אֶת־ - ’eṯ- וְאֶת־ and wə·’eṯ- הַמְּעִינִים Meunites ham·mə·ʿī·nīm אֲשֶׁ֤ר vvv ’ă·šer נִמְצְאוּ־ vvv nim·ṣə·’ū- שָׁ֙מָּה֙ there šām·māh אָהֳלֵיהֶ֜ם in their dwellings , ’ā·ho·lê·hem וַיַּחֲרִימֻם֙ devoting them to destruction way·ya·ḥă·rî·mum עַד־ [even] to ‘aḏ- הַזֶּ֔ה this haz·zeh הַיּ֣וֹם day . hay·yō·wm וַיֵּשְׁב֖וּ Then they settled way·yê·šə·ḇū תַּחְתֵּיהֶ֑ם in their place , taḥ·tê·hem כִּֽי־ because kî- מִרְעֶ֥ה there was pasture mir·‘eh שָֽׁם׃ . . . šām לְצֹאנָ֖ם for their flocks . lə·ṣō·nām 1 Chronicles 4:42 וּמֵהֶ֣ם׀ And ū·mê·hem חֲמֵ֣שׁ five ḥă·mêš מֵא֑וֹת hundred mê·’ō·wṯ אֲנָשִׁ֖ים - ’ă·nā·šîm מִן־ vvv min- בְּנֵ֣י vvv bə·nê שִׁמְע֗וֹן of these Simeonites šim·‘ō·wn בְּרֹאשָֽׁם׃ led by bə·rō·šām וּפְלַטְיָ֡ה Pelatiah , ū·p̄ə·laṭ·yāh וּ֠נְעַרְיָה Neariah , ū·nə·‘ar·yāh וּרְפָיָ֧ה Rephaiah , ū·rə·p̄ā·yāh וְעֻזִּיאֵ֛ל and Uzziel , wə·‘uz·zî·’êl בְּנֵ֥י the sons bə·nê יִשְׁעִ֖י of Ishi , yiš·‘î הָלְכוּ֙ went hā·lə·ḵū לְהַ֣ר to Mount lə·har שֵׂעִ֔יר Seir śê·‘îr 1 Chronicles 4:43 וַיַּכּ֕וּ and struck down way·yak·kū אֶת־ - ’eṯ- שְׁאֵרִ֥ית the remnant šə·’ê·rîṯ לַעֲמָלֵ֑ק of the Amalekites la·‘ă·mā·lêq הַפְּלֵטָ֖ה who had escaped . hap·pə·lê·ṭāh וַיֵּ֣שְׁבוּ And they have lived way·yê·šə·ḇū שָׁ֔ם there šām עַ֖ד to ‘aḏ הַזֶּֽה׃ this haz·zeh הַיּ֥וֹם day . hay·yō·wm 1 Chronicles 5:1 וּבְנֵ֨י These were the sons ū·ḇə·nê רְאוּבֵ֥ן of Reuben rə·’ū·ḇên בְּכֽוֹר־ the firstborn bə·ḵō·wr- יִשְׂרָאֵל֮ of Israel . yiś·rā·’êl כִּ֣י . . . kî ה֣וּא Though he hū הַבְּכוֹר֒ was the firstborn , hab·bə·ḵō·wr בְּכֹ֣רָת֔וֹ his birthright bə·ḵō·rā·ṯōw נִתְּנָה֙ was given nit·tə·nāh לִבְנֵ֥י to the sons liḇ·nê יוֹסֵ֖ף of Joseph yō·w·sêp̄ בֶּן־ son ben- יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל of Israel , yiś·rā·’êl וּֽבְחַלְּלוֹ֙ because Reuben defiled ū·ḇə·ḥal·lə·lōw אָבִ֔יו his father’s ’ā·ḇîw יְצוּעֵ֣י bed . yə·ṣū·‘ê וְלֹ֥א So he is not wə·lō לְהִתְיַחֵ֖שׂ reckoned lə·hiṯ·ya·ḥêś לַבְּכֹרָֽה׃ according to birthright . lab·bə·ḵō·rāh 1 Chronicles 5:2 כִּ֤י And though kî יְהוּדָה֙ Judah yə·hū·ḏāh גָּבַ֣ר prevailed gā·ḇar בְּאֶחָ֔יו over his brothers bə·’e·ḥāw וּלְנָגִ֖יד and a ruler ū·lə·nā·ḡîḏ מִמֶּ֑נּוּ came from him , mim·men·nū וְהַבְּכֹרָ֖ה the birthright wə·hab·bə·ḵō·rāh לְיוֹסֵֽף׃ס belonged to Joseph . lə·yō·w·sêp̄ 1 Chronicles 5:3 בְּנֵ֥י The sons bə·nê רְאוּבֵ֖ן of Reuben , rə·’ū·ḇên בְּכ֣וֹר the firstborn bə·ḵō·wr יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל of Israel : yiś·rā·’êl חֲנ֥וֹךְ Hanoch , ḥă·nō·wḵ וּפַלּ֖וּא Pallu , ū·p̄al·lū חֶצְר֥וֹן Hezron , ḥeṣ·rō·wn וְכַרְמִֽי׃ and Carmi . wə·ḵar·mî 1 Chronicles 5:4 בְּנֵ֖י The descendants bə·nê יוֹאֵ֑ל of Joel : yō·w·’êl שְׁמַֽעְיָ֥ה Shemaiah šə·ma‘·yāh
