Leviticus 8:11 וַיַּ֥ז He sprinkled way·yaz מִמֶּ֛נּוּ some of mim·men·nū עַל־ the oil on ‘al- הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ the altar ham·miz·bê·aḥ שֶׁ֣בַע seven še·ḇa‘ פְּעָמִ֑ים times , pə·‘ā·mîm וַיִּמְשַׁ֨ח anointing way·yim·šaḥ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַמִּזְבֵּ֜חַ the altar ham·miz·bê·aḥ וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- כָּל־ and all kāl- כֵּלָ֗יו its utensils , kê·lāw וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- הַכִּיֹּ֛ר and the basin hak·kî·yōr וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- כַּנּ֖וֹ with its stand , kan·nōw לְקַדְּשָֽׁם׃ to consecrate them . lə·qad·də·šām Leviticus 8:12 וַיִּצֹק֙ He also poured way·yi·ṣōq הַמִּשְׁחָ֔ה some of the anointing ham·miš·ḥāh מִשֶּׁ֣מֶן oil miš·še·men עַ֖ל on ‘al אַהֲרֹ֑ן Aaron’s ’a·hă·rōn רֹ֣אשׁ head rōš וַיִּמְשַׁ֥ח and anointed way·yim·šaḥ אֹת֖וֹ him ’ō·ṯōw לְקַדְּשֽׁוֹ׃ to consecrate him . lə·qad·də·šōw Leviticus 8:13 מֹשֶׁ֜ה Then Moses mō·šeh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיַּקְרֵ֨ב presented way·yaq·rêḇ אַהֲרֹ֗ן Aaron’s ’a·hă·rōn בְּנֵ֣י sons , bə·nê וַיַּלְבִּשֵׁ֤ם put way·yal·bi·šêm כֻּתֳּנֹת֙ tunics on them , kut·to·nōṯ אַבְנֵ֔ט wrapped sashes ’aḇ·nêṭ וַיַּחְגֹּ֤ר around them , way·yaḥ·gōr אֹתָם֙ - ’ō·ṯām וַיַּחֲבֹ֥שׁ and tied way·ya·ḥă·ḇōš מִגְבָּע֑וֹת headbands miḡ·bā·‘ō·wṯ לָהֶ֖ם on them , lā·hem כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר just as ka·’ă·šer יְהוָ֖ה YHWH Yah·weh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- צִוָּ֥ה had commanded ṣiw·wāh מֹשֶֽׁה׃ [him] . mō·šeh Leviticus 8:14 פַּ֣ר [Moses] then brought the bull par וַיַּגֵּ֕שׁ near way·yag·gêš אֵ֖ת - ’êṯ הַֽחַטָּ֑את for the sin offering , ha·ḥaṭ·ṭāṯ אַהֲרֹ֤ן and Aaron ’a·hă·rōn וּבָנָיו֙ and his sons ū·ḇā·nāw אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיִּסְמֹ֨ךְ laid way·yis·mōḵ יְדֵיהֶ֔ם their hands yə·ḏê·hem עַל־ on ‘al- רֹ֖אשׁ its head rōš פַּ֥ר - par הַֽחַטָּֽאת׃ - . ha·ḥaṭ·ṭāṯ Leviticus 8:15 מֹשֶׁ֤ה Moses mō·šeh אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וַיִּשְׁחָ֗ט slaughtered [the bull] , way·yiš·ḥāṭ וַיִּקַּ֨ח took way·yiq·qaḥ הַדָּם֙ some of the blood , had·dām וַ֠יִּתֵּן and applied way·yit·tên בְּאֶצְבָּע֔וֹ it with his finger bə·’eṣ·bā·‘ōw עַל־ to ‘al- סָבִיב֙ all [four] sā·ḇîḇ קַרְנ֨וֹת horns qar·nō·wṯ הַמִּזְבֵּ֤חַ of the altar , ham·miz·bê·aḥ וַיְחַטֵּ֖א purifying way·ḥaṭ·ṭê אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַ the altar . ham·miz·bê·aḥ וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- יָצַק֙ He poured out yā·ṣaq הַדָּ֗ם the rest of the blood had·dām אֶל־ at ’el- יְס֣וֹד the base yə·sō·wḏ הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ of the altar ham·miz·bê·aḥ וַֽיְקַדְּשֵׁ֖הוּ and consecrated it way·qad·də·šê·hū לְכַפֵּ֥ר so that atonement could be made lə·ḵap·pêr עָלָֽיו׃ on it . ‘ā·lāw Leviticus 8:16 מֹשֶׁ֖ה Moses also mō·šeh וַיִּקַּ֗ח took way·yiq·qaḥ אֶֽת־ - ’eṯ- כָּל־ all kāl- הַחֵלֶב֮ the fat ha·ḥê·leḇ
