מִזְרָ֔חָה to the east , miz·rā·ḥāh כַּאֲשֶׁר֙ just as ka·’ă·šer מֹשֶׁ֖ה Moses mō·šeh עֶ֥בֶד the servant ‘e·ḇeḏ יְהוָֽה׃ of YHWH Yah·weh נָתַ֣ן had assigned nā·ṯan לָהֶ֔ם to them : lā·hem Joshua 13:9 מֵעֲרוֹעֵ֡ר [The area] from Aroer mê·‘ă·rō·w·‘êr אֲשֶׁר֩ - ’ă·šer עַל־ on ‘al- שְׂפַת־ the rim śə·p̄aṯ- אַרְנ֜וֹן of the Arnon ’ar·nō·wn נַ֨חַל Valley , na·ḥal וְהָעִ֨יר along with the city wə·hā·‘îr אֲשֶׁ֧ר - ’ă·šer בְּתוֹךְ־ in the middle bə·ṯō·wḵ- הַנַּ֛חַל of the valley , han·na·ḥal וְכָל־ the whole wə·ḵāl הַמִּישֹׁ֥ר plateau ham·mî·šōr מֵידְבָ֖א of Medeba mê·ḏə·ḇā עַד־ as ‘aḏ- דִּיבֽוֹן׃ far as Dibon , dî·ḇō·wn Joshua 13:10 וְכֹ֗ל and all wə·ḵōl עָרֵי֙ the cities ‘ā·rê סִיחוֹן֙ of Sihon sî·ḥō·wn מֶ֣לֶךְ king me·leḵ הָאֱמֹרִ֔י of the Amorites hā·’ĕ·mō·rî אֲשֶׁ֥ר who ’ă·šer מָלַ֖ךְ reigned mā·laḵ בְּחֶשְׁבּ֑וֹן in Heshbon , bə·ḥeš·bō·wn עַד־ as far as ‘aḏ- גְּב֖וּל the border gə·ḇūl בְּנֵ֥י of the Ammonites bə·nê עַמּֽוֹן׃ . . . ; ‘am·mō·wn Joshua 13:11 וְהַגִּלְעָ֞ד also Gilead wə·hag·gil·‘āḏ וּגְב֧וּל and the territory ū·ḡə·ḇūl הַגְּשׁוּרִ֣י of the Geshurites hag·gə·šū·rî וְהַמַּעֲכָתִ֗י and Maacathites , wə·ham·ma·‘ă·ḵā·ṯî וְכֹ֨ל all wə·ḵōl הַ֥ר of Mount har חֶרְמ֛וֹן Hermon , ḥer·mō·wn וְכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl הַבָּשָׁ֖ן Bashan hab·bā·šān עַד־ as far as ‘aḏ- סַלְכָֽה׃ Salecah — sal·ḵāh Joshua 13:12 כָּל־ the whole kāl- מַמְלְכ֥וּת kingdom mam·lə·ḵūṯ עוֹג֙ of Og ‘ō·wḡ בַּבָּשָׁ֔ן in Bashan , bab·bā·šān אֲשֶׁר־ who ’ă·šer- מָלַ֥ךְ had reigned mā·laḵ בְּעַשְׁתָּר֖וֹת in Ashtaroth bə·‘aš·tā·rō·wṯ וּבְאֶדְרֶ֑עִי and Edrei ū·ḇə·’eḏ·re·‘î ה֤וּא - hū נִשְׁאַר֙ and had remained niš·’ar מִיֶּ֣תֶר as a remnant mî·ye·ṯer הָרְפָאִ֔ים of the Rephaim . hā·rə·p̄ā·’îm מֹשֶׁ֖ה Moses mō·šeh וַיַּכֵּ֥ם had struck them down way·yak·kêm וַיֹּרִשֵֽׁם׃ and dispossessed them , way·yō·ri·šêm Joshua 13:13 בְּנֵ֣י but the Israelites bə·nê יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל . . . yiś·rā·’êl אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וְלֹ֤א did not wə·lō הוֹרִ֙ישׁוּ֙ drive out hō·w·rî·šū הַגְּשׁוּרִ֖י the Geshurites hag·gə·šū·rî וְאֶת־ or wə·’eṯ- הַמַּעֲכָתִ֑י the Maacathites . ham·ma·‘ă·ḵā·ṯî גְּשׁ֤וּר So Geshur gə·šūr וּמַֽעֲכָת֙ and Maacath ū·ma·‘ă·ḵāṯ וַיֵּ֨שֶׁב dwell way·yê·šeḇ בְּקֶ֣רֶב among bə·qe·reḇ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל the Israelites yiś·rā·’êl עַ֖ד to ‘aḏ הַזֶּֽה׃ this haz·zeh הַיּ֥וֹם day . hay·yō·wm Joshua 13:14 לְשֵׁ֣בֶט To the tribe lə·šê·ḇeṭ הַלֵּוִ֔י of Levi , hal·lê·wî רַ֚ק however , raq נָתַ֖ן [Moses] had given nā·ṯan לֹ֥א no lō נַחֲלָ֑ה inheritance . na·ḥă·lāh
