וַיַּ֖עַל So [Hazael] withdrew way·ya·‘al מֵעַ֥ל from mê·‘al יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ Jerusalem . yə·rū·šā·lim 2 Kings 12:19 וְיֶ֛תֶר As for the rest wə·ye·ṯer דִּבְרֵ֥י of the acts diḇ·rê יוֹאָ֖שׁ of Joash , yō·w·’āš וְכָל־ along with all wə·ḵāl אֲשֶׁ֣ר his accomplishments ’ă·šer עָשָׂ֑ה . . . , ‘ā·śāh הֲלוֹא־ . . . hă·lō·w- הֵ֣ם . . . hêm כְּתוּבִ֗ים are they not written kə·ṯū·ḇîm עַל־ in ‘al- סֵ֛פֶר the Book sê·p̄er דִּבְרֵ֥י of the Chronicles diḇ·rê הַיָּמִ֖ים . . . hay·yā·mîm לְמַלְכֵ֥י of the Kings lə·mal·ḵê יְהוּדָֽה׃ of Judah ? yə·hū·ḏāh 2 Kings 12:20 עֲבָדָ֖יו And the servants [of Joash] ‘ă·ḇā·ḏāw וַיָּקֻ֥מוּ rose up way·yā·qu·mū וַיִּקְשְׁרֽוּ־ and formed way·yiq·šə·rū- קָ֑שֶׁר a conspiracy qā·šer וַיַּכּוּ֙ and killed way·yak·kū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יוֹאָ֔שׁ [him] yō·w·’āš בֵּ֥ית . . . bêṯ מִלֹּ֖א at Beth-millo , mil·lō הַיּוֹרֵ֥ד on the road down hay·yō·w·rêḏ סִלָּֽא׃ to Silla . sil·lā 2 Kings 12:21 עֲבָדָיו֙ His servants ‘ă·ḇā·ḏāw וְיוֹזָבָ֣ד Jozabad wə·yō·w·zā·ḇāḏ בֶּן־ son be·nō·ši- שִׁ֠מְעָת of Shimeath mə·‘āṯ וִיהוֹזָבָ֨ד and Jehozabad wî·hō·w·zā·ḇāḏ בֶּן־ son ben- שֹׁמֵ֤ר׀ of Shomer šō·mêr הִכֻּ֣הוּ struck him down , hik·ku·hū וַיָּמֹ֔ת and he died . way·yā·mōṯ וַיִּקְבְּר֥וּ And they buried way·yiq·bə·rū אֹת֛וֹ him ’ō·ṯōw עִם־ with ‘im- אֲבֹתָ֖יו his fathers ’ă·ḇō·ṯāw בְּעִ֣יר in the City bə·‘îr דָּוִ֑ד of David , dā·wiḏ בְנ֖וֹ and his son ḇə·nōw אֲמַצְיָ֥ה Amaziah ’ă·maṣ·yāh וַיִּמְלֹ֛ךְ reigned way·yim·lōḵ תַּחְתָּֽיו׃פ in his place . taḥ·tāw 2 Kings 13:1 עֶשְׂרִ֤ים In the twenty-third ‘eś·rîm וְשָׁלֹשׁ֙ . . . wə·šā·lōš בִּשְׁנַ֨ת year biš·naṯ שָׁנָ֔ה . . . šā·nāh מֶ֣לֶךְ of the reign me·leḵ לְיוֹאָ֥שׁ of Joash lə·yō·w·’āš בֶּן־ son ben- אֲחַזְיָ֖הוּ of Ahaziah ’ă·ḥaz·yā·hū יְהוּדָ֑ה over Judah , yə·hū·ḏāh יְהוֹאָחָ֨ז Jehoahaz yə·hō·w·’ā·ḥāz בֶּן־ son ben- יֵה֤וּא of Jehu yê·hū מָ֠לַךְ became king mā·laḵ עַל־ of ‘al- יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ Israel , yiś·rā·’êl בְּשֹׁ֣מְר֔וֹן [and he reigned] in Samaria bə·šō·mə·rō·wn שְׁבַ֥ע seventeen šə·ḇa‘ עֶשְׂרֵ֖ה . . . ‘eś·rêh שָׁנָֽה׃ years . šā·nāh 2 Kings 13:2 וַיַּ֥עַשׂ And he did way·ya·‘aś הָרַ֖ע evil hā·ra‘ בְּעֵינֵ֣י in the sight bə·‘ê·nê יְהוָ֑ה of YHWH Yah·weh וַ֠יֵּלֶךְ and followed way·yê·leḵ אַחַ֨ר . . . ’a·ḥar חַטֹּ֜את the sins ḥaṭ·ṭōṯ אֲשֶׁר־ that ’ă·šer- יָרָבְעָ֧ם Jeroboam yā·rā·ḇə·‘ām בֶּן־ son ben- נְבָ֛ט of Nebat nə·ḇāṭ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל had caused Israel yiś·rā·’êl הֶחֱטִ֥יא to commit ; he·ḥĕ·ṭî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- לֹא־ he did not lō- סָ֥ר turn away sār מִמֶּֽנָּה׃ from them . mim·men·nāh
