Joshua 18:6 וְאַתֶּ֞ם When you wə·’at·tem תִּכְתְּב֤וּ have mapped out tiḵ·tə·ḇū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- שִׁבְעָ֣ה the seven šiḇ·‘āh חֲלָקִ֔ים portions ḥă·lā·qîm הָאָ֙רֶץ֙ of land hā·’ā·reṣ וַֽהֲבֵאתֶ֥ם and brought wa·hă·ḇê·ṯem אֵלַ֖י it to me , ’ê·lay הֵ֑נָּה . . . hên·nāh וְיָרִ֨יתִי I will cast wə·yā·rî·ṯî גּוֹרָל֙ lots gō·w·rāl לָכֶ֤ם for you lā·ḵem פֹּ֔ה here pōh לִפְנֵ֖י in the presence lip̄·nê יְהוָ֥ה of YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃ our God . ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū Joshua 18:7 לַלְוִיִּם֙ The Levites , lal·wî·yim כִּ֠י however , kî אֵֽין־ have no ’ên- חֵ֤לֶק portion ḥê·leq בְּקִרְבְּכֶ֔ם among you , bə·qir·bə·ḵem כִּֽי־ because kî- נַחֲלָת֑וֹ their inheritance na·ḥă·lā·ṯōw כְהֻנַּ֥ת is the priesthood ḵə·hun·naṯ יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH . Yah·weh וְגָ֡ד And Gad , wə·ḡāḏ וּרְאוּבֵ֡ן Reuben , ū·rə·’ū·ḇên וַחֲצִי֩ and half wa·ḥă·ṣî שֵׁ֨בֶט the tribe šê·ḇeṭ הַֽמְנַשֶּׁ֜ה of Manasseh ham·naš·šeh לָקְח֣וּ have already received lā·qə·ḥū נַחֲלָתָ֗ם the inheritance na·ḥă·lā·ṯām אֲשֶׁר֙ that ’ă·šer מֹשֶׁ֖ה Moses mō·šeh עֶ֥בֶד the servant ‘e·ḇeḏ יְהוָֽה׃ of YHWH Yah·weh נָתַ֣ן gave nā·ṯan לָהֶ֔ם them lā·hem מֵעֵ֤בֶר beyond mê·‘ê·ḇer לַיַּרְדֵּן֙ the Jordan lay·yar·dên מִזְרָ֔חָה to the east . ” miz·rā·ḥāh Joshua 18:8 הָאֲנָשִׁ֖ים As the men hā·’ă·nā·šîm וַיָּקֻ֥מוּ got up way·yā·qu·mū וַיֵּלֵ֑כוּ to go out , way·yê·lê·ḵū יְהוֹשֻׁ֡עַ Joshua yə·hō·wō·šu·a‘ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיְצַ֣ו commanded way·ṣaw הַהֹלְכִים֩ them ha·hō·lə·ḵîm לִכְתֹּ֨ב to map out liḵ·tōḇ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָאָ֜רֶץ the land , hā·’ā·reṣ לֵאמֹ֗ר saying , lê·mōr לְ֠כוּ “ Go lə·ḵū וְהִתְהַלְּכ֨וּ and survey wə·hiṯ·hal·lə·ḵū בָאָ֜רֶץ the land , ḇā·’ā·reṣ וְכִתְב֤וּ map it out , wə·ḵiṯ·ḇū אוֹתָהּ֙ - ’ō·w·ṯāh וְשׁ֣וּבוּ and return wə·šū·ḇū אֵלַ֔י to me . ’ê·lay אַשְׁלִ֨יךְ Then I will cast ’aš·lîḵ גּוֹרָ֛ל lots gō·w·rāl לָכֶ֥ם for you lā·ḵem וּ֠פֹה here ū·p̄ōh בְּשִׁלֹֽה׃ in Shiloh bə·ši·lōh לִפְנֵ֥י in the presence lip̄·nê יְהוָ֖ה of YHWH . ” Yah·weh Joshua 18:9 הָֽאֲנָשִׁים֙ So the men hā·’ă·nā·šîm וַיֵּלְכ֤וּ departed way·yê·lə·ḵū וַיַּעַבְר֣וּ and went throughout way·ya·‘aḇ·rū בָאָ֔רֶץ the land , ḇā·’ā·reṣ וַיִּכְתְּב֧וּהָ mapping it way·yiḵ·tə·ḇū·hā לֶֽעָרִ֛ים city by city le·‘ā·rîm לְשִׁבְעָ֥ה into seven lə·šiḇ·‘āh חֲלָקִ֖ים portions ḥă·lā·qîm עַל־ . ‘al- וַיָּבֹ֧אוּ Then they returned way·yā·ḇō·’ū סֵ֑פֶר with the document sê·p̄er אֶל־ to ’el- יְהוֹשֻׁ֛עַ Joshua yə·hō·wō·šu·a‘ אֶל־ at ’el- הַֽמַּחֲנֶ֖ה the camp ham·ma·ḥă·neh שִׁלֹֽה׃ in Shiloh . ši·lōh Joshua 18:10 יְהוֹשֻׁ֧עַ And Joshua yə·hō·wō·šu·a‘ וַיַּשְׁלֵךְ֩ cast way·yaš·lêḵ גּוֹרָ֛ל lots gō·w·rāl לָהֶ֨ם for them lā·hem לִפְנֵ֣י in the presence lip̄·nê יְהוָ֑ה of YHWH Yah·weh
