אֲשֶׁ֨ר who ’ă·šer הוֹצִ֣יא brought hō·w·ṣî אֲבֹתָם֮ their fathers ’ă·ḇō·ṯām אֶת־ - ’eṯ- מֵאֶ֣רֶץ out of the land mê·’e·reṣ מִצְרַיִם֒ of Egypt , miṣ·ra·yim וַֽיַּחֲזִ֙קוּ֙ and have embraced way·ya·ḥă·zi·qū אֲחֵרִ֔ים other ’ă·ḥê·rîm בֵּאלֹהִ֣ים gods , bê·lō·hîm וַיִּשְׁתַּחוּ worshiping way·yiš·ta·ḥū לָהֶ֖ם lā·hem וַיַּעַבְדֻ֑ם and serving them — way·ya·‘aḇ·ḏum עַל־ because of ‘al- כֵּ֗ן this , kên יְהוָה֙ YHWH Yah·weh הֵבִ֤יא has brought hê·ḇî כָּל־ all kāl- הַזֹּֽאת׃פ this haz·zōṯ הָרָעָ֖ה disaster hā·rā·‘āh עֲלֵיהֶ֔ם upon them ‘ă·lê·hem אֵ֥ת - . ’” ’êṯ 1 Kings 9:10 וַיְהִ֗י Now way·hî מִקְצֵה֙ at the end miq·ṣêh עֶשְׂרִ֣ים of the twenty ‘eś·rîm שָׁנָ֔ה years šā·nāh אֲשֶׁר־ during which ’ă·šer- שְׁלֹמֹ֖ה Solomon šə·lō·mōh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בָּנָ֥ה built bā·nāh שְׁנֵ֣י these two šə·nê הַבָּתִּ֑ים houses , hab·bāt·tîm אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בֵּ֥ית the house bêṯ יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH Yah·weh וְאֶת־ and wə·’eṯ- הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ the royal ham·me·leḵ בֵּ֥ית palace , bêṯ 1 Kings 9:11 אָ֡ז - ’āz הַמֶּ֨לֶךְ King ham·me·leḵ שְׁלֹמֹ֤ה Solomon šə·lō·mōh יִתֵּן֩ gave yit·tên לְחִירָם֙ - lə·ḥî·rām עֶשְׂרִ֣ים twenty ‘eś·rîm עִ֔יר towns ‘îr בְּאֶ֖רֶץ in the land bə·’e·reṣ הַגָּלִֽיל׃ of Galilee hag·gā·lîl חִירָ֣ם to Hiram ḥî·rām מֶֽלֶךְ־ king me·leḵ- צֹ֠ר of Tyre , ṣōr נִשָּׂ֨א who had supplied niś·śā אֶת־ - ’eṯ- שְׁלֹמֹ֜ה him šə·lō·mōh אֲרָזִ֨ים with cedar ’ă·rā·zîm וּבַעֲצֵ֧י . . . ū·ḇa·‘ă·ṣê בְרוֹשִׁ֛ים and cypress ḇə·rō·wō·šîm בַּעֲצֵי֩ logs ba·‘ă·ṣê וּבַזָּהָ֖ב and gold ū·ḇaz·zā·hāḇ לְכָל־ for his every lə·ḵāl חֶפְצ֑וֹ desire . ḥep̄·ṣōw 1 Kings 9:12 חִירָם֙ So Hiram ḥî·rām וַיֵּצֵ֤א went out way·yê·ṣê מִצֹּ֔ר from Tyre miṣ·ṣōr לִרְאוֹת֙ to inspect lir·’ō·wṯ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הֶ֣עָרִ֔ים the towns he·‘ā·rîm אֲשֶׁ֥ר that ’ă·šer שְׁלֹמֹ֑ה Solomon šə·lō·mōh נָתַן־ had given nā·ṯan- ל֖וֹ him , lōw וְלֹ֥א but he was not wə·lō יָשְׁר֖וּ pleased with yā·šə·rū בְּעֵינָֽיו׃ them . bə·‘ê·nāw 1 Kings 9:13 מָ֚ה “ What māh הָאֵ֔לֶּה are these hā·’êl·leh אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- הֶעָרִ֣ים towns he·‘ā·rîm נָתַ֥תָּה you have given nā·ṯat·tāh לִּ֖י me , lî אָחִ֑י my brother ? ” ’ā·ḥî וַיֹּ֕אמֶר asked [Hiram] , way·yō·mer וַיִּקְרָ֤א and he called way·yiq·rā לָהֶם֙ them lā·hem אֶ֣רֶץ the Land ’e·reṣ כָּב֔וּל of Cabul , kā·ḇūl עַ֖ד as they are [called] to ‘aḏ הַזֶּֽה׃פ this haz·zeh הַיּ֥וֹם day . hay·yō·wm
