Yah·weh 1 Chronicles 24:1 מַחְלְקוֹתָ֑ם [These were] the divisions maḥ·lə·qō·w·ṯām וְלִבְנֵ֥י of the descendants wə·liḇ·nê אַהֲרֹ֖ן of Aaron . ’a·hă·rōn בְּנֵ֣י The sons bə·nê אַהֲרֹ֔ן of Aaron ’a·hă·rōn נָדָב֙ were Nadab , nā·ḏāḇ וַאֲבִיה֔וּא Abihu , wa·’ă·ḇî·hū אֶלְעָזָ֖ר Eleazar , ’el·‘ā·zār וְאִיתָמָֽר׃ and Ithamar . wə·’î·ṯā·mār 1 Chronicles 24:2 נָדָ֤ב But Nadab nā·ḏāḇ וַאֲבִיהוּא֙ and Abihu wa·’ă·ḇî·hū וַיָּ֨מָת died way·yā·māṯ לִפְנֵ֣י before lip̄·nê אֲבִיהֶ֔ם their father did , ’ă·ḇî·hem הָי֣וּ and they had hā·yū לָהֶ֑ם . . . lā·hem לֹא־ no lō- וּבָנִ֖ים sons ; ū·ḇā·nîm אֶלְעָזָ֖ר so Eleazar ’el·‘ā·zār וְאִיתָמָֽר׃ and Ithamar wə·’î·ṯā·mār וַֽיְכַהֲנ֔וּ served as priests . way·ḵa·hă·nū 1 Chronicles 24:3 אֶלְעָזָ֔ר With the help of Eleazar’s ’el·‘ā·zār בְּנֵ֣י descendant bə·nê וְצָדוֹק֙ Zadok wə·ṣā·ḏō·wq מִן־ - min- מִן־ min- אִיתָמָ֑ר and Ithamar’s ’î·ṯā·mār בְּנֵ֣י descendant bə·nê וַאֲחִימֶ֖לֶךְ Ahimelech , wa·’ă·ḥî·me·leḵ דָּוִ֔יד David dā·wîḏ וַיֶּֽחָלְקֵ֣ם divided them way·ye·ḥā·lə·qêm לִפְקֻדָּתָ֖ם according to the offices lip̄·qud·dā·ṯām בַּעֲבֹדָתָֽם׃ of their service . ba·‘ă·ḇō·ḏā·ṯām 1 Chronicles 24:4 רַבִּ֞ים Since more rab·bîm לְרָאשֵׁ֧י leaders lə·rā·šê הַגְּבָרִ֛ים . . . hag·gə·ḇā·rîm וַיִּמָּצְא֣וּ were found way·yim·mā·ṣə·’ū אֶלְעָזָ֡ר among Eleazar’s ’el·‘ā·zār
