1 Kings 22:12 וְכָל־ And all wə·ḵāl הַנְּבִאִ֔ים the prophets han·nə·ḇi·’îm נִבְּאִ֥ים were prophesying nib·bə·’îm כֵּ֖ן the same , kên לֵאמֹ֑ר saying , lê·mōr עֲלֵ֞ה “ Go up ‘ă·lêh רָמֹ֤ת to Ramoth-gilead rā·mōṯ גִּלְעָד֙ . . . gil·‘āḏ וְהַצְלַ֔ח and prosper , wə·haṣ·laḥ יְהוָ֖ה for YHWH Yah·weh וְנָתַ֥ן will deliver [it] wə·nā·ṯan בְּיַ֥ד into the hand bə·yaḏ הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ of the king . ” ham·me·leḵ 1 Kings 22:13 וְהַמַּלְאָ֞ךְ Then the messenger wə·ham·mal·’āḵ אֲשֶׁר־ who ’ă·šer- הָלַ֣ךְ׀ had gone hā·laḵ לִקְרֹ֣א to call liq·rō מִיכָ֗יְהוּ Micaiah mî·ḵā·yə·hū דִּבֶּ֤ר instructed him , dib·ber אֵלָיו֙ . . . ’ê·lāw לֵאמֹ֔ר . . . lê·mōr הִנֵּה־ “ Behold hin·nêh- נָ֞א now , nā אֶחָ֥ד with one ’e·ḥāḏ פֶּֽה־ accord peh- דִּבְרֵ֧י the words diḇ·rê הַנְּבִיאִ֛ים of the prophets han·nə·ḇî·’îm ט֖וֹב are favorable ṭō·wḇ אֶל־ . . . ’el- הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ to the king . ham·me·leḵ נָ֣א So please nā דִבְרֶיךָ let your words ḏiḇ·rɛ·ḵå̄ יְהִֽי־ be yə·hî- כִּדְבַ֛ר like theirs , kiḏ·ḇar אַחַ֥ד . . . ’a·ḥaḏ מֵהֶ֖ם . . . mê·hem וְדִבַּ֥רְתָּ and speak wə·ḏib·bar·tā טּֽוֹב׃ favorably . ” ṭō·wḇ 1 Kings 22:14 מִיכָ֑יְהוּ But Micaiah mî·ḵā·yə·hū וַיֹּ֖אמֶר said , way·yō·mer יְהוָ֕ה “ As surely as YHWH Yah·weh כִּ֠י . . . kî אֶת־ - ’eṯ- חַי־ lives , ḥay- אֲדַבֵּֽר׃ I will speak ’ă·ḏab·bêr אֲשֶׁ֨ר whatever ’ă·šer יְהוָ֛ה YHWH Yah·weh יֹאמַ֧ר tells yō·mar אֵלַ֖י me ’ê·lay אֹת֥וֹ - . ” ’ō·ṯōw 1 Kings 22:15 וַיָּבוֹא֮ When Micaiah arrived way·yā·ḇō·w אֶל־ - ’el- הַמֶּלֶךְ֒ - , ham·me·leḵ הַמֶּ֜לֶךְ the king ham·me·leḵ וַיֹּ֨אמֶר asked way·yō·mer אֵלָ֗יו him , ’ê·lāw מִיכָ֙יְהוּ֙ “ Micaiah , mî·ḵā·yə·hū הֲנֵלֵ֞ךְ should we go hă·nê·lêḵ לַמִּלְחָמָ֖ה to war lam·mil·ḥā·māh אֶל־ against ’el- רָמֹ֥ת Ramoth-gilead , rā·mōṯ גִּלְעָ֛ד . . . gil·‘āḏ אִם־ or ’im- נֶחְדָּ֑ל should we refrain ? ” neḥ·dāl עֲלֵ֣ה “ Go up ‘ă·lêh וְהַצְלַ֔ח and triumph , ” wə·haṣ·laḥ וַיֹּ֤אמֶר Micaiah replied way·yō·mer אֵלָיו֙ . . . , ’ê·lāw יְהוָ֖ה “ for YHWH Yah·weh וְנָתַ֥ן will give [it] wə·nā·ṯan בְּיַ֥ד into the hand bə·yaḏ הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ of the king . ” ham·me·leḵ 1 Kings 22:16 הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ But the king ham·me·leḵ וַיֹּ֤אמֶר said way·yō·mer אֵלָיו֙ to him , ’ê·lāw עַד־ “ How many ‘aḏ- כַּמֶּ֥ה . . . kam·meh פְעָמִ֖ים times p̄ə·‘ā·mîm אֲנִ֣י must I ’ă·nî מַשְׁבִּעֶ֑ךָ make you swear maš·bi·‘e·ḵā אֲ֠שֶׁר - ’ă·šer לֹֽא־ not lō- תְדַבֵּ֥ר to tell me ṯə·ḏab·bêr אֵלַ֛י . . . ’ê·lay רַק־ anything but raq-
