תַּ֥חַת beneath ta·ḥaṯ אֱלֹהֵֽי־ the God ’ĕ·lō·hê- יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל of Israel yiś·rā·’êl בִּֽנְהַר־ by the River bin·har- כְּבָ֑ר Kebar , kə·ḇār וָאֵדַ֕ע and I knew wā·’ê·ḏa‘ כִּ֥י that kî הֵֽמָּה׃ they hêm·māh כְרוּבִ֖ים were cherubim . ḵə·rū·ḇîm Ezekiel 10:21 לְאֶחָ֔ד Each lə·’e·ḥāḏ וְאַרְבַּ֥ע . . . wə·’ar·ba‘ אַרְבָּעָ֨ה had four ’ar·bā·‘āh פָנִים֙ faces p̄ā·nîm לְאֶחָ֑ד and lə·’e·ḥāḏ אַרְבָּעָ֤ה four ’ar·bā·‘āh כְּנָפַ֖יִם wings , kə·nā·p̄a·yim וּדְמוּת֙ with what looked like ū·ḏə·mūṯ אָדָ֔ם human ’ā·ḏām יְדֵ֣י hands yə·ḏê תַּ֖חַת under ta·ḥaṯ כַּנְפֵיהֶֽם׃ their wings . kan·p̄ê·hem Ezekiel 10:22 פְּנֵיהֶ֔ם Their faces pə·nê·hem הֵ֣מָּה . . . hêm·māh וּדְמ֣וּת looked like ū·ḏə·mūṯ הַפָּנִ֗ים the faces hap·pā·nîm אֲשֶׁ֤ר - ’ă·šer רָאִ֙יתִי֙ I had seen rā·’î·ṯî עַל־ by ‘al- נְהַר־ the River nə·har- כְּבָ֔ר Kebar kə·ḇār מַרְאֵיהֶ֖ם . . . mar·’ê·hem וְאוֹתָ֑ם - . wə·’ō·w·ṯām אִ֛ישׁ Each [creature] ’îš יֵלֵֽכוּ׃ went yê·lê·ḵū אֶל־ straight ahead ’el- עֵ֥בֶר . . . ‘ê·ḇer פָּנָ֖יו . . . . pā·nāw Ezekiel 11:1 ר֗וּחַ Then the Spirit rū·aḥ וַתִּשָּׂ֨א lifted me up wat·tiś·śā אֹתִ֜י - ’ō·ṯî וַתָּבֵ֣א and brought wat·tā·ḇê אֹ֠תִי me ’ō·ṯî אֶל־ to ’el- הַקַּדְמוֹנִי֙ - haq·qaḏ·mō·w·nî שַׁ֨עַר the gate ša·‘ar בֵּית־ of the house bêṯ- יְהוָ֤ה of YHWH Yah·weh הַפּוֹנֶ֣ה that faces hap·pō·w·neh קָדִ֔ימָה east . qā·ḏî·māh וְהִנֵּה֙ And there wə·hin·nêh בְּפֶ֣תַח at the entrance bə·p̄e·ṯaḥ הַשַּׁ֔עַר of the gate haš·ša·‘ar עֶשְׂרִ֥ים [were] twenty-five ‘eś·rîm וַחֲמִשָּׁ֖ה . . . wa·ḥă·miš·šāh אִ֑ישׁ men . ’îš בְתוֹכָ֜ם Among ḇə·ṯō·w·ḵām אֶת־ them ’eṯ- וָאֶרְאֶ֨ה I saw wā·’er·’eh יַאֲזַנְיָ֧ה Jaazaniah ya·’ă·zan·yāh בֶן־ son ḇen- עַזֻּ֛ר of Azzur ‘az·zur וְאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ- פְּלַטְיָ֥הוּ and Pelatiah pə·laṭ·yā·hū בֶן־ son ḇen- בְּנָיָ֖הוּ of Benaiah , bə·nā·yā·hū שָׂרֵ֖י who were leaders śā·rê הָעָֽם׃פ of the people . hā·‘ām Ezekiel 11:2 וַיֹּ֖אמֶר And [YHWH] said way·yō·mer אֵלָ֑י to me , ’ê·lāy בֶּן־ “ Son ben- אָדָ֕ם of man , ’ā·ḏām אֵ֣לֶּה these ’êl·leh הָאֲנָשִׁ֞ים are the men hā·’ă·nā·šîm הַחֹשְׁבִ֥ים who plot ha·ḥō·šə·ḇîm אָ֛וֶן evil ’ā·wen וְהַיֹּעֲצִ֥ים and give wə·hay·yō·‘ă·ṣîm רָ֖ע wicked rā‘ עֲצַת־ counsel ‘ă·ṣaṯ- הַזֹּֽאת׃ in this haz·zōṯ בָּעִ֥יר city . bā·‘îr Ezekiel 11:3 הָאֹ֣מְרִ֔ים They are saying , hā·’ō·mə·rîm לֹ֥א ‘ Is not lō בְקָר֖וֹב the time near ḇə·qā·rō·wḇ בְּנ֣וֹת to build bə·nō·wṯ בָּתִּ֑ים houses ? bāt·tîm
