הִ֛וא it hî מַצֶּ֥בֶת marks maṣ·ṣe·ḇeṯ רָחֵ֖ל Rachel’s rā·ḥêl קְבֻֽרַת־ tomb qə·ḇu·raṯ- עַד־ to ‘aḏ- הַיּֽוֹם׃ this day . hay·yō·wm Genesis 35:21 יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל Israel again yiś·rā·’êl וַיִּסַּ֖ע set out way·yis·sa‘ וַיֵּ֣ט and pitched way·yêṭ אָֽהֳלֹ֔ה his tent ʾå̄·ho·lōh מֵהָ֖לְאָה beyond mê·hā·lə·’āh לְמִגְדַּל־ - lə·miḡ·dal- עֵֽדֶר׃ the Tower of Eder . ‘ê·ḏer Genesis 35:22 וַיְהִ֗י While way·hî יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ Israel yiś·rā·’êl בִּשְׁכֹּ֤ן was living biš·kōn הַהִ֔וא in that ha·hi·w בָּאָ֣רֶץ region , bā·’ā·reṣ רְאוּבֵ֔ן Reuben rə·’ū·ḇên וַיֵּ֣לֶךְ went in way·yê·leḵ וַיִּשְׁכַּ֕ב֙ and slept with way·yiš·kaḇ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אָבִ֑֔יו his father’s ’ā·ḇîw פִּילֶ֣גֶשׁ concubine pî·le·ḡeš בִּלְהָ֖ה֙ Bilhah , bil·hāh יִשְׂרָאֵֽ֑ל פ and Israel yiś·rå̄·ʾēl p̄ וַיִּֽהְי֥וּ . . . way·yih·yū וַיִּשְׁמַ֖ע heard about it . way·yiš·ma‘ יַעֲקֹ֖ב Jacob had ya·‘ă·qōḇ שְׁנֵ֥ים twelve šə·nêm עָשָֽׂר׃ . . . ‘ā·śār בְנֵֽי־ sons : ḇə·nê- Genesis 35:23 בְּנֵ֣י The sons bə·nê לֵאָ֔ה of Leah lê·’āh רְאוּבֵ֑ן were Reuben rə·’ū·ḇên בְּכ֥וֹר the firstborn bə·ḵō·wr יַעֲקֹ֖ב of Jacob , ya·‘ă·qōḇ וְשִׁמְעוֹן֙ Simeon , wə·šim·‘ō·wn וְלֵוִ֣י Levi , wə·lê·wî וִֽיהוּדָ֔ה Judah , wî·hū·ḏāh וְיִשָּׂשכָ֖ר Issachar , wə·yiś·śā·š·ḵār וּזְבוּלֻֽן׃ and Zebulun . ū·zə·ḇū·lun Genesis 35:24 בְּנֵ֣י The sons bə·nê רָחֵ֔ל of Rachel [were] rā·ḥêl יוֹסֵ֖ף Joseph yō·w·sêp̄ וּבִנְיָמִֽן׃ and Benjamin . ū·ḇin·yā·min Genesis 35:25 וּבְנֵ֤י The sons ū·ḇə·nê רָחֵ֔ל of Rachel’s rā·ḥêl שִׁפְחַ֣ת maidservant šip̄·ḥaṯ בִלְהָה֙ Bilhah [were] ḇil·hāh דָּ֖ן Dan dān וְנַפְתָּלִֽי׃ and Naphtali . wə·nap̄·tā·lî Genesis 35:26 וּבְנֵ֥י And the sons ū·ḇə·nê לֵאָ֖ה of Leah’s lê·’āh שִׁפְחַ֥ת maidservant šip̄·ḥaṯ זִלְפָּ֛ה Zilpah zil·pāh גָּ֣ד [were] Gad gāḏ וְאָשֵׁ֑ר and Asher . wə·’ā·šêr אֵ֚לֶּה These ’êl·leh בְּנֵ֣י are the sons bə·nê יַעֲקֹ֔ב of Jacob , ya·‘ă·qōḇ אֲשֶׁ֥ר who ’ă·šer יֻלַּד־ were born yul·laḏ- ל֖וֹ to him lōw בְּפַדַּ֥ן in bə·p̄ad·dan אֲרָֽם׃ Paddan-aram . ’ă·rām Genesis 35:27 יַעֲקֹב֙ Jacob ya·‘ă·qōḇ וַיָּבֹ֤א returned way·yā·ḇō אֶל־ to ’el- אָבִ֔יו his father ’ā·ḇîw יִצְחָ֣ק Isaac yiṣ·ḥāq מַמְרֵ֖א at Mamre , mam·rê קִרְיַ֣ת vvv qir·yaṯ הָֽאַרְבַּ֑ע near Kiriath-arba hā·’ar·ba‘ הִ֣וא (that is , hî חֶבְר֔וֹן Hebron) , ḥeḇ·rō·wn אֲשֶׁר־ where ’ă·šer- אַבְרָהָ֖ם Abraham ’aḇ·rā·hām וְיִצְחָֽק׃ and Isaac wə·yiṣ·ḥāq
