וְרֹ֖חַב and the width wə·rō·ḥaḇ עֶשְׂרִ֥ים [to be] twenty ‘eś·rîm אַמָּֽה׃ vvv ’am·māh אַמָּ֔ה cubits . ’am·māh Ezekiel 41:3 וּבָ֣א And he went ū·ḇā לִפְנִ֔ימָה into [the inner sanctuary] lip̄·nî·māh וַיָּ֥מָד and measured way·yā·māḏ אֵֽיל־ the side pillars ’êl- הַפֶּ֖תַח at the entrance hap·pe·ṯaḥ שְׁתַּ֣יִם [to be] two šə·ta·yim אַמּ֑וֹת cubits [wide] . ’am·mō·wṯ וְהַפֶּ֙תַח֙ The entrance wə·hap·pe·ṯaḥ שֵׁ֣שׁ [was] six šêš אַמּ֔וֹת cubits [wide] , ’am·mō·wṯ הַפֶּ֖תַח [and the walls on each side] hap·pe·ṯaḥ שֶׁ֥בַע [were] seven še·ḇa‘ אַמּֽוֹת׃ cubits ’am·mō·wṯ וְרֹ֥חַב wide . wə·rō·ḥaḇ Ezekiel 41:4 וַיָּ֨מָד Then he measured way·yā·māḏ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֶל־ [the room] adjacent to ’el- פְּנֵ֣י . . . pə·nê הַֽהֵיכָ֑ל the inner sanctuary ha·hê·ḵāl עֶשְׂרִ֣ים [to be] twenty ‘eś·rîm אַמָּ֗ה cubits ’am·māh אָרְכּ֜וֹ long ’ā·rə·kōw עֶשְׂרִ֥ים [and] twenty ‘eś·rîm אַמָּ֖ה cubits ’am·māh וְרֹ֛חַב wide . wə·rō·ḥaḇ וַיֹּ֣אמֶר And he said way·yō·mer אֵלַ֔י to me , ’ê·lay זֶ֖ה “ This zeh קֹ֥דֶשׁ is the Most Holy Place qō·ḏeš הַקֳּדָשִֽׁים׃ . . . . ” haq·qo·ḏā·šîm Ezekiel 41:5 וַיָּ֥מָד Next he measured way·yā·māḏ קִֽיר־ the wall qîr- הַבַּ֖יִת of the temple hab·ba·yiṯ שֵׁ֣שׁ [to be] six šêš אַמּ֑וֹת cubits [thick] , ’am·mō·wṯ וְרֹ֣חַב and the width wə·rō·ḥaḇ סָבִֽיב׃ of each sā·ḇîḇ הַצֵּלָע֩ side room haṣ·ṣê·lā‘ סָבִ֧יב׀ around sā·ḇîḇ סָבִ֛יב . . . sā·ḇîḇ לַבַּ֖יִת the temple lab·ba·yiṯ אַרְבַּ֨ע [was] four ’ar·ba‘ אַמּ֜וֹת cubits . ’am·mō·wṯ Ezekiel 41:6 וְהַצְּלָעוֹת֩ The side rooms wə·haṣ·ṣə·lā·‘ō·wṯ צֵלָ֨ע were arranged one ṣê·lā‘ אֶל־ above ’el- צֵלָ֜ע another ṣê·lā‘ שָׁל֧וֹשׁ in three levels šā·lō·wōš וּשְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים of thirty rooms each . ū·šə·lō·šîm פְּעָמִ֗ים . . . pə·‘ā·mîm וּ֠בָאוֹת There were ledges ū·ḇā·’ō·wṯ סָבִ֥יב׀ all around sā·ḇîḇ סָבִ֖יב . . . sā·ḇîḇ בַּקִּ֨יר the wall baq·qîr אֲשֶׁר־ - ’ă·šer- לַבַּ֧יִת of the temple lab·ba·yiṯ לִהְי֣וֹת to serve as lih·yō·wṯ אֲחוּזִ֑ים supports ’ă·ḥū·zîm לַצְּלָע֛וֹת for the side rooms , laṣ·ṣə·lā·‘ō·wṯ אֲחוּזִ֖ים so that the supports ’ă·ḥū·zîm וְלֹֽא־ would not wə·lō- יִהְי֥וּ be [fastened] into yih·yū בְּקִ֥יר the wall bə·qîr הַבָּֽיִת׃ of the temple itself . hab·bā·yiṯ Ezekiel 41:7 לַצְּלָע֗וֹת The side rooms laṣ·ṣə·lā·‘ō·wṯ כִּ֣י . . . kî מֽוּסַב־ surrounding mū·saḇ- הַ֠בַּיִת the temple hab·ba·yiṯ וְֽרָחֲבָ֡ה widened at each successive level wə·rā·ḥă·ḇāh וְֽנָסְבָה֩ . . . wə·nā·sə·ḇāh לְמַ֨עְלָה . . . , lə·ma‘·lāh לְמַ֜עְלָה . . . lə·ma‘·lāh סָבִ֤יב׀ because the structure surrounding sā·ḇîḇ סָבִיב֙ . . . sā·ḇîḇ לַבַּ֔יִת the temple lab·ba·yiṯ לְמַ֨עְלָה ascended lə·ma‘·lāh לְמַ֜עְלָה by stages lə·ma‘·lāh עַל־ corresponding to ‘al- כֵּ֥ן . . . kên רֹֽחַב־ the narrowing of the temple wall rō·ḥaḇ- לַבַּ֖יִת . . . lab·ba·yiṯ
