מִצְרַ֗יִם of Egypt miṣ·ra·yim וְעַ֨ד to wə·‘aḏ גְּב֤וּל the territory gə·ḇūl עֶקְרוֹן֙ of Ekron ‘eq·rō·wn צָפ֔וֹנָה on the north ṣā·p̄ō·w·nāh תֵּחָשֵׁ֑ב (considered tê·ḥā·šêḇ לַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֖י to be Canaanite [territory]) — lak·kə·na·‘ă·nî חֲמֵ֣שֶׁת׀ that of the five ḥă·mê·šeṯ פְלִשְׁתִּ֗ים Philistine p̄ə·liš·tîm סַרְנֵ֣י rulers sar·nê הָעַזָּתִ֤י of Gaza , hā·‘az·zā·ṯî וְהָאַשְׁדּוֹדִי֙ Ashdod , wə·hā·’aš·dō·w·ḏî הָאֶשְׁקְלוֹנִ֣י Ashkelon , hā·’eš·qə·lō·w·nî הַגִּתִּ֔י Gath , hag·git·tî וְהָעֶקְרוֹנִ֖י and Ekron , wə·hā·‘eq·rō·w·nî וְהָעַוִּֽים׃ as well as that of the Avvites ; wə·hā·‘aw·wîm Joshua 13:4 מִתֵּימָ֞ן to the south , mit·tê·mān כָּל־ all kāl- אֶ֣רֶץ the land ’e·reṣ הַֽכְּנַעֲנִ֗י of the Canaanites , hak·kə·na·‘ă·nî וּמְעָרָ֛ה from Mearah ū·mə·‘ā·rāh אֲשֶׁ֥ר of ’ă·šer לַצִּידֹנִ֖ים the Sidonians laṣ·ṣî·ḏō·nîm עַד־ to ‘aḏ- אֲפֵ֑קָה Aphek , ’ă·p̄ê·qāh עַ֖ד as far as ‘aḏ גְּב֥וּל the border gə·ḇūl הָאֱמֹרִֽי׃ of the Amorites ; hā·’ĕ·mō·rî Joshua 13:5 וְהָאָ֣רֶץ the land wə·hā·’ā·reṣ הַגִּבְלִ֗י of the Gebalites ; hag·giḇ·lî וְכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl הַלְּבָנוֹן֙ Lebanon hal·lə·ḇā·nō·wn מִזְרַ֣ח to the east miz·raḥ הַשֶּׁ֔מֶשׁ . . . , haš·še·meš מִבַּ֣עַל from mib·ba·‘al גָּ֔ד Baal-gad gāḏ תַּ֖חַת below ta·ḥaṯ הַר־ Mount har- חֶרְמ֑וֹן Hermon ḥer·mō·wn עַ֖ד to ‘aḏ לְב֥וֹא vvv lə·ḇō·w חֲמָֽת׃ Lebo-hamath . ḥă·māṯ Joshua 13:6 כָּל־ All kāl- יֹשְׁבֵ֣י the inhabitants yō·šə·ḇê הָ֠הָר of the hill country hā·hār מִֽן־ from min- הַלְּבָנ֞וֹן Lebanon hal·lə·ḇā·nō·wn עַד־ to ‘aḏ- מִשְׂרְפֹ֥ת vvv miś·rə·p̄ōṯ מַ֙יִם֙ Misrephoth-maim — ma·yim כָּל־ all kāl- צִ֣ידֹנִ֔ים the Sidonians — ṣî·ḏō·nîm אָֽנֹכִי֙ I Myself ’ā·nō·ḵî אוֹרִישֵׁ֔ם will drive out ’ō·w·rî·šêm מִפְּנֵ֖י before mip·pə·nê בְּנֵ֣י the Israelites bə·nê יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל . . . . yiś·rā·’êl רַ֠ק Be sure to raq הַפִּלֶ֤הָ divide it by lot hap·pi·le·hā בְּֽנַחֲלָ֔ה as an inheritance bə·na·ḥă·lāh לְיִשְׂרָאֵל֙ to Israel , lə·yiś·rā·’êl כַּאֲשֶׁ֖ר as ka·’ă·šer צִוִּיתִֽיךָ׃ I have commanded you . ṣiw·wî·ṯî·ḵā Joshua 13:7 וְעַתָּ֗ה Now therefore wə·‘at·tāh חַלֵּ֞ק divide ḥal·lêq אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַזֹּ֛את this haz·zōṯ הָאָ֧רֶץ land hā·’ā·reṣ בְּנַחֲלָ֖ה as an inheritance bə·na·ḥă·lāh לְתִשְׁעַ֣ת to the nine lə·ṯiš·‘aṯ הַשְּׁבָטִ֑ים tribes haš·šə·ḇā·ṭîm וַחֲצִ֖י and the half-tribe wa·ḥă·ṣî הַשֵּׁ֥בֶט . . . haš·šê·ḇeṭ הַֽמְנַשֶּֽׁה׃ of Manasseh . ” ham·naš·šeh Joshua 13:8 עִמּ֗וֹ The other [half of Manasseh] , ‘im·mōw הָרֽאוּבֵנִי֙ along with the Reubenites hā·r·’ū·ḇê·nî וְהַגָּדִ֔י and Gadites , wə·hag·gā·ḏî לָקְח֖וּ had received lā·qə·ḥū נַחֲלָתָ֑ם the inheritance na·ḥă·lā·ṯām אֲשֶׁר֩ ’ă·šer מֹשֶׁ֗ה Moses mō·šeh נָתַ֨ן had given nā·ṯan לָהֶ֜ם them lā·hem בְּעֵ֤בֶר beyond bə·‘ê·ḇer הַיַּרְדֵּן֙ the Jordan hay·yar·dên
