הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ of King ham·me·leḵ דָוִ֤יד David ḏā·wîḏ וְצָד֣וֹק and of Zadok , wə·ṣā·ḏō·wq וַאֲחִימֶ֔לֶךְ Ahimelech , wa·’ă·ḥî·me·leḵ וְרָאשֵׁי֙ and the heads wə·rā·šê הָֽאָב֔וֹת of the families hā·’ā·ḇō·wṯ לַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים of the priests lak·kō·hă·nîm וְלַלְוִיִּ֑ם and Levites — wə·lal·wî·yim אָב֣וֹת the family ’ā·ḇō·wṯ הָרֹ֔אשׁ heads hā·rōš הַקָּטָֽן׃ס and their younger haq·qā·ṭān אָחִ֥יו brothers ’ā·ḥîw לְעֻמַּ֖ת alike . lə·‘um·maṯ 1 Chronicles 25:1 דָּוִיד֩ Additionally, David dā·wîḏ וְשָׂרֵ֨י and the commanders wə·śā·rê הַצָּבָ֜א of the army haṣ·ṣā·ḇā לַעֲבֹדָ֗ה . . . la·‘ă·ḇō·ḏāh וַיַּבְדֵּ֣ל set apart way·yaḇ·dêl לִבְנֵ֤י some of the sons liḇ·nê אָסָף֙ of Asaph , ’ā·sāp̄ וְהֵימָ֣ן Heman , wə·hê·mān וִֽידוּת֔וּן and Jeduthun wî·ḏū·ṯūn הַנְּבִּיאִים to prophesy han·nə·bī·ʾīm בְּכִנֹּר֥וֹת with the accompaniment of lyres , bə·ḵin·nō·rō·wṯ בִּנְבָלִ֖ים harps , bin·ḇā·lîm וּבִמְצִלְתָּ֑יִם and cymbals . ū·ḇim·ṣil·tā·yim וַֽיְהִי֙ The following way·hî מִסְפָּרָ֔ם is the list mis·pā·rām אַנְשֵׁ֥י of the men ’an·šê מְלָאכָ֖ה who performed mə·lā·ḵāh לַעֲבֹדָתָֽם׃ this service : la·‘ă·ḇō·ḏā·ṯām 1 Chronicles 25:2 לִבְנֵ֣י From the sons liḇ·nê אָסָ֗ף of Asaph : ’ā·sāp̄ זַכּ֧וּר Zaccur , zak·kūr וְיוֹסֵ֛ף Joseph , wə·yō·w·sêp̄ וּנְתַנְיָ֥ה Nethaniah , ū·nə·ṯan·yāh וַאֲשַׂרְאֵ֖לָה and Asarelah . wa·’ă·śar·’ê·lāh בְּנֵ֣י These sons bə·nê אָסָ֑ף of Asaph ’ā·sāp̄ עַ֚ל [were] under ‘al יַד־ the direction yaḏ- אָסָ֔ף of Asaph , ’ā·sāp̄ הַנִּבָּ֖א who prophesied han·nib·bā עַל־ under ‘al- יְדֵ֥י the direction yə·ḏê הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ of the king . ham·me·leḵ 1 Chronicles 25:3 לִידוּת֑וּן - lî·ḏū·ṯūn בְּנֵ֣י From the sons bə·nê יְדוּת֡וּן of Jeduthun : yə·ḏū·ṯūn גְּדַלְיָ֡הוּ Gedaliah , gə·ḏal·yā·hū וּצְרִ֡י Zeri , ū·ṣə·rî וִֽ֠ישַׁעְיָהוּ Jeshaiah [, Shimei] , wî·ša‘·yā·hū חֲשַׁבְיָ֨הוּ Hashabiah , ḥă·šaḇ·yā·hū וּמַתִּתְיָ֜הוּ and Mattithiah — ū·mat·tiṯ·yā·hū שִׁשָּׁ֗ה six [in all] — šiš·šāh עַל֩ under ‘al יְדֵ֨י the direction yə·ḏê אֲבִיהֶ֤ם of their father ’ă·ḇî·hem יְדוּתוּן֙ Jeduthun , yə·ḏū·ṯūn הַנִּבָּ֕א who prophesied han·nib·bā עַל־ - ‘al- בַּכִּנּ֔וֹר with the harp , bak·kin·nō·wr הֹד֥וֹת giving thanks hō·ḏō·wṯ וְהַלֵּ֖ל and praise wə·hal·lêl לַיהוָֽה׃ס to YHWH .
