לְאָֽב׃ Father . lə·’āḇ 1 Chronicles 28:7 וַהֲכִינוֹתִ֥י I will establish wa·hă·ḵî·nō·w·ṯî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- מַלְכוּת֖וֹ his kingdom mal·ḵū·ṯōw עַד־ forever ‘aḏ- לְעוֹלָ֑ם . . . , lə·‘ō·w·lām אִם־ if ’im- יֶחֱזַ֗ק he resolutely ye·ḥĕ·zaq לַעֲשׂ֛וֹת carries out la·‘ă·śō·wṯ מִצְוֺתַ֥י My commandments miṣ·wō·ṯay וּמִשְׁפָּטַ֖י and ordinances , ū·miš·pā·ṭay כַּיּ֥וֹם as is being done kay·yō·wm הַזֶּֽה׃ this day . ’ haz·zeh 1 Chronicles 28:8 וְ֠עַתָּה So now wə·‘at·tāh לְעֵינֵ֨י in the sight lə·‘ê·nê כָל־ of all ḵāl יִשְׂרָאֵ֤ל Israel , yiś·rā·’êl קְהַל־ the assembly qə·hal- יְהוָה֙ of YHWH , Yah·weh וּבְאָזְנֵ֣י and in the hearing ū·ḇə·’ā·zə·nê אֱלֹהֵ֔ינוּ of our God , ’ĕ·lō·hê·nū שִׁמְר֣וּ keep šim·rū וְדִרְשׁ֔וּ and seek out wə·ḏir·šū כָּל־ all kāl- מִצְוֺ֖ת the commandments miṣ·wōṯ יְהוָ֣ה of YHWH Yah·weh אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֑ם your God , ’ĕ·lō·hê·ḵem לְמַ֤עַן so that lə·ma·‘an תִּֽירְשׁוּ֙ you may possess tî·rə·šū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- הַטּוֹבָ֔ה this good haṭ·ṭō·w·ḇāh הָאָ֣רֶץ land hā·’ā·reṣ וְהִנְחַלְתֶּ֛ם and leave it as an inheritance wə·hin·ḥal·tem לִבְנֵיכֶ֥ם to your descendants liḇ·nê·ḵem אַחֲרֵיכֶ֖ם . . . ’a·ḥă·rê·ḵem עַד־ forever ‘aḏ- עוֹלָֽם׃פ . . . . ‘ō·w·lām 1 Chronicles 28:9 וְאַתָּ֣ה As for you , wə·’at·tāh שְׁלֹמֹֽה־ Solomon šə·lō·mōh- בְנִ֡י my son , ḇə·nî דַּע֩ know da‘ אֶת־ - ’eṯ- אֱלֹהֵ֨י the God ’ĕ·lō·hê אָבִ֜יךָ of your father ’ā·ḇî·ḵā וְעָבְדֵ֗הוּ and serve Him wə·‘ā·ḇə·ḏê·hū בְּלֵ֤ב wholeheartedly bə·lêḇ שָׁלֵם֙ . . . šā·lêm חֲפֵצָ֔ה and with a willing ḥă·p̄ê·ṣāh וּבְנֶ֣פֶשׁ mind , ū·ḇə·ne·p̄eš כִּ֤י for kî יְהוָ֔ה YHWH Yah·weh דּוֹרֵ֣שׁ searches dō·w·rêš כָל־ every ḵāl לְבָבוֹת֙ heart lə·ḇā·ḇō·wṯ מֵבִ֑ין and understands mê·ḇîn יֵ֥צֶר the intent yê·ṣer וְכָל־ of every wə·ḵāl מַחֲשָׁב֖וֹת thought . ma·ḥă·šā·ḇō·wṯ אִֽם־ If ’im- תִּדְרְשֶׁ֙נּוּ֙ you seek Him , tiḏ·rə·šen·nū יִמָּ֣צֵא He will be found yim·mā·ṣê לָ֔ךְ by you ; lāḵ וְאִם־ but if wə·’im- תַּֽעַזְבֶ֖נּוּ you forsake Him , ta·‘az·ḇen·nū יַזְנִיחֲךָ֥ He will reject you yaz·nî·ḥă·ḵā לָעַֽד׃ forever . lā·‘aḏ 1 Chronicles 28:10 רְאֵ֣ה׀ Consider rə·’êh עַתָּ֗ה now ‘at·tāh כִּֽי־ that kî- יְהוָ֛ה YHWH Yah·weh בָּ֧חַר has chosen bā·ḥar בְּךָ֛ you bə·ḵā לִבְנֽוֹת־ to build liḇ·nō·wṯ- בַּ֥יִת a house ba·yiṯ לַמִּקְדָּ֖שׁ for the sanctuary . lam·miq·dāš חֲזַ֥ק Be strong ḥă·zaq וַעֲשֵֽׂה׃פ and do it . ” wa·‘ă·śêh 1 Chronicles 28:11 דָּוִ֣יד Then David dā·wîḏ וַיִּתֵּ֣ן gave way·yit·tên בְנ֡וֹ his son ḇə·nōw אֶת־ - ’eṯ- לִשְׁלֹמֹ֣ה Solomon liš·lō·mōh תַּבְנִ֣ית the plans taḇ·nîṯ הָאוּלָם֩ for the portico [of the temple] , hā·’ū·lām וְֽאֶת־ - wə·’eṯ-
