חֶ֖רֶשׂ a clay ḥe·reś כְּלִי־ pot . kə·lî- Leviticus 14:6 אֶת־ - ’eṯ- יִקַּ֣ח And he is to take yiq·qaḥ אֹתָ֔הּ - ’ō·ṯāh וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- הַֽחַיָּה֙ the live ha·ḥay·yāh הַצִּפֹּ֤ר bird haṣ·ṣip·pōr הָאֶ֛רֶז together with the cedar hā·’e·rez וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- עֵ֥ץ wood , ‘êṣ שְׁנִ֥י scarlet yarn šə·nî הַתּוֹלַ֖עַת . . . , hat·tō·w·la·‘aṯ וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- הָאֵזֹ֑ב and hyssop , hā·’ê·zōḇ וְטָבַ֨ל and dip wə·ṭā·ḇal אוֹתָ֜ם - ’ō·w·ṯām וְאֵ֣ת׀ them wə·’êṯ בְּדַם֙ into the blood bə·ḏam הַצִּפֹּ֣ר . . . haṣ·ṣip·pōr הַצִּפֹּ֣ר of the bird haṣ·ṣip·pōr הַשְּׁחֻטָ֔ה that was slaughtered haš·šə·ḥu·ṭāh עַ֖ל over ‘al הַֽחַיָּ֗ה ha·ḥay·yāh הַֽחַיִּֽים׃ the fresh ha·ḥay·yîm הַמַּ֥יִם water . ham·ma·yim Leviticus 14:7 שֶׁ֣בַע Seven še·ḇa‘ פְּעָמִ֑ים times pə·‘ā·mîm וְהִזָּ֗ה he shall sprinkle wə·hiz·zāh עַ֧ל . . . ‘al הַמִּטַּהֵ֛ר the one to be cleansed ham·miṭ·ṭa·hêr מִן־ of min- הַצָּרַ֖עַת the skin disease . haṣ·ṣā·ra·‘aṯ וְטִ֣הֲר֔וֹ Then he shall pronounce him clean wə·ṭi·hă·rōw וְשִׁלַּ֛ח and release wə·šil·laḥ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַֽחַיָּ֖ה the live ha·ḥay·yāh הַצִּפֹּ֥ר bird haṣ·ṣip·pōr עַל־ into ‘al- פְּנֵ֥י the open pə·nê הַשָּׂדֶֽה׃ field . haś·śā·ḏeh Leviticus 14:8 הַמִּטַּהֵ֨ר The one being cleansed ham·miṭ·ṭa·hêr אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וְכִבֶּס֩ must wash wə·ḵib·bes בְּגָדָ֜יו his clothes , bə·ḡā·ḏāw וְגִלַּ֣ח shave off wə·ḡil·laḥ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- כָּל־ all kāl- שְׂעָר֗וֹ his hair , śə·‘ā·rōw וְרָחַ֤ץ and bathe wə·rā·ḥaṣ בַּמַּ֙יִם֙ with water ; bam·ma·yim וְטָהֵ֔ר then he will be ceremonially clean . wə·ṭā·hêr וְאַחַ֖ר Afterward , wə·’a·ḥar יָב֣וֹא he may enter yā·ḇō·w אֶל־ . . . ’el- הַֽמַּחֲנֶ֑ה the camp , ham·ma·ḥă·neh וְיָשַׁ֛ב but he must remain wə·yā·šaḇ מִח֥וּץ outside mi·ḥūṣ לְאָהֳל֖וֹ his tent lə·’ā·ho·lōw שִׁבְעַ֥ת for seven šiḇ·‘aṯ יָמִֽים׃ days . yā·mîm Leviticus 14:9 הַשְּׁבִיעִ֜י On the seventh haš·šə·ḇî·‘î בַיּ֨וֹם day ḇay·yō·wm וְהָיָה֩ . . . wə·hā·yāh יְגַלַּ֣ח he must shave off yə·ḡal·laḥ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- כָּל־ all kāl- שְׂעָר֗וֹ his hair — śə·‘ā·rōw אֶת־ - ’eṯ- רֹאשׁ֤וֹ his head , rō·šōw וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- זְקָנוֹ֙ his beard , zə·qā·nōw וְאֵת֙ - wə·’êṯ גַּבֹּ֣ת his eyebrows gab·bōṯ עֵינָ֔יו . . . , ‘ê·nāw וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- כָּל־ and the rest kāl- שְׂעָר֖וֹ of his hair . śə·‘ā·rōw יְגַלֵּ֑חַ . . . yə·ḡal·lê·aḥ וְכִבֶּ֣ס He must wash wə·ḵib·bes אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בְּגָדָ֗יו his clothes bə·ḡā·ḏāw וְרָחַ֧ץ and bathe wə·rā·ḥaṣ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- בְּשָׂר֛וֹ himself bə·śā·rōw בַּמַּ֖יִם with water , bam·ma·yim וְטָהֵֽר׃ and he will be clean . wə·ṭā·hêr
