments ’ă·šer עָשָׂה֙ . . . ‘ā·śāh וּגְבוּרָת֣וֹ and might , ū·ḡə·ḇū·rā·ṯōw אֲשֶׁר־ and how ’ă·šer- נִלְחָ֔ם he waged war nil·ḥām וַאֲשֶׁ֨ר - wa·’ă·šer הֵשִׁ֜יב and recovered hê·šîḇ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הֲלֹא־ - hă·lō- הֵ֣ם . . . hêm דַּמֶּ֧שֶׂק both Damascus dam·me·śeq וְאֶת־ and wə·’eṯ- חֲמָ֛ת Hamath ḥă·māṯ בְּיִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל for Israel bə·yiś·rā·’êl לִיהוּדָ֖ה from Judah , lî·hū·ḏāh כְּתוּבִ֗ים are they not written kə·ṯū·ḇîm עַל־ in ‘al- סֵ֛פֶר the Book sê·p̄er דִּבְרֵ֥י of the Chronicles diḇ·rê הַיָּמִ֖ים . . . hay·yā·mîm לְמַלְכֵ֥י of the Kings lə·mal·ḵê יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ of Israel ? yiś·rā·’êl
