1 Chronicles 12:19 נָפְל֣וּ Some from nā·p̄ə·lū וּמִֽמְּנַשֶּׁ֞ה Manasseh ū·mim·mə·naš·šeh עַל־ defected ‘al- דָּוִ֗יד to David dā·wîḏ בְּבֹא֨וֹ when he went bə·ḇō·’ōw עִם־ with ‘im- פְּלִשְׁתִּ֧ים the Philistines pə·liš·tîm עַל־ to fight ‘al- שָׁא֛וּל against šā·’ūl לַמִּלְחָמָ֖ה Saul . lam·mil·ḥā·māh וְלֹ֣א ( They did not wə·lō עֲזָרֻ֑ם help the Philistines ‘ă·zā·rum כִּ֣י because kî פְלִשְׁתִּים֙ the Philistine p̄ə·liš·tîm סַרְנֵ֤י rulers sar·nê בְעֵצָ֗ה consulted ḇə·‘ê·ṣāh שִׁלְּחֻ֜הוּ and sent David away , šil·lə·ḥu·hū לֵאמֹ֔ר saying , lê·mōr בְּרָאשֵׁ֕ינוּ “ It will cost us our heads bə·rā·šê·nū יִפּ֖וֹל if he defects yip·pō·wl אֶל־ to ’el- אֲדֹנָ֥יו his master ’ă·ḏō·nāw שָׁאֽוּל׃ Saul . ”) šā·’ūl 1 Chronicles 12:20 בְּלֶכְתּ֣וֹ When David went bə·leḵ·tōw אֶל־ to ’el- צִֽיקְלַ֗ג Ziklag , ṣî·qə·laḡ מִֽמְּנַשֶּׁ֡ה these men of Manasseh mim·mə·naš·šeh נָפְל֣וּ defected nā·p̄ə·lū עָלָ֣יו׀ to him : ‘ā·lāw עַ֠דְנַח Adnah , ‘aḏ·naḥ וְיוֹזָבָ֤ד Jozabad , wə·yō·w·zā·ḇāḏ וִידִֽיעֲאֵל֙ Jediael , wî·ḏî·‘ă·’êl וּמִיכָאֵ֣ל Michael , ū·mî·ḵā·’êl וְיוֹזָבָ֔ד Jozabad , wə·yō·w·zā·ḇāḏ וֶאֱלִיה֖וּא Elihu , we·’ĕ·lî·hū וְצִלְּתָ֑י and Zillethai , wə·ṣil·lə·ṯāy רָאשֵׁ֥י chiefs rā·šê הָאֲלָפִ֖ים of thousands hā·’ă·lā·p̄îm אֲשֶׁ֥ר - ’ă·šer לִמְנַשֶּֽׁה׃ in Manasseh . lim·naš·šeh 1 Chronicles 12:21 וְהֵ֗מָּה They wə·hêm·māh עָזְר֤וּ helped ‘ā·zə·rū עִם־ ‘im- דָּוִיד֙ David dā·wîḏ עַֽל־ against ‘al- הַגְּד֔וּד the raiders , hag·gə·ḏūḏ כִּֽי־ for kî- וַיִּהְי֥וּ they were way·yih·yū כֻּלָּ֑ם all kul·lām גִבּ֥וֹרֵי mighty men ḡib·bō·w·rê חַ֖יִל of valor ḥa·yil שָׂרִ֖ים and commanders śā·rîm בַּצָּבָֽא׃ in the army . baṣ·ṣā·ḇā 1 Chronicles 12:22 כִּ֚י For kî לְעֶת־ at [that] time lə·‘eṯ- יָבֹ֥אוּ men came yā·ḇō·’ū עַל־ to ‘al- דָּוִ֖יד David dā·wîḏ י֣וֹם day yō·wm בְּי֔וֹם after day bə·yō·wm לְעָזְר֑וֹ to help him , lə·‘ā·zə·rōw עַד־ until ‘aḏ- גָד֖וֹל he had a great ḡā·ḏō·wl לְמַחֲנֶ֥ה army , lə·ma·ḥă·neh כְּמַחֲנֵ֥ה like the army kə·ma·ḥă·nêh אֱלֹהִֽים׃פ of God . ’ĕ·lō·hîm 1 Chronicles 12:23 וְ֠אֵלֶּה Now these [are] wə·’êl·leh מִסְפְּרֵ֞י the numbers mis·pə·rê רָאשֵׁ֤י of men rā·šê הֶֽחָלוּץ֙ armed he·ḥā·lūṣ לַצָּבָ֔א for battle laṣ·ṣā·ḇā בָּ֥אוּ who came bā·’ū עַל־ to ‘al- דָּוִ֖יד David dā·wîḏ חֶבְר֑וֹנָה at Hebron ḥeḇ·rō·w·nāh שָׁא֛וּל to turn Saul’s šā·’ūl מַלְכ֥וּת kingdom mal·ḵūṯ לְהָסֵ֞ב over lə·hā·sêḇ אֵלָ֖יו to him , ’ê·lāw כְּפִ֥י in accordance with the word of kə·p̄î יְהוָֽה׃ס YHWH : Yah·weh 1 Chronicles 12:24 בְּנֵ֣י From Judah bə·nê
