Leviticus 1:9 וְקִרְבּ֥וֹ The entrails wə·qir·bōw וּכְרָעָ֖יו and legs ū·ḵə·rā·‘āw יִרְחַ֣ץ must be washed yir·ḥaṣ בַּמָּ֑יִם with water , bam·mā·yim הַכֹּהֵ֤ן and the priest hak·kō·hên אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וְהִקְטִ֨יר shall burn wə·hiq·ṭîr הַכֹּל֙ all of it hak·kōl הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חָה on the altar ham·miz·bê·ḥāh עֹלָ֛ה as a burnt offering , ‘ō·lāh אִשֵּׁ֥ה an offering made by fire , ’iš·šêh נִיח֖וֹחַ a pleasing nî·ḥō·w·aḥ רֵֽיחַ־ aroma rê·aḥ- לַֽיהוָֽה׃ס to YHWH . Yah·weh Leviticus 1:10 וְאִם־ If, however , wə·’im- קָרְבָּנ֧וֹ one’s offering qā·rə·bā·nōw לְעֹלָ֑ה is a burnt offering lə·‘ō·lāh מִן־ from min- הַצֹּ֨אן the flock — haṣ·ṣōn מִן־ from min- הַכְּשָׂבִ֛ים the sheep hak·kə·śā·ḇîm א֥וֹ or ’ōw מִן־ . . . min- הָעִזִּ֖ים goats — hā·‘iz·zîm יַקְרִיבֶֽנּוּ׃ he is to present yaq·rî·ḇen·nū תָּמִ֖ים an unblemished tā·mîm זָכָ֥ר male . zā·ḵār Leviticus 1:11 וְשָׁחַ֨ט He shall slaughter wə·šā·ḥaṭ אֹת֜וֹ - ’ō·ṯōw עַ֣ל it on ‘al צָפֹ֖נָה the north ṣā·p̄ō·nāh יֶ֧רֶךְ side ye·reḵ הַמִּזְבֵּ֛חַ of the altar ham·miz·bê·aḥ לִפְנֵ֣י before lip̄·nê יְהוָ֑ה YHWH , Yah·weh אַהֲרֹ֨ן and Aaron’s ’a·hă·rōn בְּנֵי֩ sons bə·nê הַכֹּהֲנִ֧ים the priests hak·kō·hă·nîm אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וְזָרְק֡וּ are to sprinkle wə·zā·rə·qū דָּמ֛וֹ its blood dā·mōw עַל־ against ‘al- הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ the altar ham·miz·bê·aḥ סָבִֽיב׃ on all sides . sā·ḇîḇ Leviticus 1:12 וְנִתַּ֤ח He is to cut wə·nit·taḥ אֹתוֹ֙ [the animal] ’ō·ṯōw לִנְתָחָ֔יו into pieces , lin·ṯā·ḥāw הַכֹּהֵן֙ and the priest hak·kō·hên וְעָרַ֤ךְ shall arrange wə·‘ā·raḵ אֹתָ֔ם them , ’ō·ṯām וְאֶת־ including wə·’eṯ- רֹאשׁ֖וֹ the head rō·šōw וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- פִּדְר֑וֹ and fat , piḏ·rōw עַל־ atop ‘al- הָאֵ֔שׁ the burning hā·’êš אֲשֶׁ֖ר - ’ă·šer עַל־ - ‘al- הָֽעֵצִים֙ wood hā·‘ê·ṣîm אֲשֶׁ֣ר that ’ă·šer עַל־ [is] on ‘al- הַמִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃ the altar . ham·miz·bê·aḥ Leviticus 1:13 וְהַקֶּ֥רֶב The entrails wə·haq·qe·reḇ וְהַכְּרָעַ֖יִם and legs wə·hak·kə·rā·‘a·yim יִרְחַ֣ץ must be washed yir·ḥaṣ בַּמָּ֑יִם with water , bam·mā·yim הַכֹּהֵ֤ן and the priest hak·kō·hên אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וְהִקְרִ֨יב shall bring wə·hiq·rîḇ הַכֹּל֙ all of it hak·kōl וְהִקְטִ֣יר and burn [it] wə·hiq·ṭîr הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חָה on the altar ; ham·miz·bê·ḥāh ה֗וּא it hū עֹלָ֣ה is a burnt offering , ‘ō·lāh אִשֵּׁ֛ה an offering made by fire , ’iš·šêh נִיחֹ֖חַ a pleasing nî·ḥō·aḥ רֵ֥יחַ aroma rê·aḥ לַיהוָֽה׃פ to YHWH .
