בְּנֵ֣י when the Israelites bə·nê יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל . . . yiś·rā·’êl כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר - ka·’ă·šer בִּתְעוֹת֙ went astray . biṯ·‘ō·wṯ Ezekiel 48:12 וְהָיְתָ֨ה It will be wə·hā·yə·ṯāh תְּרוּמִיָּ֛ה a special portion tə·rū·mî·yāh לָהֶ֧ם for them lā·hem מִתְּרוּמַ֥ת set apart mit·tə·rū·maṯ הָאָ֖רֶץ from the land , hā·’ā·reṣ קֹ֣דֶשׁ a most holy portion qō·ḏeš קָדָשִׁ֑ים . . . qā·ḏā·šîm אֶל־ adjacent to ’el- גְּב֖וּל the territory gə·ḇūl הַלְוִיִּֽם׃ of the Levites . hal·wî·yim Ezekiel 48:13 לְעֻמַּת֙ Bordering lə·‘um·maṯ גְּב֣וּל the territory gə·ḇūl הַכֹּהֲנִ֔ים of the priests , hak·kō·hă·nîm וְהַלְוִיִּ֗ם the Levites wə·hal·wî·yim חֲמִשָּׁ֨ה [shall have an area] 25,000 ḥă·miš·šāh וְעֶשְׂרִ֥ים . . . wə·‘eś·rîm אֶ֙לֶף֙ . . . ’e·lep̄ אֹ֔רֶךְ [cubits] long ’ō·reḵ עֲשֶׂ֣רֶת and 10,000 cubits ‘ă·śe·reṯ אֲלָפִ֑ים . . . ’ă·lā·p̄îm וְרֹ֖חַב wide . wə·rō·ḥaḇ כָּל־ The whole kāl- אֹ֗רֶךְ length ’ō·reḵ חֲמִשָּׁ֤ה [will be] 25,000 [cubits] ḥă·miš·šāh וְעֶשְׂרִים֙ . . . wə·‘eś·rîm אֶ֔לֶף . . . , ’e·lep̄ וְרֹ֖חַב and the width wə·rō·ḥaḇ עֲשֶׂ֥רֶת 10,000 [cubits] ‘ă·śe·reṯ אֲלָפִֽים׃ . . . . ’ă·lā·p̄îm Ezekiel 48:14 וְלֹא־ They must not wə·lō- יִמְכְּר֣וּ sell yim·kə·rū יָמֵ֛ר or exchange yā·mêr מִמֶּ֗נּוּ any of it , mim·men·nū וְלֹ֥א and they must wə·lō וְלֹ֥א not wə·lō יַעֲבוּר transfer ya·ʿă·ḇūr רֵאשִׁ֣ית this best [part] rê·šîṯ הָאָ֑רֶץ of the land , hā·’ā·reṣ כִּי־ for kî- קֹ֖דֶשׁ it is holy qō·ḏeš לַיהוָֽה׃ to YHWH . Yah·weh Ezekiel 48:15 הַנּוֹתָ֣ר The remaining area , han·nō·w·ṯār וַחֲמֵ֨שֶׁת 5,000 [cubits] wa·ḥă·mê·šeṯ אֲלָפִ֜ים . . . ’ă·lā·p̄îm בָּרֹ֗חַב wide bā·rō·ḥaḇ עַל־ ‘al- פְּנֵ֨י pə·nê חֲמִשָּׁ֤ה and 25,000 [cubits long] ḥă·miš·šāh וְעֶשְׂרִים֙ . . . wə·‘eś·rîm אֶ֔לֶף . . . , ’e·lep̄ חֹֽל־ will be for common use ḥōl- ה֣וּא hū לָעִ֔יר by the city , lā·‘îr לְמוֹשָׁ֖ב for houses , lə·mō·wō·šāḇ וּלְמִגְרָ֑שׁ and for pastureland . ū·lə·miḡ·rāš הָעִ֖יר The city hā·‘îr וְהָיְתָ֥ה will be wə·hā·yə·ṯāh בְּתוֹכֹה׃ in the center of it bə·ṯō·ḵōh Ezekiel 48:16 וְאֵלֶּה֮ and will have these wə·’êl·leh מִדּוֹתֶיהָ֒ measurements : mid·dō·w·ṯe·hā חֲמֵ֤שׁ 4,500 [cubits] ḥă·mêš מֵאוֹת֙ . . . mê·’ō·wṯ וְאַרְבַּ֣עַת . . . wə·’ar·ba·‘aṯ אֲלָפִ֔ים . . . ’ă·lā·p̄îm צָפ֗וֹן on the north ṣā·p̄ō·wn פְּאַ֣ת side , pə·’aṯ חֲמֵ֥שׁ 4,500 [cubits] ḥă·mêš חמש ḥ·mš מֵא֖וֹת . . . mê·’ō·wṯ וְאַרְבַּ֣עַת . . . wə·’ar·ba·‘aṯ אֲלָפִ֑ים . . . ’ă·lā·p̄îm נֶ֕גֶב on the south ne·ḡeḇ וּפְאַת־ side , ū·p̄ə·’aṯ- חֲמֵ֤שׁ 4,500 [cubits] ḥă·mêš מֵאוֹת֙ . . . mê·’ō·wṯ וְאַרְבַּ֣עַת . . . wə·’ar·ba·‘aṯ אֲלָפִ֔ים . . . ’ă·lā·p̄îm קָדִ֗ים on the east qā·ḏîm וּמִפְּאַ֣ת side , ū·mip·pə·’aṯ חֲמֵ֥שׁ and 4,500 [cubits] ḥă·mêš מֵא֖וֹת . . . mê·’ō·wṯ
