הֲרָצַ֖חְתָּ ‘ Have you not murdered [a man] hă·rā·ṣaḥ·tā וְגַם־ and wə·ḡam- יָרָ֑שְׁתָּ seized his land ? ’ yā·rā·šə·tā וְדִבַּרְתָּ֨ Then tell him wə·ḏib·bar·tā אֵלָ֜יו . . . ’ê·lāw לֵאמֹ֗ר . . . lê·mōr כֹּ֚ה that this is [also] what kōh יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֣ר says : ’ā·mar בִּמְק֗וֹם ‘ In the place bim·qō·wm אֲשֶׁ֨ר where ’ă·šer הַכְּלָבִים֙ the dogs hak·kə·lā·ḇîm אֶת־ - ’eṯ- לָקְק֤וּ licked up lā·qə·qū דַּ֣ם the blood dam נָב֔וֹת of Naboth , nā·ḇō·wṯ הַכְּלָבִ֛ים [there also] the dogs hak·kə·lā·ḇîm אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יָלֹ֧קּוּ will lick up yā·lōq·qū דָּמְךָ֖ your blood — dā·mə·ḵā גַּם־ yes , gam- אָֽתָּה׃ yours ! ’ ” ’āt·tāh 1 Kings 21:20 אֵ֣לִיָּ֔הוּ When Elijah [arrived] , ’ê·lî·yā·hū אַחְאָב֙ Ahab ’aḥ·’āḇ וַיֹּ֤אמֶר said way·yō·mer אֶל־ to him , ’el- הַֽמְצָאתַ֖נִי “ So you have found me out , ham·ṣā·ṯa·nî אֹיְבִ֑י my enemy . ” ’ō·yə·ḇî וַיֹּ֣אמֶר He replied , way·yō·mer מָצָ֔אתִי “ I have found [you] out mā·ṣā·ṯî יַ֚עַן because ya·‘an הִתְמַכֶּרְךָ֔ you have sold yourself hiṯ·mak·ker·ḵā לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת to do la·‘ă·śō·wṯ הָרַ֖ע evil hā·ra‘ בְּעֵינֵ֥י in the sight bə·‘ê·nê יְהוָֽה׃ of YHWH . Yah·weh 1 Kings 21:21 הִנְנִ֨י [This is what YHWH says] : hin·nî מֵבִי ‘ I will bring mē·ḇī רָעָ֔ה calamity rā·‘āh אֵלֶ֙יךָ֙ on you ’ê·le·ḵā וּבִעַרְתִּ֖י and consume ū·ḇi·‘ar·tî אַחֲרֶ֑יךָ your descendants ; ’a·ḥă·re·ḵā וְהִכְרַתִּ֤י I will cut off wə·hiḵ·rat·tî לְאַחְאָב֙ from Ahab lə·’aḥ·’āḇ מַשְׁתִּ֣ין every male maš·tîn בְּקִ֔יר - bə·qîr בְּיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ in Israel , bə·yiś·rā·’êl וְעָצ֥וּר both slave wə·‘ā·ṣūr וְעָז֖וּב and free . wə·‘ā·zūḇ 1 Kings 21:22 וְנָתַתִּ֣י I will make wə·nā·ṯat·tî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בֵּיתְךָ֗ your house bê·ṯə·ḵā כְּבֵית֙ like that kə·ḇêṯ יָרָבְעָ֣ם of Jeroboam yā·rā·ḇə·‘ām בֶּן־ son ben- נְבָ֔ט of Nebat nə·ḇāṭ וּכְבֵ֖ית and like that ū·ḵə·ḇêṯ בַּעְשָׁ֣א of Baasha ba‘·šā בֶן־ son ḇen- אֲחִיָּ֑ה of Ahijah , ’ă·ḥî·yāh אֶל־ because ’el- הִכְעַ֔סְתָּ you have provoked hiḵ·‘as·tā הַכַּ֙עַס֙ My anger hak·ka·‘as אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ and caused Israel yiś·rā·’êl וַֽתַּחֲטִ֖א to sin . wat·ta·ḥă·ṭi אֶת־ - ’ ’eṯ- 1 Kings 21:23 יְהוָ֖ה And YHWH Yah·weh לֵאמֹ֑ר . . . lê·mōr וְגַ֨ם־ also wə·ḡam- דִּבֶּ֥ר speaks dib·ber לְאִיזֶ֔בֶל concerning Jezebel : lə·’î·ze·ḇel הַכְּלָבִ֛ים ‘ The dogs hak·kə·lā·ḇîm יֹאכְל֥וּ will devour yō·ḵə·lū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אִיזֶ֖בֶל Jezebel ’î·ze·ḇel בְּחֵ֥ל by the wall bə·ḥêl יִזְרְעֶֽאל׃ of Jezreel . ’ yiz·rə·‘el 1 Kings 21:24 לְאַחְאָב֙ Anyone belonging to Ahab lə·’aḥ·’āḇ הַמֵּ֤ת who dies ham·mêṯ בָּעִ֔יר in the city bā·‘îr יֹאכְל֖וּ will be eaten yō·ḵə·lū הַכְּלָבִ֑ים by dogs , hak·kə·lā·ḇîm וְהַמֵּת֙ and anyone who dies wə·ham·mêṯ בַּשָּׂדֶ֔ה in the field baś·śā·ḏeh
