עַל־ in ‘al- סֵ֥פֶר the Book sê·p̄er מַלְכֵי־ of the Kings mal·ḵê- יְהוּדָ֖ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh וְיִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ and Israel . wə·yiś·rā·’êl 2 Chronicles 32:33 וַיִּשְׁכַּ֨ב And Hezekiah rested way·yiš·kaḇ יְחִזְקִיָּ֜הוּ . . . yə·ḥiz·qî·yā·hū עִם־ with ‘im- אֲבֹתָ֗יו his fathers ’ă·ḇō·ṯāw וַֽיִּקְבְּרֻהוּ֮ and was buried way·yiq·bə·ru·hū בְּֽמַעֲלֵה֮ in the upper bə·ma·‘ă·lêh קִבְרֵ֣י tombs qiḇ·rê דָוִיד֒ of David’s ḏā·wîḏ בְנֵי־ descendants . ḇə·nê- כָּל־ All kāl- יְהוּדָ֖ה Judah yə·hū·ḏāh וְיֹשְׁבֵ֣י and the people wə·yō·šə·ḇê יְרוּשָׁלִָ֑ם of Jerusalem yə·rū·šā·lim עָֽשׂוּ־ paid ‘ā·śū- ל֣וֹ him lōw וְכָבוֹד֙ honor wə·ḵā·ḇō·wḏ בְמוֹת֔וֹ at his death . ḇə·mō·w·ṯōw בְנ֖וֹ And his son ḇə·nōw מְנַשֶּׁ֥ה Manasseh mə·naš·šeh וַיִּמְלֹ֛ךְ reigned way·yim·lōḵ תַּחְתָּֽיו׃פ in his place . taḥ·tāw 2 Chronicles 33:1 מְנַשֶּׁ֣ה Manasseh mə·naš·šeh שְׁתֵּ֥ים was twelve šə·têm עֶשְׂרֵ֛ה . . . ‘eś·rêh בֶּן־ years old ben- שָׁנָ֖ה . . . šā·nāh בְמָלְכ֑וֹ when he became king , ḇə·mā·lə·ḵōw מָלַ֖ךְ and he reigned mā·laḵ בִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ in Jerusalem bî·rū·šā·lim וַחֲמִשִּׁ֤ים fifty-five wa·ḥă·miš·šîm וְחָמֵשׁ֙ . . . wə·ḥā·mêš שָׁנָ֔ה years . šā·nāh 2 Chronicles 33:2 וַיַּ֥עַשׂ And he did way·ya·‘aś הָרַ֖ע evil hā·ra‘ בְּעֵינֵ֣י in the sight bə·‘ê·nê יְהוָ֑ה of YHWH Yah·weh כְּתֽוֹעֲבוֹת֙ by following the abominations kə·ṯō·w·‘ă·ḇō·wṯ הַגּוֹיִ֔ם of the nations hag·gō·w·yim אֲשֶׁר֙ that ’ă·šer יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh הוֹרִ֣ישׁ had driven out hō·w·rîš מִפְּנֵ֖י before mip·pə·nê בְּנֵ֥י the Israelites bə·nê יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ . . . . yiś·rā·’êl 2 Chronicles 33:3 וַיָּ֗שָׁב For he rebuilt way·yā·šāḇ וַיִּ֙בֶן֙ . . . way·yi·ḇen אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַבָּמ֔וֹת the high places hab·bā·mō·wṯ אֲשֶׁ֥ר that ’ă·šer אָבִ֑יו his father ’ā·ḇîw יְחִזְקִיָּ֣הוּ Hezekiah yə·ḥiz·qî·yā·hū נִתַּ֖ץ had torn down , nit·taṣ וַיָּ֨קֶם and he raised up way·yā·qem מִזְבְּח֤וֹת altars miz·bə·ḥō·wṯ לַבְּעָלִים֙ for the Baals lab·bə·‘ā·lîm וַיַּ֣עַשׂ and made way·ya·‘aś אֲשֵׁר֔וֹת Asherah poles . ’ă·šê·rō·wṯ וַיִּשְׁתַּ֙חוּ֙ And he worshiped way·yiš·ta·ḥū וַֽיַּעֲבֹ֖ד and served way·ya·‘ă·ḇōḏ לְכָל־ all lə·ḵāl צְבָ֣א the host ṣə·ḇā הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם of heaven haš·šā·ma·yim אֹתָֽם׃ - . ’ō·ṯām 2 Chronicles 33:4 וּבָנָ֥ה [Manasseh] also built ū·ḇā·nāh מִזְבְּח֖וֹת altars miz·bə·ḥō·wṯ בְּבֵ֣ית in the house bə·ḇêṯ יְהוָ֑ה of YHWH , Yah·weh אֲשֶׁר֙ of which ’ă·šer יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh אָמַ֣ר had said , ’ā·mar שְּׁמִ֖י “ My Name šə·mî יִֽהְיֶה־ will remain yih·yeh- בִּירוּשָׁלִַ֥ם in Jerusalem bî·rū·šā·lim לְעוֹלָֽם׃ forever .” lə·‘ō·w·lām 2 Chronicles 33:5 בִּשְׁתֵּ֖י In both biš·tê חַצְר֥וֹת courtyards ḥaṣ·rō·wṯ בֵּית־ of the house bêṯ-
