Numbers 1:10 לִבְנֵ֣י from the sons liḇ·nê יוֹסֵ֔ף of Joseph : yō·w·sêp̄ לְאֶפְרַ֕יִם from Ephraim , lə·’ep̄·ra·yim אֱלִישָׁמָ֖ע Elishama ’ĕ·lî·šā·mā‘ בֶּן־ son ben- עַמִּיה֑וּד of Ammihud , ‘am·mî·hūḏ לִמְנַשֶּׁ֕ה and from Manasseh , lim·naš·šeh גַּמְלִיאֵ֖ל Gamaliel gam·lî·’êl בֶּן־ son ben- פְּדָהצֽוּר׃ of Pedahzur ; pə·ḏā·h·ṣūr Numbers 1:11 לְבִ֨נְיָמִ֔ן from Benjamin , lə·ḇin·yā·min אֲבִידָ֖ן Abidan ’ă·ḇî·ḏān בֶּן־ son ben- גִּדְעֹנִֽי׃ of Gideoni ; giḏ·‘ō·nî Numbers 1:12 לְדָ֕ן from Dan , lə·ḏān אֲחִיעֶ֖זֶר Ahiezer ’ă·ḥî·‘e·zer בֶּן־ son ben- עַמִּֽישַׁדָּֽי׃ of Ammishaddai ; ‘am·mî·šad·dāy Numbers 1:13 לְאָשֵׁ֕ר from Asher , lə·’ā·šêr פַּגְעִיאֵ֖ל Pagiel paḡ·‘î·’êl בֶּן־ son ben- עָכְרָֽן׃ of Ocran ; ‘ā·ḵə·rān Numbers 1:14 לְגָ֕ד from Gad , lə·ḡāḏ אֶלְיָסָ֖ף Eliasaph ’el·yā·sāp̄ בֶּן־ son ben- דְּעוּאֵֽל׃ of Deuel ; də·‘ū·’êl Numbers 1:15 לְנַ֨פְתָּלִ֔י [and] from Naphtali , lə·nap̄·tā·lî אֲחִירַ֖ע Ahira ’ă·ḥî·ra‘ בֶּן־ son ben- עֵינָֽן׃ of Enan . ” ‘ê·nān Numbers 1:16 אֵ֚לֶּה These men ’êl·leh קְרִיאֵי were appointed qə·rī·ʾē הָעֵדָ֔ה from the congregation ; hā·‘ê·ḏāh הֵֽם׃ they [were] hêm נְשִׂיאֵ֖י the leaders nə·śî·’ê מַטּ֣וֹת of the tribes maṭ·ṭō·wṯ אֲבוֹתָ֑ם of their fathers , ’ă·ḇō·w·ṯām רָאשֵׁ֛י the heads rā·šê אַלְפֵ֥י of the clans ’al·p̄ê יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל of Israel . yiś·rā·’êl Numbers 1:17 מֹשֶׁ֖ה So Moses mō·šeh וְאַהֲרֹ֑ן and Aaron wə·’a·hă·rōn אֵ֚ת - ’êṯ הָאֲנָשִׁ֣ים - hā·’ă·nā·šîm וַיִּקַּ֥ח took way·yiq·qaḥ הָאֵ֔לֶּה these men hā·’êl·leh אֲשֶׁ֥ר who ’ă·šer נִקְּב֖וּ had been designated niq·qə·ḇū בְּשֵׁמֽוֹת׃ by name , bə·šê·mō·wṯ Numbers 1:18 וְאֵ֨ת and wə·’êṯ בְּאֶחָד֙ on the first bə·’e·ḥāḏ הַשֵּׁנִ֔י day of the second haš·šê·nî לַחֹ֣דֶשׁ month la·ḥō·ḏeš הִקְהִ֗ילוּ they assembled hiq·hî·lū כָּל־ the whole kāl- הָעֵדָ֜ה congregation hā·‘ê·ḏāh וַיִּתְיַֽלְד֥וּ and recorded their ancestry way·yiṯ·yal·ḏū עַל־ by ‘al- מִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֖ם clans miš·pə·ḥō·ṯām אֲבֹתָ֑ם and families ’ă·ḇō·ṯām לְבֵ֣ית . . . , lə·ḇêṯ בְּמִסְפַּ֣ר counting bə·mis·par לְגֻלְגְּלֹתָֽם׃ one by one lə·ḡul·gə·lō·ṯām שֵׁמ֗וֹת the names šê·mō·wṯ עֶשְׂרִ֥ים of those twenty ‘eś·rîm מִבֶּ֨ן years of age mib·ben שָׁנָ֛ה . . . šā·nāh וָמַ֖עְלָה or older , wā·ma‘·lāh Numbers 1:19 כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר just as ka·’ă·šer יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- צִוָּ֥ה had commanded ṣiw·wāh
