יְהוָ֣ה of YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהָ֔יו his God ’ĕ·lō·hāw עַ֤ד until ‘aḏ יְהוָה֙ YHWH Yah·weh אֹתָ֔ם - ’ō·ṯām תֵּת־ had put têṯ- תַּ֖חַת his enemies under ta·ḥaṯ כַּפּ֥וֹת his feet kap·pō·wṯ רַגְלוֹ׃ . . . . raḡ·lō 1 Kings 5:4 וְעַתָּ֕ה But now wə·‘at·tāh יְהוָ֧ה YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהַ֛י my God ’ĕ·lō·hay לִ֖י . . . lî הֵנִ֨יחַ has given me rest hê·nî·aḥ מִסָּבִ֑יב on every side , mis·sā·ḇîḇ אֵ֣ין and there is no ’ên שָׂטָ֔ן adversary śā·ṭān וְאֵ֖ין . . . wə·’ên פֶּ֥גַע or crisis pe·ḡa‘ רָֽע׃ . . . . rā‘ 1 Kings 5:5 וְהִנְנִ֣י So behold , wə·hin·nî אֹמֵ֔ר I plan ’ō·mêr לִבְנ֣וֹת to build liḇ·nō·wṯ בַּ֔יִת a house ba·yiṯ לְשֵׁ֖ם for the Name lə·šêm יְהוָ֣ה of YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהָ֑י my God , ’ĕ·lō·hāy כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר׀ according to what ka·’ă·šer יְהוָ֗ה YHWH Yah·weh דִּבֶּ֣ר said dib·ber אֶל־ to ’el- אָבִי֙ my father ’ā·ḇî לֵאמֹ֔ר . . . lê·mōr דָּוִ֤ד David : dā·wiḏ אֶתֵּ֤ן ‘ I will put ’et·tên בִּנְךָ֗ your son bin·ḵā אֲשֶׁ֨ר - ’ă·šer עַל־ on ‘al- כִּסְאֶ֔ךָ your throne kis·’e·ḵā תַּחְתֶּ֙יךָ֙ in your place , taḥ·te·ḵā הֽוּא־ and he hū- יִבְנֶ֥ה will build yiḇ·neh הַבַּ֖יִת the house hab·ba·yiṯ לִשְׁמִֽי׃ for My Name . ’ liš·mî 1 Kings 5:6 וְעַתָּ֡ה Now therefore , wə·‘at·tāh צַוֵּה֩ order ṣaw·wêh אֲרָזִ֜ים that cedars ’ă·rā·zîm מִן־ of min- הַלְּבָנ֗וֹן Lebanon hal·lə·ḇā·nō·wn וְיִכְרְתוּ־ be cut down wə·yiḵ·rə·ṯū- לִ֨י for me . lî וַֽעֲבָדַי֙ My servants wa·‘ă·ḇā·ḏay יִהְי֣וּ will be yih·yū עִם־ with ‘im- עֲבָדֶ֔יךָ your servants , ‘ă·ḇā·ḏe·ḵā אֶתֵּ֣ן and I will pay ’et·tên לְךָ֔ your lə·ḵā עֲבָדֶ֙יךָ֙ servants ‘ă·ḇā·ḏe·ḵā וּשְׂכַ֤ר whatever wages ū·śə·ḵar כְּכֹ֖ל . . . kə·ḵōl אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer תֹּאמֵ֑ר you set , tō·mêr כִּ֣י׀ for kî אַתָּ֣ה you ’at·tāh יָדַ֗עְתָּ know yā·ḏa‘·tā כִּ֣י that kî אֵ֥ין [there are] none ’ên אִ֛ישׁ ’îš בָּ֛נוּ among us bā·nū יֹדֵ֥עַ as skilled yō·ḏê·a‘ לִכְרָת־ in logging liḵ·rāṯ- עֵצִ֖ים . . . ‘ê·ṣîm כַּצִּדֹנִֽים׃ as the Sidonians . ” kaṣ·ṣi·ḏō·nîm 1 Kings 5:7 וַיְהִ֞י - way·hî חִירָ֛ם When Hiram ḥî·rām אֶת־ - ’eṯ- כִּשְׁמֹ֧עַ received kiš·mō·a‘ שְׁלֹמֹ֖ה Solomon’s šə·lō·mōh דִּבְרֵ֥י message , diḇ·rê וַיִּשְׂמַ֣ח he rejoiced way·yiś·maḥ מְאֹ֑ד greatly mə·’ōḏ וַיֹּ֗אמֶר and said , way·yō·mer בָּר֤וּךְ “ Blessed [be] bā·rūḵ יְהוָה֙ YHWH Yah·weh הַיּ֔וֹם this day ! hay·yō·wm אֲשֶׁ֨ר He ’ă·šer נָתַ֤ן has given nā·ṯan לְדָוִד֙ David lə·ḏā·wiḏ
