Joshua 19:1 הַשֵּׁנִי֙ The second haš·šê·nî הַגּוֹרָ֤ל lot hag·gō·w·rāl וַיֵּצֵ֞א came out way·yê·ṣê לְמִשְׁפְּחוֹתָ֑ם for the clans lə·miš·pə·ḥō·w·ṯām לְמַטֵּ֥ה of the tribe lə·maṭ·ṭêh לְשִׁמְע֔וֹן of Simeon lə·šim·‘ō·wn שִׁמְע֖וֹן - šim·‘ō·wn בְנֵֽי־ - : ḇə·nê- נַֽחֲלָתָ֔ם Their inheritance na·ḥă·lā·ṯām וַֽיְהִי֙ lay way·hî בְּת֖וֹךְ within bə·ṯō·wḵ נַחֲלַ֥ת the territory na·ḥă·laṯ יְהוּדָֽה׃ of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh בְּנֵֽי־ - bə·nê- Joshua 19:2 וַיְהִ֥י - way·hî לָהֶ֖ם - lā·hem בְּנַֽחֲלָתָ֑ם and included bə·na·ḥă·lā·ṯām בְּאֵֽר־ vvv bə·’êr- שֶׁ֥בַע Beersheba še·ḇa‘ וְשֶׁ֖בַע (or Sheba) , wə·še·ḇa‘ וּמוֹלָדָֽה׃ Moladah , ū·mō·w·lā·ḏāh Joshua 19:3 וַחֲצַ֥ר vvv wa·ḥă·ṣar שׁוּעָ֛ל Hazar-shual , šū·‘āl וּבָלָ֖ה Balah , ū·ḇā·lāh וָעָֽצֶם׃ Ezem , wā·‘ā·ṣem Joshua 19:4 וְאֶלְתּוֹלַ֥ד Eltolad , wə·’el·tō·w·laḏ וּבְת֖וּל Bethul , ū·ḇə·ṯūl וְחָרְמָֽה׃ Hormah , wə·ḥā·rə·māh Joshua 19:5 וְצִֽקְלַ֥ג Ziklag , wə·ṣiq·laḡ וּבֵית־ vvv ū·ḇêṯ- הַמַּרְכָּב֖וֹת Beth-marcaboth , ham·mar·kā·ḇō·wṯ וַחֲצַ֥ר vvv wa·ḥă·ṣar סוּסָֽה׃ Hazar-susah , sū·sāh Joshua 19:6 וּבֵ֥ית vvv ū·ḇêṯ לְבָא֖וֹת Beth-lebaoth , lə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ וְשָֽׁרוּחֶ֑ן and Sharuhen — wə·šā·rū·ḥen שְׁלֹשׁ־ thirteen šə·lōš- עֶשְׂרֵ֖ה . . . ‘eś·rêh עָרִ֥ים cities , ‘ā·rîm וְחַצְרֵיהֶֽן׃ along with their villages . wə·ḥaṣ·rê·hen Joshua 19:7 עַ֥יִן׀ Ain , ‘a·yin רִמּ֖וֹן Rimmon , rim·mō·wn וָעֶ֣תֶר Ether , wā·‘e·ṯer וְעָשָׁ֑ן and Ashan — wə·‘ā·šān אַרְבַּ֖ע four ’ar·ba‘ עָרִ֥ים cities , ‘ā·rîm וְחַצְרֵיהֶֽן׃ along with their villages , wə·ḥaṣ·rê·hen Joshua 19:8 וְכָל־ and all wə·ḵāl הַֽחֲצֵרִ֗ים the villages ha·ḥă·ṣê·rîm אֲשֶׁ֤ר - ’ă·šer סְבִיבוֹת֙ surrounding sə·ḇî·ḇō·wṯ הָאֵ֔לֶּה these hā·’êl·leh הֶֽעָרִ֣ים cities he·‘ā·rîm עַד־ as ‘aḏ- בַּֽעֲלַ֥ת vvv ba·‘ă·laṯ בְּאֵ֖ר far as Baalath-beer bə·’êr רָ֣אמַת ( Ramah of the Negev ) . rā·maṯ נֶ֑גֶב . . . ne·ḡeḇ זֹ֗את This zōṯ נַחֲלַ֛ת was the inheritance na·ḥă·laṯ לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָֽם׃ of the clans lə·miš·pə·ḥō·ṯām מַטֵּ֥ה of the tribe maṭ·ṭêh שִׁמְע֖וֹן of Simeon šim·‘ō·wn בְנֵֽי־ - . ḇə·nê- Joshua 19:9 נַחֲלַ֖ת The inheritance na·ḥă·laṯ שִׁמְע֑וֹן of the Simeonites šim·‘ō·wn בְּנֵ֣י . . . bə·nê מֵחֶ֙בֶל֙ was taken from the territory mê·ḥe·ḇel יְהוּדָ֔ה of Judah yə·hū·ḏāh בְּנֵ֣י - , bə·nê כִּֽי־ because kî- חֵ֤לֶק the share ḥê·leq יְהוּדָה֙ for Judah’s yə·hū·ḏāh בְּנֵֽי־ descendants bə·nê- הָיָ֞ה was hā·yāh
