Ecclesiastes 12:12 מֵהֵ֖מָּה And by these , mê·hêm·māh בְּנִ֣י my son , bə·nî וְיֹתֵ֥ר {be} further wə·yō·ṯêr הִזָּהֵ֑ר warned : hiz·zā·hêr אֵ֣ין There is no ’ên קֵ֔ץ end qêṣ עֲשׂ֨וֹת to the making ‘ă·śō·wṯ הַרְבֵּה֙ of many har·bêh סְפָרִ֤ים books , sə·p̄ā·rîm הַרְבֵּ֖ה and much har·bêh וְלַ֥הַג study wə·la·haḡ יְגִעַ֥ת wearies yə·ḡi·‘aṯ בָּשָֽׂר׃ the body . bā·śār Ecclesiastes 12:13 הַכֹּ֣ל When all hak·kōl נִשְׁמָ֑ע has been heard , niš·mā‘ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- ס֥וֹף the conclusion sō·wp̄ דָּבָ֖ר of the matter [is this] : dā·ḇār יְרָא֙ Fear yə·rā הָאֱלֹהִ֤ים God hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm וְאֶת־ and wə·’eṯ- שְׁמ֔וֹר keep šə·mō·wr מִצְוֺתָ֣יו His commandments , miṣ·wō·ṯāw כִּי־ because kî- זֶ֖ה this is zeh כָּל־ the whole [duty] kāl- הָאָדָֽם׃ of man . hā·’ā·ḏām Ecclesiastes 12:14 כִּ֤י For kî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הָאֱלֹהִ֛ים God hā·’ĕ·lō·hîm יָבִ֥א will bring yā·ḇi כָּל־ every kāl- מַֽעֲשֶׂ֔ה deed ma·‘ă·śeh בְמִשְׁפָּ֖ט into judgment , ḇə·miš·pāṭ עַ֣ל along with ‘al נֶעְלָ֑ם every hidden ne‘·lām כָּל־ thing , kāl- אִם־ whether ’im- ט֖וֹב good ṭō·wḇ וְאִם־ or wə·’im- רָֽע׃ evil . rā‘ Song of Solomon 1:1 אֲשֶׁ֥ר This [is] ’ă·šer לִשְׁלֹמֹֽה׃ Solomon’s liš·lō·mōh שִׁ֥יר Song šîr הַשִּׁירִ֖ים of Songs . haš·šî·rîm Song of Solomon 1:2 יִשָּׁקֵ֙נִי֙ Let him kiss me yiš·šā·qê·nî מִנְּשִׁיק֣וֹת with the kisses min·nə·šî·qō·wṯ פִּ֔יהוּ of his mouth ! pî·hū כִּֽי־ For kî- דֹּדֶ֖יךָ your love dō·ḏe·ḵā טוֹבִ֥ים is more delightful ṭō·w·ḇîm מִיָּֽיִן׃ than wine . mî·yā·yin Song of Solomon 1:3 לְרֵ֙יחַ֙ The fragrance lə·rê·aḥ שְׁמָנֶ֣יךָ of your perfume šə·mā·ne·ḵā טוֹבִ֔ים is pleasing ; ṭō·w·ḇîm שְׁמֶ֑ךָ your name šə·me·ḵā שֶׁ֖מֶן is like perfume še·men תּוּרַ֣ק poured out . tū·raq עַל־ No wonder ‘al- כֵּ֖ן . . . kên עֲלָמ֥וֹת the maidens ‘ă·lā·mō·wṯ אֲהֵבֽוּךָ׃ adore you . ’ă·hê·ḇū·ḵā Song of Solomon 1:4 מָשְׁכֵ֖נִי Take me mā·šə·ḵê·nî אַחֲרֶ֣יךָ away with you — ’a·ḥă·re·ḵā נָּר֑וּצָה let us hurry ! nā·rū·ṣāh הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ May the king ham·me·leḵ הֱבִיאַ֨נִי bring me hĕ·ḇî·’a·nî חֲדָרָ֗יו to his chambers . ḥă·ḏā·rāw נָגִ֤ילָה We will rejoice nā·ḡî·lāh וְנִשְׂמְחָה֙ and delight wə·niś·mə·ḥāh בָּ֔ךְ in you ; bāḵ נַזְכִּ֤ירָה we will praise naz·kî·rāh דֹדֶ֙יךָ֙ your love ḏō·ḏe·ḵā מִיַּ֔יִן more than wine . mî·ya·yin מֵישָׁרִ֖ים It is only right mê·šā·rîm אֲהֵבֽוּךָ׃ס that they adore you . ’ă·hê·ḇū·ḵā
