תִשְׂבָּ֔ע be satisfied , ṯiś·bā‘ וְיֶשְׁחֲךָ֖ and your hunger wə·yeš·ḥă·ḵā בְּקִרְבֶּ֑ךָ will remain with you . bə·qir·be·ḵā וְתַסֵּג֙ What you acquire , wə·ṯas·sêḡ וְלֹ֣א you will not wə·lō תַפְלִ֔יט preserve ; ṯap̄·lîṭ וַאֲשֶׁ֥ר and what wa·’ă·šer תְּפַלֵּ֖ט you save , tə·p̄al·lêṭ אֶתֵּֽן׃ I will give ’et·tên לַחֶ֥רֶב to the sword . la·ḥe·reḇ Micah 6:15 אַתָּ֥ה You ’at·tāh תִזְרַ֖ע will sow ṯiz·ra‘ וְלֹ֣א but not wə·lō תִקְצ֑וֹר reap ; ṯiq·ṣō·wr אַתָּ֤ה you ’at·tāh תִדְרֹֽךְ־ will press ṯiḏ·rōḵ- זַ֙יִת֙ olives za·yiṯ וְלֹא־ but not wə·lō- תָס֣וּךְ anoint yourselves ṯā·sūḵ שֶׁ֔מֶן with oil ; še·men וְתִיר֖וֹשׁ you will tread grapes wə·ṯî·rō·wōš וְלֹ֥א but not wə·lō תִשְׁתֶּה־ drink ṯiš·teh- יָּֽיִן׃ the wine . yā·yin Micah 6:16 וְיִשְׁתַּמֵּ֞ר You have kept wə·yiš·tam·mêr חֻקּ֣וֹת the statutes ḥuq·qō·wṯ עָמְרִ֗י of Omri ‘ā·mə·rî וְכֹל֙ and all wə·ḵōl מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה the practices ma·‘ă·śêh אַחְאָ֔ב of Ahab’s ’aḥ·’āḇ בֵית־ house ; ḇêṯ- וַתֵּלְכ֖וּ you have followed wat·tê·lə·ḵū בְּמֹֽעֲצוֹתָ֑ם their counsel . bə·mō·‘ă·ṣō·w·ṯām לְמַעַן֩ Therefore lə·ma·‘an תִּתִּ֨י I will make tit·tî אֹתְךָ֜ you ’ō·ṯə·ḵā לְשַׁמָּ֗ה a desolation , lə·šam·māh וְיֹשְׁבֶ֙יהָ֙ and your inhabitants wə·yō·šə·ḇe·hā לִשְׁרֵקָ֔ה an object of contempt ; liš·rê·qāh תִּשָּֽׂאוּ׃פ you will bear tiś·śā·’ū וְחֶרְפַּ֥ת the scorn wə·ḥer·paṯ עַמִּ֖י of the nations . ” ‘am·mî Micah 7:1 אַ֣לְלַי Woe is ’al·lay לִ֗י me ! lî כִּ֤י For kî הָיִ֙יתִי֙ I am hā·yî·ṯî כְּאָסְפֵּי־ like one gathering kə·’ā·sə·pê- קַ֔יִץ summer fruit qa·yiṣ כְּעֹלְלֹ֖ת at the gleaning kə·‘ō·lə·lōṯ בָּצִ֑יר of the vineyard ; bā·ṣîr אֵין־ there [is no] ’ên- אֶשְׁכּ֣וֹל cluster ’eš·kō·wl לֶאֱכ֔וֹל to eat , le·’ĕ·ḵō·wl בִּכּוּרָ֖ה no early fig bik·kū·rāh נַפְשִֽׁי׃ that I nap̄·šî אִוְּתָ֥ה crave . ’iw·wə·ṯāh Micah 7:2 חָסִיד֙ The godly [man] ḥā·sîḏ אָבַ֤ד has perished ’ā·ḇaḏ מִן־ from min- הָאָ֔רֶץ the earth ; hā·’ā·reṣ אָ֑יִן there is no ’ā·yin וְיָשָׁ֥ר one upright wə·yā·šār בָּאָדָ֖ם among men . bā·’ā·ḏām כֻּלָּם֙ They all kul·lām יֶאֱרֹ֔בוּ lie in wait ye·’ĕ·rō·ḇū לְדָמִ֣ים for blood ; lə·ḏā·mîm יָצ֥וּדוּ they hunt yā·ṣū·ḏū אִ֥ישׁ one ’îš אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אָחִ֖יהוּ another ’ā·ḥî·hū חֵֽרֶם׃ with a net . ḥê·rem Micah 7:3 עַל־ - ‘al- כַּפַּ֙יִם֙ Both hands kap·pa·yim לְהֵיטִ֔יב are skilled lə·hê·ṭîḇ הָרַ֤ע at evil ; hā·ra‘ הַשַּׂ֣ר the prince haś·śar וְהַשֹּׁפֵ֖ט and the judge wə·haš·šō·p̄êṭ שֹׁאֵ֔ל demand šō·’êl בַּשִׁלּ֑וּם a bribe . ba·šil·lūm וְהַגָּד֗וֹל When the powerful wə·hag·gā·ḏō·wl דֹּבֵ֨ר utters dō·ḇêr ה֖וּא his hū הַוַּ֥ת evil haw·waṯ נַפְשׁ֛וֹ desire , nap̄·šōw וַֽיְעַבְּתֽוּהָ׃ they all conspire together . way·‘ab·bə·ṯū·hā
