Judges 13:7 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר But he said way·yō·mer לִ֔י to me , lî הִנָּ֥ךְ ‘ Behold , hin·nāḵ הָרָ֖ה you will conceive hā·rāh וְיֹלַ֣דְתְּ and give birth to wə·yō·laḏt בֵּ֑ן a son . bên וְעַתָּ֞ה Now, therefore , wə·‘at·tāh אַל־ do not ’al- תִּשְׁתִּ֣י׀ drink tiš·tî יַ֣יִן wine ya·yin וְשֵׁכָ֗ר or strong drink , wə·šê·ḵār וְאַל־ and do not wə·’al- תֹּֽאכְלִי֙ eat tō·ḵə·lî כָּל־ anything kāl- טֻמְאָ֔ה unclean , ṭum·’āh כִּֽי־ because kî- הַנַּ֔עַר the boy han·na·‘ar יִהְיֶ֣ה will be yih·yeh נְזִ֤יר a Nazirite nə·zîr אֱלֹהִים֙ to God ’ĕ·lō·hîm מִן־ from min- הַבֶּ֖טֶן the womb hab·be·ṭen עַד־ until ‘aḏ- י֥וֹם the day yō·wm מוֹתֽוֹ׃פ of his death . ’” mō·w·ṯōw Judges 13:8 מָנ֛וֹחַ Then Manoah mā·nō·w·aḥ וַיֶּעְתַּ֥ר prayed way·ye‘·tar אֶל־ to ’el- יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh וַיֹּאמַ֑ר - , way·yō·mar בִּ֣י “ Please , bî אֲדוֹנָ֔י O Lord , ’ă·ḏō·w·nāy אִ֣ישׁ let the man ’îš הָאֱלֹהִ֞ים of God hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm אֲשֶׁ֣ר - ’ă·šer שָׁלַ֗חְתָּ You sent us šā·laḥ·tā יָבוֹא־ come yā·ḇō·w- נָ֥א . . . nā אֵלֵ֔ינוּ to us ’ê·lê·nū עוֹד֙ again ‘ō·wḏ וְיוֹרֵ֕נוּ to teach us wə·yō·w·rê·nū מַֽה־ how mah- נַּעֲשֶׂ֖ה to raise na·‘ă·śeh לַנַּ֥עַר the boy lan·na·‘ar הַיּוּלָּֽד׃ who is to be born . ” hay·yūl·lāḏ Judges 13:9 הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים And God hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm וַיִּשְׁמַ֥ע listened way·yiš·ma‘ בְּק֣וֹל to the voice bə·qō·wl מָנ֑וֹחַ of Manoah , mā·nō·w·aḥ מַלְאַךְ֩ and the angel mal·’aḵ הָאֱלֹהִ֨ים of God hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm וַיָּבֹ֣א returned way·yā·ḇō ע֜וֹד . . . ‘ō·wḏ אֶל־ to ’el- הָאִשָּׁ֗ה the woman hā·’iš·šāh וְהִיא֙ as she wə·hî יוֹשֶׁ֣בֶת was sitting yō·wō·še·ḇeṯ בַּשָּׂדֶ֔ה in the field ; baś·śā·ḏeh אִישָׁ֖הּ but her husband ’î·šāh וּמָנ֥וֹחַ Manoah ū·mā·nō·w·aḥ אֵ֥ין was not ’ên עִמָּֽהּ׃ with her . ‘im·māh Judges 13:10 לְאִישָׁ֑הּ The woman lə·’î·šāh וַתָּ֖רָץ ran wat·tā·rāṣ וַתַּגֵּ֣ד . . . wat·tag·gêḏ וַתְּמַהֵר֙ quickly wat·tə·ma·hêr וַתֹּ֣אמֶר to tell wat·tō·mer אֵלָ֔יו ’ê·lāw הָֽאִשָּׁ֔ה her husband , hā·’iš·šāh הִנֵּ֨ה “ Behold , hin·nêh הָאִ֔ישׁ the man hā·’îš אֲשֶׁר־ who ’ă·šer- בָּ֥א came bā אֵלָֽי׃ to me ’ê·lāy בַיּ֖וֹם the [other] day ḇay·yō·wm נִרְאָ֤ה has reappeared nir·’āh אֵלַי֙ . . . ! ” ’ê·lay Judges 13:11 מָנ֖וֹחַ So Manoah mā·nō·w·aḥ וַיָּ֛קָם got up way·yā·qām וַיֵּ֥לֶךְ and followed way·yê·leḵ אַחֲרֵ֣י . . . ’a·ḥă·rê אִשְׁתּ֑וֹ his wife . ’iš·tōw וַיָּבֹא֙ When he came way·yā·ḇō אֶל־ to ’el- הָאִ֔ישׁ the man , hā·’îš וַיֹּ֣אמֶר he asked way·yō·mer ל֗וֹ , lōw הַאַתָּ֥ה “ Are you ha·’at·tāh
