שָֽׁקֶר׃ falsehood . šā·qer Psalm 7:15 כָּ֭רָֽה He has dug kā·rāh בּ֣וֹר a hole bō·wr וַֽיַּחְפְּרֵ֑הוּ and hollowed it out ; way·yaḥ·pə·rê·hū וַ֝יִּפֹּ֗ל he has fallen way·yip·pōl בְּשַׁ֣חַת into a pit bə·ša·ḥaṯ יִפְעָֽל׃ of his own making . yip̄·‘āl Psalm 7:16 עֲמָל֣וֹ His trouble ‘ă·mā·lōw יָשׁ֣וּב recoils yā·šūḇ בְרֹאשׁ֑וֹ on himself , ḇə·rō·šōw חֲמָס֥וֹ and his violence ḥă·mā·sōw יֵרֵֽד׃ falls yê·rêḏ וְעַ֥ל on wə·‘al קָ֝דְקֳד֗וֹ his own head . qā·ḏə·qo·ḏōw Psalm 7:17 אוֹדֶ֣ה I will thank ’ō·w·ḏeh יְהוָ֣ה YHWH Yah·weh כְּצִדְק֑וֹ for His righteousness kə·ṣiḏ·qōw וַ֝אֲזַמְּרָ֗ה and sing praise wa·’ă·zam·mə·rāh שֵֽׁם־ to the name šêm- יְהוָ֥ה of YHWH Yah·weh עֶלְיֽוֹן׃ Most High . ‘el·yō·wn Psalm 8:1 לַמְנַצֵּ֥חַ For the choirmaster . lam·naṣ·ṣê·aḥ עַֽל־ According to ‘al- הַגִּתִּ֗ית Gittith . hag·git·tîṯ מִזְמ֥וֹר A Psalm miz·mō·wr לְדָוִֽד׃ of David . lə·ḏā·wiḏ יְהוָ֤ה O YHWH , Yah·weh אֲדֹנֵ֗ינוּ our Lord , ’ă·ḏō·nê·nū מָֽה־ how māh- אַדִּ֣יר majestic ’ad·dîr שִׁ֭מְךָ is Your name mə·ḵā בְּכָל־ in all bə·ḵāl הָאָ֑רֶץ the earth ! hā·’ā·reṣ אֲשֶׁ֥ר You ’ă·šer תְּנָ֥ה have set tə·nāh ה֝וֹדְךָ֗ Your glory hō·wḏ·ḵā עַל־ above ‘al- הַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃ the heavens . haš·šā·mā·yim Psalm 8:2 מִפִּ֤י From the mouths mip·pî עֽוֹלְלִ֨ים׀ of children ‘ō·wl·lîm וְֽיֹנְקִים֮ and infants wə·yō·nə·qîm יִסַּ֪דְתָּ֫ You have ordained yis·saḏ·tā עֹ֥ז praise ‘ōz לְמַ֥עַן on account of lə·ma·‘an צוֹרְרֶ֑יךָ Your adversaries , ṣō·wr·re·ḵā לְהַשְׁבִּ֥ית to silence lə·haš·bîṯ א֝וֹיֵ֗ב the enemy ’ō·w·yêḇ וּמִתְנַקֵּֽם׃ and avenger . ū·miṯ·naq·qêm Psalm 8:3 כִּֽי־ When kî- אֶרְאֶ֣ה I behold ’er·’eh שָׁ֭מֶיךָ Your heavens , me·ḵā מַעֲשֵׂ֣י the work ma·‘ă·śê אֶצְבְּעֹתֶ֑יךָ of Your fingers , ’eṣ·bə·‘ō·ṯe·ḵā יָרֵ֥חַ the moon yā·rê·aḥ וְ֝כוֹכָבִ֗ים and the stars , wə·ḵō·w·ḵā·ḇîm אֲשֶׁ֣ר which ’ă·šer כּוֹנָֽנְתָּה׃ You have set in place — kō·w·nā·nə·tāh Psalm 8:4 מָֽה־ what māh- אֱנ֥וֹשׁ is man ’ĕ·nō·wōš כִּֽי־ that kî- תִזְכְּרֶ֑נּוּ You are mindful [of him] , ṯiz·kə·ren·nū וּבֶן־ or the son ū·ḇen- אָ֝דָ֗ם of man ’ā·ḏām כִּ֣י that kî תִפְקְדֶֽנּוּ׃ You care for him ? ṯip̄·qə·ḏen·nū Psalm 8:5 וַתְּחַסְּרֵ֣הוּ You made him a little wat·tə·ḥas·sə·rê·hū מְּ֭עַט lower mə·‘aṭ מֵאֱלֹהִ֑ים than the angels ; mê·’ĕ·lō·hîm תְּעַטְּרֵֽהוּ׃ You crowned him tə·‘aṭ·ṭə·rê·hū וְכָב֖וֹד with glory wə·ḵā·ḇō·wḏ וְהָדָ֣ר and honor . wə·hā·ḏār Psalm 8:6 תַּ֭מְשִׁילֵהוּ You made him ruler tam·šî·lê·hū בְּמַעֲשֵׂ֣י of the works bə·ma·‘ă·śê
